The wait was long but we were patient thinking it'd be worth it. Very first bite it already felt like disproportionately too much bread for a hot dog. Not only that, the bread was harder and tough like it was stale. My bread was just breaking off and cracking while I was holding it. We ended up not eating most of the bread because it wasn't worth it. The only thing good was the fries ..

Food Truck Wednesday is becoming a thing here at the Petco Support Center and we were happy to have this one! I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger, make it a combo? Heck yes! Friend of mine ordered the chili cheese fries, another colleague ordered the Mexican hot dog and a few others wanted a classic chili cheese dog... all ABSOLUTELY worth the wait in the sun. My burger was delicious and nothing was over greasy. Chili cheese fries had a perfect balance of chili and cheese. (I took one or two from my friend's plate )

Had an event at Indian Springs elementary school for Halloween and pre ordered the meal. Still had to wait over 40 minutes for just a burger and fry. Not worth it. Food wasn't ready, there was no point to pre ordering. They Seemed overwhelmed with zero contingency plan or explanation. Not sure what they were expecting. Very very very unpleasant experience.

Everyone is calling everyone a "dirty dawg" today at work, and that's not just Rupert up to his usual office shenanigans; it's because Dirty Dawgs and Fries is here! They have an amazing menu of hot dogs - but here's the thing: you can get ANY of the dogs made into a BURGER as well! I went with the Mac and cheese burger because I am both a child and a man, and I gotta say, in my post-wharf inhalation of the burger, before my nap, I am at peace. This food truck makes me want to be a better person and boss, mostly so I can get a better job. Hopefully at a place where Dirty Dawgs also comes to.

Had the "Boston Dawg", it was amazing, especially with the Cajun fries. It was worth the trip! I'm going back for sure

You have to wonder why some people get into the customer service business.... when they don't give a damn about you being there. The team that run this truck (presumably a husband and wife since there was a toddler sitting in the order window) are rude and could care less about acknowledging your presence. God forbid you ask them a simple question like "are you serving" just to be ignored. The dogs were decent (me the New York and my husband the Boston) with fries that were limp and greasy. It took about 20 min to get one dog and they forgot the other so, we had to wait another 10!In short,Dogs were decentFries wet notService suckedWait time ridiculous!Good luck to this business.... based on the rude behavior of the proprietors, we will never return.

My place is running a new theme "food truck Thursday ". This has been the best truck yet. Solid service, speed was good, the food was delicious. I'll vouch for the meatloaf mash sand, bac mac n cheese, and the dogs are tasty. I'd look for these guys again. Regrets- I didn't order a brownie.

AWKWARD.I was SO disappointed when I tried this truck at the Toys for Tot event at the Boardwalk on Bulverde.Firstly, I wasn't sure if the truck was open even though they had stated they would be. And after seeing a few people go up to the door, I went over to try it out. After standing there for two minutes waiting, a guy exits the truck (he was dressed like a chef, so I'm assuming he was the chef) and I said hi to him, he completely ignored me. And then when he went to open his window, he knocked over his whiteboard right onto my mother without apologizing. He picked it up off of her and proceeded on to open the window. WEIRD.Then, when I asked him if they were opening, he ignored me. So then I told my mom we needed to go try another truck since this one was OBVIOUSLY not open or interested in serving to us. He then responded and said they were open but certain items on their menu would take longer to make than others. My mom ordered just a plain old hot dog, nothing on it. It took 15 minutes.I'm sure since this was their first weekend open, they probably aren't used to making hot dogs at a fast speed or whatever. But the rudeness of the chef or whoever it was, was completely uncalled for and inappropriate.

Not only did I have a great first-time experience out at Boardwalk on Bulverde, I thoroughly enjoyed sampling a couple of different hot dogs from Dirty Dawgs. The German Dawg - just like the description says, this bacon-wrapped dawg is topped with heaping loads of delicious sauerkraut. The bacon was done perfectly, not all limp and just the right amount of crispiness. The Mexican Dawg - OMG Heaven in my mouth! This one was the tastiest one. How could you go wrong with a bacon-wrapped dawg complimented with beans, onions, tomatoes, guac, crema fresca, salsa verde, and cheddar cheese!?!?The Texas Chili Dawg - a classic, this one was topped with generous portions of chili and cheddar cheese. It would have been nice if the cheese had melted completely. Prices are about $6 to $7 per dawg, plus additional cost if adding extra toppings, plus more additional cost if adding fries. Until I have had a chance to try all of the food trucks at Boardwalk on Bulverde, so far this one is my favorite. Credit cards accepted.

Have you ever enjoyed the mixing of hot dogs, jalepenos and cilantro (and of course, cheese) in your mouth? If not, you HAVE to try it! I've lived all over so I am pretty knowledgable about hot dogs, so I'm a little hesitant to try their version of some of the more well-known hot dogs, but who has EVER heard of a Mexican hot dog? Well, I have, now, and I'm hooked! I loved the texture of the buns and the hot dog had just the right amount of jalepenos and cilantro. I sometimes find cilantro to be a little overwhelming, but I can always take the heat from a jalepeno. Both of these were just right. My mouth is watering for one right now!
