Crispy Fried Chicken

Good good good. Did I mention good? Very good actually. Delicious. This little food truck is servicing up delicious fried chicken in large portions. They're very friendly and answer any questions. There are many ways to try your chicken on the menu. Bone in pieces(except the breast which is a large boneless piece), tenders, sandwiches. And today being Friday they had fish. I tried the bone in pieces, fries, and the fish. All very good seasoned well. Good flavor. And fried to perfection. I will say if you get the whole pieces and get the breast eat it first. It got a little dry as I waited to eat it last. Fries are very good. The biscuits are killer. My son had a the reggae sandwich I believe it was called and he inhaled it. Another good thing is you can eat in the big hops. So even though it's a hundred degrees outside you can enjoy your food inside. And they bring it to you from the truck. So awesome. I'm definitely going back. Pure deliciousness

Quite honestly, this is the best fried chicken I've had in SA. We specifically went to Big Hops on Wednesday for the chicken (the beers were a bonus)! Crispy, not greasy, flavorful and juicy, the chicken also reheats wonderfully. I even reheated in a microwave and the skin was still crispy and not soggy. The mac and cheese is delicious, too, as are the biscuits! Service is always A-plus - you can tell that the owner loves what he does! It comes across in the food! Definitely a new favorite for me!!

I cannot say enough great things!! Fantastic food, even the cauliflower was amazing!! It was seasoned well, hot, and CRISPY! Definitely will have that again. And those biscuits are heaven! Fluffy, sweet, with a hint of salt. They taste caramelized. My favorite so far though is that fried chicken!! So crisp and juicy!! My favorite I have had and that says something!! I love chicken!

Always so very welcoming and timely with the orders not to mention the fantastic phenomenal food. Used to go there all the time with my buddy but I think they relocated. Still gonna try and find where they set up shop next though.

This guy!!! Chris was closed but me and the kids and the dog drove almost an hour to get his chicken. He opened back up just to serve us!! Can you believe that! Amazing. This chicken is so good and the owner is a doll. THROW MONEY AT HIM HONEY CHILD! THROW IT!!

Best fried chicken I've ever had! The crunch on that chicken is insane! The sides need a little tweaking but this place is about the chicken. Don't even get me started on how amazing that biscuit is!

Great causal chicken place! They fry the chicken nice and crispy! Superbly seasoned. The owner came out to check on us and brought some of their spicy may - very nice! We had street corn salad and spicy mac and cheese as sides. The salad was refreshingly different - like traditional street corn, but cool and not overly spicy from the jalapenos. The map makes it look like this food truck is in front of Big Hops, nope. Go around the back side and find a nice pavilion with about 10 tables. It is tucked away from view!Only open Tuesday and Friday - so you need to plan ahead! Delicious food and delightful family - named for owner "Chris P." (Nice play on words!) We will be back soon!

I keep coming back for more! The chicken sandwich are amazing! I keep going between the Raja Brah and the Kimchi Bangin. They have so much flavor and of course the chicken is always cooked to perfection. BUT THEN TODAY...my husband ordered the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner and I tried the thigh and breast. OH EM GEEE! I guess I'll have to come back again. They were amazing. Tender, juicy and with a crispy flavorful outside. Mind blowingly good. Their fries are always crispy, the corn is delish, the crazy Mac is a favorite, oh and the broccoli! I am basically slowly eating may way through this menu. This is our go to place for fried chicken. Best in San Antonio!And the service! The owner is super friendly and a chill down to earth guy. You can tell he loves what he's doing and LOVES fried chicken. This place is an ABSOLUTE must food truck to add to your lineup if you like mouthwatering flavorful food!!

The is the best fried chicken I've had in San Antonio. It always tastes fresh, crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We eat from here a few times a month. Wish it was closer to my area, but definitely worth the drive and still delicious and fresh when I get it home.

I wanted something healthy to eat and they created a fantastic grilled chicken salad that included spinach, carrots, purple onions, kimchi, and the tastiest dressing ever. And the ingredients were fresh and colorful. I have had their chicken tenders in the past and they were some of the best I've ever had. Tender and juicy and incredibly tasty! I highly recommend you try their food. Service was excellent too!!!
