Came to San Antonio for the weekend and both of my sisters have previously come to Dough when they visited. It's all they still talk about if you mention San Antonio at all.We came for lunch and were immediately seated. The entire staff was super sweet and our waitress, Lily went above and beyond with everything. The inside was super cute and smelled amazing. We shared the cupped pepperoni pizza and got two small salads to start. The salads were delicious and the pizza was soft, gooey and had so many toppings! I can totally see why my sisters have never stopped talking about this place :)

Standout service and food for a party of 7 on a busy Saturday night seemed like a bit of a stretch, so color me surprised that our dinner at Dough was excellent from start to finish. Everyone ooh-ed and ahh-ed over their meals. Among the biggest raves were for the Nonna salad, a beautifully balanced plate of salt (capers/olives), fat (ricotta), and acid (fresh lemon) atop two large hearts of romaine, and the Fontina and Salsiccia pizza, a perfect crust that lived up to the restaurant's name loaded with mushrooms, mild sausage, and a balsamic drizzle.

Dough has long been recognized as one of the best pizza places in the US yet until today - I had never been to either location - and it was me that missed out! When you walk into a pizza place and smell a wood fired oven and hear the tunes of Billy Joel - you know it is going to be good!Glad we allowed ourselves one or two free days during Dry January as their take on a French 75- the Winter 75 - was superb and nice and tart with a lovely orange taste! My daughter enjoyed the extremely decedent Nutella Hot Chocolate. The Burrata was the best I have ever had, hands down. They had three different choices for $26-$28-or a sampler for all three for $30 which was a no brainer ! I love truffle so expected that to be my favorite but another with figs was the winner for me! We enjoyed warm olives and garlic too which were superb!I tried a pizza with truffle and mushrooms! Their menu states all pizzas are cooked at 800 degrees for 90 seconds - I would have liked mine to just be a little more charred and chewy but it was delicious nonetheless - but I was so full after the Burrata that I managed just one slice so have plenty of leftovers. The service was perfect and timed just right throughout our meal ! Great service, food and a really pretty, cozy setting! Cannot wait to be back!

While visiting San Antonio we passed Dough and I knew that befoe I left SA that I would have to visit for a meal. My friends and I stopped in for a late lunch. We were greeted warmly as we entered and I was happy to see a beautiful interior that was bright, open and inviting. The bar was set up so you could see all the colorful bottles on several long shelves across the back wall. We chose to sit at the bar. One of the bartenders took our order. I ordered a simple salad of field greens and we shared a Margherita pizza. The salad was fresh with nary a brown or wilted piece. The croutons were small cubes and about as crunchy as a crouton could be. The dressing was OK but not memorable. Complete perfection was the pizza. The crust was charred around the edges as it should have been having been cooked in a very hot wood fired oven at around 800 degrees. The balance of crust to sauce to cheese with a smattering of basil on top was just right. It was truly one of the best Margherita pizza I've had. Glad we stopped in and would look forward to a future visit.

Great service and awesome staff! Outgoing and lively vibes indoor ~Pizza was delicious! But extremely pricey. Got their classic Americana pizza - 12 inch. Did have a good amount of toppings but $25 for a personal size plus tax came over $27 dollar for this ONE item...As delicious as it was, definitely not almost $30 worth 7/10 perhaps may come back to try a different item ~

Really good, probably best pizza we've had in Texas. We got the uova e tarufo and fontin e salaiccia. The fontina was better and it was the perfect balance of flavors. The restaurant is really nice and it is next to a kids playground. We will be back!

amazing appetizers, drinks, and dessert.. however the pizza? FLOPPY AND SOGGY. i'll give the benefit of the doubt and assume i just got a bad pizza, or that it wasn't cooked enough, but i was disappointed with how floppy/soggy the entire pizza was. all of the toppings just slid right off of it :/ for the name having "Dough" in it, i really thought they'd have better pizza dough! cool ambience and good service though

Pretty good pizza, but expensive. We enjoyed a family meal here and shared a few pizzas and drinks with the family. It's not NY pizza but all the same it tasted great. But pricey! Maybe I'm behind on the whole inflation thingy, but I still don't think party of four should not ring up a $300 tab at a pizza joint.

Dough Pizzeria Napoletana just keeps getting better! After years of visiting their second location in San Antonio, I thought it was time to update my review and remove that horrible one star that I gave them years ago. Every since, this location has increased their quality in customer service and food. If you've never been to this restaurant before, they specialize in true neapolitan-style pizza, which means that they use a wood-burning oven which cooks the pizzas in a matter of seconds, and they also make their own burrata. My personal favorites are their margherita pizza and signature pork love pizza. If you are coming with multiple people I highly recommend ordering an assortment of burratas to share so you can taste all the different flavors they offer. The restaurant also carries a great selection of wines that pair perfectly with their amazing food. If you are a fan of the Italian culinary scene, then this restaurant is for you!
