Davila's BBQ

They had a booth at the Stock Show and Rodeo at the Frost Bank Center. We got there just in time before the line blew up.We got the smashburger at the recommendation of our friends. They have a single, double, or triple version. I got the double and added chili on mine which was an additional $1.50. The patties were super juicy and tender. It will warm you up inside especially since we were outdoors on the coldest, dreariest day of the year in San Antonio.Eat it quick because the grease will soak through the buns! I didn't think the chili added an additional dimension to it so didn't think that was worth it. But overall, would recommend!

I had Davilas at the rodeo and I was honestly excited to try it. I had heard good things and I'm a brisket lover so it was perfect to see them at the rodeoAfter spending $26 for 3 brisket tacos I knew rodeo prices and food truck prices raise up but that still feels very expensive. While waiting, two of the owners friends showed up and he immediately had the cook make them brisket tacos. I wait and waited. Then another set of friends came up and my tacos came out. The owner tossed the ticket aside and tried to give his friend my tacos. Thank god he didn't want them. However, he didn't know the ticket number now so I insisted they weee mine after waiting nearly 10 minutes. Bbq is already cooked!To top it off the brisket was not even warm. Extremely disappointed

These folk have been in business forever, and pitmaster Adrian has been featured on TV cooking programs.One thing they have regularly that is not available at all BBQ places is lamb; worth a try.They catered my birthday party with cabrito on a spit over an open fire. It made for a great experience and I recommend them.

This was a great find! I got the fried catfish plate and which was hot and delicious. The mac&cheese is the best I have had since moving to the area 6 years ago, and the cream corn was delicious. I love the vibe of the place. It has an old backyard BBQ feel with a family atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and the service was fast. I will add this place as a favorite.

I stopped in and got a variety of meats to go. I believe I may have met and spoken to the owner himself. Great guy! GREAT food. They've been around as long as me! If you're ever in Seguin, please stop in. They have burgers, catfish, shrimp, and a variety of family recipe sides - possibly the best potato salad I've ever had! Plus yummy looking desserts.

Mom saw Davila's on TV and wanted try it. She loved it but me and hubby felt it was ok compared to other bbq places in the San Marcos & surrounding areas. We had the ribs, Turkey leg, and brisket Grill cheese sandwich.

Went there today for a dessert. We had the big red cake. It was delicious. The drive thru was super fast and Mr Davila as usual was super nice. The cake did not make it home

Must try! Papa Davila - smoked potato, with brisket, cheese and sour cream! It's enough for 2 meals! As we were eating, a lady says this peach cobbler is amazing! Y'all check out Davilas BBQ!

I didn't care for the food at all. The sausage casing was so thick, my husband had to eat around it and the brisket was fatty was barely any flavor. The baked potato was decent.They mostly have picnic tables in their dining room so we got ours to go. It took a while to get our food even though it was all in front of us. After seeing it on Elder Eats, I was greatly disappointed.
