Culebra Super Meat Market

The barbacoa was delicious not greasy at all very very tasty. We were in & out the price was excellent. We normally go to another place down the street but since they were closed we got so lucky to try this place.

I feel like im a child again, I use to eat most of not all of the items in this store as a kid with my dad and his family. I absolutely love that this place is near me on Nacogdoches! My Dominican/Puerto Rican gf fell in love with the Goya freezer section lmao I'm gonna come here to do all if not most of my shopping from now on, Sorry HEB no hard feelings.

They did not seem to have what I was looking for (meat to have sliced to make jerky). I mean they could have but no one was really around to help. No one at the meat counter at the meat market. However their Carnitas Tacos were fantastic. Sitting in red sauce (green if you prefer). Just a bit of heat. Yummy and great price.

Clean place thought prices kind of high for some items. Only one lane to check out. People were friendly.

Great prices on Meat! Got 3lbs of ground beef for 4.99! Got chicken breast for 1.89 a pound! It has stuff most grocery doesn't have when it comes to meat. The hours weren't posted either so here ya go!

So much variety of fresh meat for amazing prices! I purchase raw meats for my dog who is on a vet approved raw diet, and I feel good being able to support a local supermarket while still saving money.The butchers and staff are very friendly and helpful - I feel very comfortable asking questions and the counter itself is very clean. They package your meats in plastic, then wrapped in butcher paper so it feels like premium service.I will be a regular here from now on! :)

I really like coming to this Culebra meat market. I have been to a lot of Culebra meat markets and this one really stands out. Not a lot of them have nice fresh meat, look clean, or have a lot to choose from but here they do. I especially love coming on a Sunday morning to get some Barbacoa and big red with some tamales and homemade tortillas. They have a nice Barbacoa special that includes some beans, hot sauce, a soda, and tortilla's. I would recommend giving it a try. It is delicious. Here they also have some good sweets, an area where you can order some fresh tacos and see them cooking them as well which I like. They also have some Mexican candy, vegetables, and a little cookware. The service is always good and the wait is never too long. Great job Culebra Meat Market!

Bought 4 tacos de tripas, got really old re-heated tripas!! Also bought a taco of chicharon con carne it was just as bad!! $30 for 5 TRASH tacos, how are y'all even in bussiness??? I guess since it was a to-go order, customers won't realize what they get until they're gone! I do not recommend, and I had such high hopes! Nasty AF! Only ate the TORTILLA and tossed them in the trash! I do not recomend.

Good ground beef and T-Bone steaks. And you can sometimes actually find habanero peppers there. Sometimes...
