Cowgirls Cafe

Tried this place for the first time and it was pretty good. I tried the carne guisada tacos and they had good flavor. The tortillas were fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was nice. Kind of like an old saloon. The staff was friendly and very quick. Definitely recommend trying this place

I started working down the street again. This place has always been consistent. They also have the best FLUFFIEST tortillas around SA. I pick up orders of tacos for my coworkers atleast once a week. They were pretty slow today so food came out pretty quickly. Waitress needed to stop by a few more times to check on me. Today I had a bad experience with the crispy taco. They first brought it out with 90% potato and less than a tablespoon of ground beef. I had to send it back. Then the store bought shell was stale. I was not a fan of their rice either. Met some friends today for brunch at Cowgirls Cafe. Really nice and clean, and our waitress was spot on as far as service goes. We like meeting at different places every month and we will for sure be going back!

Food is good but breakfast tacos could use more filling . Nice big homemade flour tortillas but little bit of filling so your eating more tortilla then tasting what is inside

Driven past this place hundreds of times. Never stopped in, then covid hit, but I would make it over there now if I was y'all!I dropped in to snag some breakfast after having seen several cars there. Great cup of coffee, super hot! I had the Huevos Rancheros with a Pork Chop. It was outstanding! The Ranchera was a little spicy which was awesome. And the pork chop was seasoned so good I wanted gnaw on the bone. Everything was great and service was kind and attentive. I'll be back with friends for sure. Thanks for being open and serving wonderful food!! No pic, I was starving sorry.

The place is small but the breakfast tacos are large, homemade and delicious. On my way to east TX and searching for great breakfast and this stood out because of the name. Didn't want the standard or what's common. Met a regular customer outside and he told me I made a great choice and will not be disappointed. I was not. Had the b-fast tacos: Chicharron with Egg and Chorizo with egg. To wash it down I had the homemade lemonade. DELICIOUS. If ever passing thru, stop in and enjoy Cowgirls Cafe. The place has a country feel, and I know it will make any cowgirl, cowboy, local or passing thru friends happy with the food and service.

Nice people, clean restaurant & bathroom! Tacos were good. Waitstaff attentive & polite. Give it a shot!
