I went into Dolce Kupcakes to fulfill a sweet tooth. This place is on a corner in the small shopping area beside the Target that's behind NorthstarMall. Parking was pretty easy because it's in a small shopping village. Upon entering, the sweet smell of cake and buttercream transports you to fairyland. The place was small and very clean. Not sure if they have bathrooms, but there's no seating so you'll have to place your orders to-go. Most of the selection of cupcakes were gone by the time I got there so this place must be really popular. I decided to try the butter pecan cupcake. The person behind the counter was very nice and the service was fast. It was SO delicious! The cake portion was moist and light, very flavorful. The icing was very light not too sweet at all. It was amazing. If you're in the area or shopping around for cupcakes, definitely consider Dolce Kupcakes. You'll be happy you did!

The outdoor signage was very appealing and cute. The inside looked clean and cute as well. We had an assortment of cupcakes. They were decorated nicely, with sprinkles and cake crumbles. Once we got home and tried them out, they were okay. Nothing over the top, a little bit dry, and the frosting had minimal flavor. I did appreciate that the frosting was not too sweet. Overall okay, nothing fabulous but also nothing bad to say. I did really enjoy the space.

The shop is cute, and I received a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in. I purchase an assortment of cupcakes. The cake was fresh, but the frosting was much lighter than I prefer. If you like the light texture, not too sweet, whipped frosting...this place is for you! The cupcakes were presented neatly, but there were not any sprinkles, decoration, or anything special, just cupcakes with light fluffy frosting.
