Baja fish tacos were good, cochinita pork was just alright. Nice ambiance, but it seems like some parts are still under construction

The first time I went here I didn't make reservations so they stated that it would take 1.5 hours for me to get seated. I'm glad I made reservations in advance the second time as they were quoting the same wait time. The server Justin was great, however it was a bit of a wait to get our order and the check which wasn't his fault. They were just short on staff for the amount of customers. I enjoyed the food such as the elote which came off the cob served on a metal griddle pan (chips on the side which the server suggested). I wanted to order the short rib quesadilla, but they ran out for the night. Therefore, I decided to order tender Braised Short Ribs which had this sauce on it that made it go with the extra chips. The Poblano Burger had wagyu in it and it was delicious. Last but not least for dessert I got churros as there were only three items. The churros was piping hot and the breading inside seemed to be different from other churros that I've had before. The two sauces for it was different too. I would like to go back if I could.

We genuinely love this place, and go every time we're in the area, sometimes more than once per trip. This last time we did dinner and brunch the next day.I almost prefer brunch because majority of our favorites is available for brunch (except the halibut ceviche - which is a must try if you go for dinner)Love the green chicken enchiladas, the sauce is so good so I'd recommend just getting a side of that to dip your chips in:) the quinoa bowl left a little to be desired, it was too soupy, but the salad on it was good. ALWAYS get the churro waffle if you go for brunch and the fresh juice.Sit outside when possible, it's so pretty next to the riverwalk. Inside is a little dark. Service was pretty good. Checked on you often enough and didn't delay in bringing the tab.The ONLY downside and what pushed me to 4 stars is that you don't get chips and salsa. I don't understand how that's not the normal at a Mexican restaurant. Other than that, it's a good spot!

My husband and I enjoyed our experience at Domingo very much! First off, definitely make reservations! So thankful that we did as it was packed on a Friday evening! We sat at a table right by the river, so the ambience was beautiful! My husband had the steak with chimichurri and delicious potatoes - absolutely divine! I had chicken enchiladas. They were good, but I kept wanting bites of the steak and potatoes! Service wise - Our server wasn't the friendliest- she paid a lot more attention to the table next to ours. But overall, a lovely place to eat.

I came to San Antonio, and it's known for the River Walk. So I was just doing some sightseeing, I looked at the bridge and I thought, 'Man, if I do a flip off this bridge, that would be super-cool.' I don't recommend anybody jump off that bridge -- Steve-OYeah, don't jump off the bridge in San Antonio! But do come to Domingo's. I was in town for job interviews last year and we were very surprised at the quality of restaurants in this town. Domingo was excellent...great views from the patio...service was friendly and quick...and the food was very good! Not California Mexican food but better than most Tex-Mex in Texas. Enjoyed the ceviche, the flat iron steak and the pork. Excellent drink and wine list. We ordered the Daou Cabernet (not allowed to bring your own wine in Texas). Recommended!

Domingo was an absolute surprise and great restaurant! Here you'll find elevated Latin dishes, as well as some regular staples. But everything has a nice and welcomed kick! It's set right on Riverwalk and has great spaces inside and outside on the patio. The food and drink were very good and the staff was amazing as well! Can't wait to go back when visiting San Antonio! If you're in town or visiting, out Domingo on your list!

Delicious food, great service, inviting ambience - what more could we ask for on a beautiful evening? My friend and I were here at the end of a work trip and were famished. Luckily they were able to seat us just before closing - and with a smile to boot! We both ordered the succotash catch of the day and a glass of wine. The whole ambiance and vibe of the space were on point. The food was so good we were silent while we savored every bite. They didn't rush us in any way - we only wish we had more time in town so we could return for another meal here.

I visited this restaurant for an engagement proposal during the brunch hours and really enjoyed the experience. The location of this restaurant has a nice view of the riverwalk if you are seated outdoors. We had made reservations so we knew we were guaranteed outdoor seating. I will say that the indoor decor and seating is equally beautiful and worth sitting at in conditions where the outdoors might not be as pleasant (cold weather, too many people, wanting a more intimate and quiet experience). The servers were friendly and kind and food was delivered in a reasonable timeframe. We were a party of 7. I started with a simple mimosa, which came adorned with a Dendrobium orchid. Just stunning. We split two appetizers of guacamole and chips, which of course went fast. A classic Caesar salad was also ordered at the table; it looked fresh and crisp. For the entree, I ordered their Green Chile & Chicken Enchiladas which were topped with Yogurt Crema, Cilantro, Avocado, Lime, Tomato, Jalapeños and cheese. This dish is extremely tasty, filling, and Gluten Free! I would order it again. Other dishes pictured on this review are the Breakfast Burrito and the Poblano Burger. According to the guests that consumed them, they were super delicious! I couldnt eat the dessert, which is not a new thing for me as a gluten free diner, but boy did it smell good and look simply beautiful. The churro waffle....wow!

Sunday night at Domingo sounds like a good idea. It 100% is a fantastic idea. We made a reservation for 5pm for 4, we ended up leaving 15 minutes later than we anticipated. I called ahead and the host said that she could move our reservation to 5:30, but if we got there earlier we'd be seated earlier. She was very accommodating and when we arrived, we were seated close to the river. With the last few moments of daylight, we waved to the river tours passing by. At first there was always one person to wave back, but then the sunset. The outdoor space is gorgeous with concrete and wood accents, lush green plants, and striped blue cushions on benches that complimented the orange backed chairs. Each table is tiled in black and white, and comes with a small lamp that comes in handy when dining in the evening.Came here once with a friend for a late evening snack. I remembered each dish was excellent. The meats were cooked til tender. This time, we got different dishes. To start we had the elote which is served without the cob, with chips and guacamole. We also got the cornbread, and it rivals the legendary cornbread at Hatchet Hall on the west side of LA. That honey butter brings it to the next level. I was thinking about that el campo salad, and that rounded out our starters with fresh strawberry and jalapeno vinaigrette--very citrusy, but not spicy. We ordered our own mains. The one who got the burger was disappointed. I think if he hadn't removed the grilled onions, it probably would've been better. I'm always disappointed by "wagyu" burgers. Everyone else loved their dishes. I was intrigued but the watercress and squash served alongside the pollo asado. When my dish arrived, I was so pleased to see the bright colors of red tomatoes, yellow squash, green watercress and creamy tangy avocado base. The seasoning was heavy handed in a good way.Our server was cheerful and welcoming. She was sweet and checked in on us frequently. We got a refreshed water bottle often enough that we never had to ask for it. She offered more chips and at first I declined, but who can really resist chips? The salsa has a subtle roasted flavor, that doesn't overpower the tomato.I really liked this restaurant after my first time here, but after this experience, Domingo is my favorite restaurant on the river walk.
