Dee Willie's BBQ

After hearing about this place, I decided to take a shot...First of all, I dove right into the "All You Can Eat" deal - just to try a little of everything. The two stars of this show were: the ribs and the turkey! For the AYCE, don't expect Original Blacks-level, but if you're a BIG EATER it is a steal at just under $30!Next, the sides. My favorite has to be their green beans and pinto beans. So, delicious, so full of taste and just perfectly seasoned! Don't get me wrong, the other sides were good as well, but these two are my top pick and easily two of the best beans I've ever had! Service was excellent and staff were very friendly! I would offer the establishment a recommendation of perhaps a bit more seasoning on the brisket (although moisture and tenderness were on point!) and possibly two more varieties of bbq sauces to offer (maybe a mustard-based and a spicy??).Otherwise, a great place, great staff and a great deal overall! Next time, I'm trying the dino ribs...stay tuned!

I went here at 3:30 pm yesterday and order a fully loaded baked potato with brisket, it was around 12 dollars for the price but it took 25 minutes too come out. As we got it, went back to the car, and opened it the potato looked very hard the brisket was just slightly on there, I used my fork and immediately noticed the potato was hard as rock and not ready, the brisket was good but lacked of flavor and there's no sour cream. I didn't care about the sour cream the it looked so bad we didn't even eat it. We tried to go inside to take it back but it was too packed inside so we left unsatisfied and threw it away. I wish I can talk to the manager and fix this since my mom is in a wheelchair and wanted to try something new.

If you loveee lean meat like I do you will love Dee Willie's! I am superrr picky and do not like fatty meat, and Dee Willie's lean brisket is chefs kiss for me! 9/10 times it's going to hit! The service and people are always so nice and the food always comes out quick! Also their buns are Hawaiian bread and always toasted! I wish they had another location closer to my house lol.

Great little spot on the south side. Apparently they have another spot somewhere. Price was reasonable. Brisket was eh. Turkey and sausage was really good. Cream corn and green beans were awesome. The bbq is really tasty. Definitely with a coat for the price. Wouldn't mind going back to try the Dino rib. Staff there were very nice and super fast. Would recommend.

We ordered all you can eat brisket baby back ribs and beans,baked potatoes salad and green beans. The meats had good flavor but somewhat dry. The beans ok. The baked potatoes salad good green beans also good and the sauce good too. Very attentive service pleasant waitress. Very quiet atmosphere some country music not loud.

I saw this place on TX Eats. Came for dinner and definitely was not disappointed. Brisket was finger tender, ribs finger tender. The green beans can become an addiction. The bbq sauce is simple & very flavorful.I can't post a picture because only bones were left on my plate. Come visit Dee Willie's!!!

Shame on me for never having been here before, this place is great! I'm all about supporting small businesses especially those on the south side. And I love when said business is worth my time and money. We went on a not so busy Friday afternoon but we do usually see the parking lot full. I had the 2 meat/2 side plate and we ordered a chopped sandwich and a 1/2lb brisket sandwich. They greet you at the door and you seat yourself. Our waitress was a sweetheart and made side suggestions as well as asked how we liked our brisket. Now let's talk about the food... so freaking good! The brisket is tender and flavorful. The sausage is delicious. The potato salad is creamy and not too mustardy. The Mac and cheese is creamy and subtle, not overly cheesy. The chopped sandwich is lean and the brisket sandwich is huge. Not only does this place get my 5 stars they get my continued support. I'll be back!

It's good, the service was great & ambiance is chill.. the food was ok... cream corn was a 6 out of 10. I probably won't come back. I must say the grape koolaid was on point.

In the south side of San Antonio and you walk into a country atmosphere with a smoked bbq fragrance. There were lots of cars in the parking lot but we were seated fast and our server Danielle quickly attended to us. We ordered a loaded baked potato with chopped brisket and baby back ribs. Then for dessert we got a pecan cobbler and a peach cobbler. The baked potato was soft and full of all the fixings and topped with a heaping serving of chopped brisket. The baby back ribs were tender and fell off the bones. The warm cobblers hit the spot after all that yummy food.

Highly disappointed! I walk in to order at 11am! 70% of the meats aren't available! I ask why not, "we don't receive our meats until later! Really! The meats aren't available before lunch! Really. This is all that I can eat BBQ restaurant! Not today it isn't! This is probably my last time coming to this place!
