So I will preface this by saying that I am 100% open to upgrading the score on this review to a higher one if I catch them on a better day. This food truck came by my work on a semi-slow day where there weren't as many people in the office, and they did let us know it had been slow when we came out to purchase food. And to start with the positives - I love the food truck itself and the owners/operators were the nicest folks. The shrimp in my shrimp po boy was large, well-seasoned, and tasty; the sauce was excellent, but it was a lot of bread for not many pieces of shrimp, and I'm not sure if it's just because the prepped vegetables had say out for a longer time than usual because it was slow, but the vegetables were pretty wilted. Also, I heard good things about the boudin, but they were not serving boudin balls at lunch.I wasn't super excited about my lunch, but there were glimmering signs of potential for me to enjoy it a whole lot and I think I just came across this truck on an off day. I hope to eat their food again in the near future and be able to update with a better review once I catch them at the top of their game!

Had a chance to try this food truck . They happened to me at a Martin Luther King event so I ordered the shrimp Po boy with fries. And let me tell you that was the best Poboy I've ever had. The shrimp had flavor it had lettuce tomatoes everything and that sauce was fiyaaaa. Also the fries were fresh and seasoned. Wish they had a restaurant but I definitely would recommend to everyone. Plan on trying their other menu items too!

The food is good, but don't expect this business to follow through with catering. I booked this business for a large catering event a month in advance, and the day of, they claimed they didn't have their food truck, and couldn't meet the obligation. So, I had to scramble for our 100 people event to find someone to accommodate us. Though late, luckily a local business came through. The whole experience was completely unprofessional. If you need texts/"reciepts" for me to support my experience, i'll be happy to provide. If you're just going to hit up the food truck for a meal, you're fine, the food is decent, but don't go beyond that. I won't ever be a customer based on how we were treated as a large customer. Terrible. As a black woman, trying to support black businesses, it was not a good experience, sadly.

Best soul and Creole food since I left New Orleans.Fried boudin balls, handbreaded with remoulade sauce 4/$5. Fun fact: the lady here is the granddaughter of Ma Harpers, Creole Kitchen. They have an ongoing rivalry about who can cook best.I went to the new food truck Park on Austin Highway and all the trucks that have been there have been pretty good but this is absolutely the best truck that can be there. I do not know how she can pack so many items on her menu with that little bitty trailer. Everything has spice and flavor and is cooked to perfection. Look for this truck anywhere in town. You won't be sorry.

LARGE SHRIMP IN MY SANDWICH!This is not a drill, this is not another one of those situations where you order the shrimp version of a sandwich and hope for the best only to have your dreams shattered by a smattering of pathetic, pink little rings of rubber hidden in a forest of wilted lettuce and tomato masquerading as the shrimp you ordered. A sandwich serving only to disappoint and disillusion yet again. No mas. This PoBoy was filled to bursting with fat, succulent, perfectly dusted and fried crustaceans of a quality not often seen this far inland. Then there is the bread; a crispy, crackling fresh baked envelope to relay the delicious PoBoy filling. A humble French bread roll that somehow manages to be greater than the sum of its parts, it is that good. The side of dirty rice was a bit smallish which lost points with me but the sheer size of the flavor it conveyed more than added those points right back in. Boudin balls are a must try and if you don't know what that is don't google it, just try it. Think hush-puppy but made of a sausage without its casing then deep fried into a little taste of brilliance in every bite. Hope to try more offerings from this truck that elevates food truck Creole and delivers on this ambition. Datz It, Datz All.

I work in the Eilan near The Rim in San Antonio, TX. We've been getting various food trucks here for the past few months, all of which have been pretty good, but this... I ordered the shrimp poboy, and I have to say, I have not had one better in my entire life, from Florida to Alabama to Louisiana and Texas. NONE BETTER. The remoulade was amazing. The shrimp were fresh and fried perfectly. The bread was chewy and buttery, not flakey and bland. Do not pass up this truck if you see it. I only wish I could eat two poboys, the oyster would be next. Good job! Amazing!

This truck is so good it'll make you want to slap someone, but please don't. The po boys (short for poor boys? Which is funny because poor people probably can't afford it, #LOL!) are so incredible, they fall apart like the last season of Game of Thrones. You're gonna wanna (it's true 'cuz it rhymes) get the creole Mac and cheese as a side - or stand alone dish. It's better than the one your mom makes. Much better. Sorry moms!

Easy Dinner on a Friday movie night. The couple running this truck are very nice. I told them I can't do spicy food and they made sure to make our food exactly to order. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Go for the Boudin Balls! Phenomenal! They had a super light texture inside and crispy outside with lots of flavor - perfect. Nothing was greasy and everything had the perfect amount of creole seasoning! Shrimp Po and Fish Po! Next time - bring the gator bites!

Amazing food and awesome service. CREOLE MAC N CHEESE IS LIFE CHANGING! Paired that with a shrimp po boy I was in heaven. We also got a chicken po boy with creole mac n cheese and dirty rice and it was nothing short of DELICIOUS! The food is very reasonably priced and you get a ton of food with each order.
