Don Pedro Mexican Restaurant

My first experience there today 9-18-24 and it was wonderful. Our waitress was top notch, very friendly and attentive. Her name was Jessica C. I had complimented her on her nails and I might have jinxed her since she broke a nail. Please apologize. Food was fantastic. Restaurant was very clean. Ivan Hernández

We dined in for dinner on a what seemed to be busy Sunday evening. The parking lot was pretty full but we found a space. Upon checking in we didn't have to wait too long even though the waiting area was packed with large parties waiting for a table. Food was great as well as the service. Shout out to the kitchen staff for getting our food out very quickly. The restaurant is older but kept up well. The restaurant is also loud for some reason. We've dined in many times and it's always loud. It's also a rather large restaurant with lots of tables for large parties.

I have always had a great experience whenever I dine in here. I haven't had anything that has been disappointing. The food has been always great. This is my #1 spot for Mexican food in San Antonio. The Nachos are the best I've had. The enchiladas are good. The steak is tender. The strawberry margarita is good.

Don Pedro's Mexican Restaurant truly exceeded expectations. Despite a full parking lot, we were seated without any wait. Service was incredibly prompt--chips, salsa, and drinks arrived almost immediately, and our meals were served just minutes after ordering. The food was not only quick but also flavorful and cooked to perfection. Their military discount is a wonderful added bonus. A fantastic spot for anyone looking for fast, delicious Mexican cuisine!

Terrible customer service, rude Hostesses , Did not even get beyond that decided not to eat here because with that kind of attitude I do not need to give them my business!!!!!

Always amazing. Great food. Fantastic service. My favorite restaurant. It's grown but still has a homey feel.

The food was delicious. I had Christina's Relleno and loved it. My pina colada was delicious. A little bit on the weak side, so I'd ask for a floater. The kids chicken was delicious, too! Tried a bit of the baby's food to make sure it had cooled down enough and it was BOMB! The decor was pretty interesting. We were seated near some sort of roadrunner statue. Might have been a chicken. I don't know, but it looked cool. Service was a bit on the slow side. Seemed like we were constantly waiting for the server to return to the table with drinks, refills, and the tab... especially after he dropped off the wrong tab and had already applied the gift card to it. I was a bit surprised that he didn't realize the tab he dropped off had 4 adult entrees with alcoholic beverages and our table was two adults and an infant. The guy was polite and professional, but just didn't seem to understand the cadence of checking on tables. It wasn't overly busy and they had plenty of staff who seemed to do well with their sections. My hubby ended up leaving with the baby because he got tired of waiting for the server to come back after dropping off the wrong tab in the first place. We enjoyed the meal and will probably return again in the future.

Had to share my Don Pedro's nachos s The nachos are the only item on the menu I go there for ohh and the happy hour margaritas ‍ The drinks are strong, but cheap and you will get a headache the next day ‍ The service is good & the restaurant is usually clean and up to par. Not a bad spot to stop in for a quick bite if your in the area.

We were a party of ten. It did not take long no for a table to be prepared. We order our drinks, but we had to ask that they be brought to the table. We ordered our lunch which was served in a timely manner. I had a #2 lunch plate. I like that the cheese enchiladas were not packed with cheese. It was just enough. The beans and rice were very good. Good food and good service. We will go back.

Service was excellent! Food was great. Hardly no waiting time. Prices were good, cheaper than hand burger and fries. Happy hour made for another great time. Parking was a little tuff.
