Cristan's Tacos

Delicious breakfast tacos. Their homemade, fluffy tortillas make such a difference! And the waiters are professional and friendly.

A colleague recommended Cristan's so I decided today was the day. This business doesn't stay open all day and breakfast items dominate the menu. I tried three tacos and their refried beans.Ordered:Chorizo and EggPotato and EggPicadilloRefried BeansThis style of Mexican food reminds me of deep South Texas. The flavors are muted and the dishes are denser. Thick flour tortillas, beans full of manteca, and wet chorizo. It's all great.Beware. This business adds 3% when paying with a card.

I love this place!!!! The food is incredible & the atmosphere of old school diner is so so cute!! Please come try this place for a delicious meal with great service!!!

I've been on a breakfast taco tirade lately because I'm not happy with some of my faves, such as Cristan's. My family has been loyal to Cristan's for years but the quality isn't the same anymore. I get everything is more expensive these days but with the higher prices, I expect the same quality, not poorer quality with smaller portions at a higher price while I pay a convenience fee just for using my card. Cristan's has let me down too many times now and I'm frustrated about it. I'll leave them with a 3 because they still have good service, the food is good, and I know their potential.

Health score is awesome at 100, homemade tortillas. Great unsweetened ice tea. Bean & cheese nachos looked like a child put together, salsa for the chips & salsa was also made for a child's palate but the green sauce had a big kick at the opposite end of the spectrum! No charro beans, cheese enchiladas also had no flavor. Was really looking forward to trying this place since it came so highly recommended, but the consensus was that we probably won't venture over here again, when there are places so much closer to us that rate high on everything that this place failed on as well! Sorry, we really wanted to like it...

My absolute favorite Tex-Mex breakfast spot on the Northeast side of San Antonio! Fresh, hot, fluffy flour tortillas!! Service is fast and friendly, with the down home vibes that I love about coming home. Everything is great here but I usually get the huevos rancheros with potatoes, beans and bacon. Breakfast is served all day! I also love their carne guisada tacos and homemade (obvs) salsas!

I've been coming to this location since I was a little girl and before that my parents also ate here in their youth. I can confidently say they have been serving the same delicious food for over 30 years! They're my go to for breakfast tacos and they have some of the best carne guisada in town. Also their flour tortillas!!!! So soft, fluffy, and flavorful! As far as I can remember, they've always had the cute and welcoming pink and purple decor and it just feels like home every time I step in there. The staff is amazing as well, incredibly friendly, great communicators, and incredibly speedy service. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a taste of San Antonio. They do it so well!

I'm from Orange County, CA and every time I visit family in San Antonio, I make it a point to come here. This is the best breakfast taco spot in all of Texas!My favorite tacos are the chorizo and egg, chilaquiles, and potato and egg. On weekends I like the pork barbacoa tacos. Sometimes I'll get a breakfast plate. It's a very straightforward neighborhood feel to it. Great place and one of my go-to's in Bexar county.

Visit this establishment. Great food great ambience, great service great sauces. Great food. The Puffy Tacos are off the chain. Prices are very good. Very very clean. The weight staff was tremendous would definitely go back and would definitely give it a five star.

I've been coming here for over 20 years! It's my favorite breakfast tacos in San Antonio. The food comes out quick and very decently priced, not to mention absolutely delicious! The staff knows your name and is personable and so nice. This is the first place I bring my friends and family when they visit. This place will always hold a special place in my heart!
