Cypress Grille

Service was great. The lamb chops were delicious, best I've ever had. Place was beautiful for New Year's dinner.

I made reservations here for my mother-in-law's 75th birthday, and it was our first time dining at this restaurant. We ordered the shank with creamy fettuccine. The pork was cooked to perfection--tender and flavorful. However, the pasta was quite bland and could have benefited from some seasoning or salt. The addition of sweet bell peppers did improve the taste slightly.My husband had the burger, which he described as fine but nothing special. On the other hand, the calamari and ahi tuna we ordered as appetizers were excellent.The service was average. We had to request a refill for our Arnold Palmer, which should have been more attentive.

We always love grabbing lunch at Cypress Grille. The waitstaff is always friendly and quite attentive with out being bothersome. The atmosphere is usually pretty loud, but the decor is very inviting and we usually ask to sit closer to the kitchen where there are fewer tables. Highly recommend our favorite, Crispy Calamari. The Daily Panini is nice as well. Excellent wine list and the desserts are fabulous! Highly recommend this restaurant. Check out their daily specials.

Hubby took me on a lunch date into Boerne proper. Greeted warmly, seated quickly, server came by to take our order. Delicious fresh little rolls served with olive oil! Ordered the chicken sandwich and brisket grilled cheese along with the caprese salad. To top it off I got the key lime pie! Everything was delicious! It was seriously the best grilled chicken sandwich I've ever had! Definitely going back!

Pot pie Thursdays are the best! They have the best pot pie I have ever eaten! It is clean and the service is great!

Cypress Grille has a little bit of everything on the menu and a great wine selection. The prices of both food and alcohol have increased dramatically while the quality of food has not improved to warrant the price point. The tomato and artichoke dip was very tasty! Having the special bolognese pasta at $48 a plate, it was average at best. The veal schnitzel was a new addition to the menu and it was underwhelming as well. The sauce used on the schnitzel was closer to a basic marinara spaghetti sauce. The beef tenderloin wasn't anything special. The side options were much more enjoyable, try the truffle mac and cheese! The desserts are all made in house including ice creams. We will try again later in the year to see if adjustments have been made

For years we have ordered their delicious Steak Diane. They recently took it off the menu for beef tips in a tomato sauce...,yuk . When I asked the server why they changed, we were told it was easier. This is supposed be one of the higher end restaurants in Boerne and people are willing to pay $45.00+ for the Steak Diane, so why remove such a popular item and replace it with an inferior one?Sorry to say, but Cypress Grill is now near the bottom of our's and several friends list for dinner.I hope they wake up and stop the laziness. They have served it for years!Waiting to hear it is returning....

Great food. But they didn't honor our reservation. Didn't even pretend or check the list. Simply took our first name and put us at the end of the waiting list.
