Came in on a weekend for lunch at a place next door. Took about five minutes before someone noticed us due to their TV or radio being on. The bakery items taste pretty good and handmade, though I can't say they were the most amazing thing I've ever had. Prices were about $2-3 per item. I would go back if the location was more convenient, but there's really little parking due to it being next to a popular restaurant. I tried the concha and also a sweet potato empanada. A pro was that the food tasted fresh and not overly sweet.

My wife and I browse the antique shops in this area regularly, but we'd never spotted D J Bakery until yesterday--I'm really let down that it took us this long to spot this place! I love sweets, but had never been a big fan of pan dulce, but I was really impressed with what we ordered. We shared an iced lemon cookie and a Bavarian cream empanada, and both were phenomenal. Soft, sweet, fresh, everything I wanted. We'll be back ASAP!
