Rating a 4 only because my family and I always get the barbacoa and it is always delicious. Today, we decided to purchase some pan dulce and it was the most depressing thing ever. Empanadas looked full and delicious but it was just puffed up bread with a very thin layer of filling. So deceiving. So sad. #depressed

Excellent weekend Barbacoa- did not like their corn tortillas - to thick and extras get hard.

Even when Walmart and H-E-B were low on meat due to the scare of Covid-19 the Culebra Meat Market was stocked up and serving the public. Very dependable, thank you Culebra Meat Market!

I just moved to this area of town and I really enjoyed the Culebra meat market. My son loves getting the candy there and I love the selection of meats that they have. I also enjoy the fact that they also have marinated meats so that you can grab some fajita meat, taco meat you can also grab some short ribs that are also marinated, some chicken and a very wide selection and for the price it was really good. I'm glad they are located a few miles down from where I live and they always seem to provide great customer service. They have a small produce section as well which has some good selections.

Great meat market! Large selection of Mexican products. Also, they had perfect avocados ready to eat! I will be back. & Yeah it is a busy street.

Can't find that thick juicy steak to drop on the grill? This is the place to come. A wide selection of different meat choices: beef, pork, poultry & fish. Good prices and your typical Culebra meat market. Getting in & out to FM 1957 is another story.

Pathetic....I went to buy a couple items and decided to look at their meat. I have been a customer at this location for over four years. NOT anymore! I saw they had some really nice T-Bone steaks. I wanted four with a nice tenderloin. On top there were three steaks. One with the tenderloin the other two without. I asked for the "employee" to look on the next two rows for the steaks I wanted. He found two more on the next row and refused to look any further. I asked three times and he refused. I guess it was too much work for him. To bad! I was about to buy some ribs, top sirloins, pork, and chicken. Easily $200 in business. Here's a note to the owner, Potranco is under major construction. You should educate yourself an your employees about customer service if you want to stay in business. I will never spend another penny in your location and I will let all my friends know how I was treated at your location as well. Good luck staying in business, especially with Wal-Mart and HEB just down the road.

It's my go to meat market for parties and last minute dinner for out of town guests. Hot sauces sweet bread, in house made tortillas are spot on.

We're from California so we've desperately been trying to find carne asada to grill like we used to back home. This place is close to home so we were excited to check it out. Unfortunately all you taste in their asada is the nasty food coloring they use to give the meat it's color. It has absolutely no flavor. The short ribs weren't as bad but the quality is definitely lacking. Their prices weren't extremely high which is a good thing. I just wish the actual product was better.
