Very good curry, unique dishes with the bbq style meat. We got the Tony Porker and Magic mushroom, which were both delicious. Generous portion, I actually had the left overs the next day and they were still awesome! I have not tried the original location but I would love to go! We also got our food to go this time, but I would love to try the food there. Cute little shop with funky decor. They have a kids menu also, we got the chicken with rice for the kids.

Between my partner and I we are at a 3.5 so I'll round up. Curry boys: 3/5We got the brisket and chicken bowls with curry chips & queso on the side, the meat was nice and smoky and the queso was delicious (but not very curry-y), and the curries in the bowls were not very flavorful and pretty watery. The portions are pretty big and I really really enjoyed the chili crisp (they need to bottle that and sell it). The queso was such a miss would not recommend.

Fantastic! I've never been to the original location, so I can't compare it to that, but I loved the aesthetic of this spot. Keeping the pink spirit alive, the shop is trimmed in pink, and has a line of glass cases filled with dolls, books, and western decor. The menus are easy to find, and the staff is super sweet.I picked up one of my ol' faithfuls: The Tony Porker. I don't know if it's because we dined inside, but the servings are ginormous compared to when I have them delivered! Everything else though is perfectly consistent, down to the two baby carrots and two slices of potatoes in the curry bowl. My sister ordered the Thai Green Salad (with smoked chicken) and my brother in law had the Good Luck Cluck. We all left very full and satisfied! But wait, there's more! They also recently started selling Dorp Creamery ice cream in Ube and Thai Tea flavors! I ordered an Ube ice cream and it was delightfully sweet and earthy. My sister's only critique was if the salad had edamame in it, it would have been perfect. No critiques from my brother in law or me, though. In fact, my BIL got a side of the chili oil and he absolutely loved it.I'm not sure which location is closer to me - they're both a good distance, but regardless, Curry Boys is always worth the trip. If you like Texas and Thai fusion, you need to try them. They are a match made in heaven. What blows my mind is that it's not just Texas BBQ, it's GREAT Texas BBQ. The meat is smokey and flavorful, and it pairs beautifully with the curries. The rice perfectly absorbs everything, leaving nothing tasting bland or boring. Also, they're amazingly consistent. Doesn't matter which location you go to, you're guaranteed an excellent meal.

Visited curry boys bbq for the first time today, upon entrance the staff was immediately helpful and friendly. They helped explain the menu and the alterations that can be made to menu items. The food came out in about ten minutes, and everything was delicious. I chose the "The Tony Porker" my only wish is that I had also gotten some sides with my order, because I would have loved to try them. Hopefully on my next visit

First time coming to this spot and it a small little restaurant. There is a good variety to pick from. As soon as you walk in you can smell the bbq. Unfortunately I do not eat red meat, but chicken was available. The flavor was great. The bowl was filling.

Been craving some curry and found this spot. A bbq and curry fusion. I prefer green curry so I got the brisket smoke show. There were 2-3 pieces of brisket I can't remember they were very tender falling apart. Some potatoes and carrots as well with a big portion of rice. There was some good spice thought it could have had a little more flavor. Customer service was good. You order. I sat down she brought me my food. Didn't quite hit the spot I was wanting but I'll probs be back again.

This place is absolutely perfect! I am so happy that we have this one so close! We were at the other location at least once or twice a month. We started going when it was still in the original tiny pink place. I think we've tried pretty much everything but our go to is still the Good Luck Cluck. It's really hard to beat the flavor! Everything is cooked perfectly. Staff is absolutely fabulous and the food comes out fast! Each bowl usually will be enough for three meals for us. Try everything though. The corn is a favorite as well as the noodles. I'll see ya there!

The food was hit, let's start with that. I got the Tony Porker. The meat was so soft and juicy and had plenty of flavor, the rice was fresh. You can tell the food had not been sitting and was made with flavor in mind. The location is cool also because they have three tv's. I will recommend to my friends and family

@curryboysbbq Stone Oak opened recently and we thought to check it out tonight. Like the downtown location, you order at the counter, take a number, and serve at your table.Dad had Lemonade, Hubby had Coconut Juice, and I had draft Modelo. Dad and I shared the Brisket Smoke Show, which had some heat with the green curry. Hubby had the Good Luck Cluck, which was chicken with green curry. We all enjoyed the same great food, now in a new location. It was good to see the crowd visiting on a Tuesday. After dinner, we walked down the plaza to @lamichoacanahmis for some ice cream. We had the Strawberry and Cappuccino flavors. Hit the spot! So yummy!

They dont mess with the SPICE! (Chili oil noodles)FoodCurry chicken sandwich (4.5 / 5)The chicken tasted fresh(not stringy) and meaty filled with creamy curry sauce with onions and other seasonings. It was a great combination with the toasted bread kinda like a THICC tuna sandwich without the fishyness lol.The meal came with a side as well.Cold chili oil noodles 3.5/5It is SPICY! they drench the chili oil in the bottom and then top it off with another medium mountain of chilis (which i removed lol) . It didnt have much flavor other than spice...i think some soy sauce to add more depth would be good! ServiceFriendly and chill. We were celebrating a friends birthday and they came to sing along so good service and vibes!I also tried their brisket and rice. 3/5. Mid. Alright. Overall 4/5. Would I go out of my way to go here again..probably not but its a fun concept to mix western with asian cuisine!
