Conversa Elevated

This was my first time visiting Conversa Elevated and I think I might need to attend on a different day/time. I think I hyped it up a little too much in my mind, from what I've seen online. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice venue to get cute and go have drinks and a bite to eat, but I imagined it giving more than what it did.The bartenders knew their stuff. Cocktails were tasty. The food? I could have done without. Everything looked good, but there just wasn't enough flavor for me.I'm willing to give this place another try though, because I feel like it was just an off day. Until we meet again!

We came here on a Saturday about a week after they opened. It's located in a large, new building that has a lot of openings for more businesses. There is a large parking lot behind the building. We went to the first floor, but there is a second floor that has a dress code and requires reservations. We came right when they opened for the day, so it was pretty quiet. It is mainly a cocktail bar, but they also have a small food menu. We got the deviled eggs, pork ribs, and sliders. Things came out as they were ready and each dish had three pieces. The food was amazing and beautifully presented.

This is a nice place to go prior to a late night dinner or after a night out. The establishment is beautiful and classy. It definitely gives a "grown and sexy" vibe It is important to note that there is a dress code. I highly recommend the pork ribs. The meat was so tender that it fell off the bone. The staff was extremely professional and pleasant. The only thing we noticed was the menu leans heavily on citrus flavors which after a while seemed a bit much.

I was excited to visit Conversa for a mid week happy hour with the girls. Upon entering the staff offered a welcoming greeting and showed us upstairs. The space was immaculately clean and upholstered furniture was elegantly stylish but overall the decor was stark and industrial. The highlights of the visit were the very attentive and friendly hostess and server, and the cocktails were delish. We were also offered a complimentary champagne toast which was a nice touch. However I was very hungry at the end of a long day and was soooo disappointed in the shrimp yakitori. The shrimp were mushy and room temperature. I tried it but couldn't eat it. And although it was removed from the bill no alternative was offered. There was another complimentary appetizer offered (see photo) which I also didn't care for. My friend ordered the sliders which she enjoyed and I had food envy. I wish they had some noshing type of snacks or charcuterie would be nice. I was also expecting a more intimate vibe, perhaps closing the curtains or having some twinkling lights on the patio. The music was a mix of 1970-1990s pop songs which while nostalgic didn't seem appropriate for the vibe. My personal preference for this type of bar would be the Moons Daughter or One Watson but if you're looking for a far North location it's worth a try.

I was almost hesitant to provide a review because this lovely place is so close to where I live. However, I do want them to thrive! The staff was welcoming, and it was a well-designed environment with plentiful dedicated parking. The cocktail menu is divine, and I look forward to exploring more of that menu. Also, the bites are high quality and beautifully presented. My only recommendation is that although everything we tried was delicious, I encourage them to consider varying the taste profiles a little since many items were citrus-forward.

Beautiful establishment. I can appreciate their dress code requirement for up and downstairs. The service was pretty good too, everyone was kind and friendly. Drinks were really good! However, I took two stars away for the food because it wasn't anything special. The options are decent and I think everyone can find something they'll like, however, the flavors weren't robust enough for our palate to order anything again, however, I would definitely return for the drinks.

I came with a group of 9 on a Saturday night. The staff and hostess were all so stylish and well put together. We had a table downstairs and ordered nearly every item off the tasting menu to share.The cocktail menu was fun, and the small plate menu featured a great variety of foods and many with fun and different dipping sauces. The service was perfect for our needs.The wine program unfortunately was not yet set up so I think there were only 3 wine options which was a little disappointing but probably just another reason to go back.

I stumbled upon this spot and it's exactly what I've been looking for in the area - a legit high-end vibe. I've found my new go-to place.The service is great, and the bartenders whip up some seriously delicious craft cocktails! If you're after excellent cocktails, mouthwatering food, and a vibe that's elevated yet unpretentious, this is your spot.Bonus points for the ample patio space on the first floor and even more balcony space on the second. It's two stories of pure entertainment!

The drinks are a bit expensive here but they were good. The pistachio cocktail wasn't my favorite of the drinks we had
