Con Huevos Tacos

This place is a gem! Came here on a Sunday around lunch time and even though there were a good number of people in front of us and we had a big order, our food still came out pretty quickly (around 20 minutes).The person taking our order was also so patient with our large order and was very friendly.This restaurant is all outdoors so make sure you wear some layers when it's cold outside! The benches and tables are all decorated with vibrant colors and the artwork around the ordering area was such a vibe. I ended up ordering the michelada (with topo chico), Carne Guisada, Sonia, and the Vick (all corn tortilla).Michelada- this was such a refreshing way to start lunch and I love how the drink came with pickles and olivesAll three tacos were fantastic- my favorite one was the carne guisada. The beef was tender, juicy, and super flavorful. For all three tacos, it was packed with protein and the toppings (including the salsas) tied everything together so well.Looking forward to coming back here and trying all the other tacos on the menu!

I ordered tacos for Delivery. They were all amazing! My favorite was the Carmen followed by the Chilaquiles taco.Delivery was very quick! And the food was still warm. Will definitely order from here again.

Finding myself on the eastside around lunchtime I decided to stop in and try Con Huevos after hearing so many good things about it and I'm glad I did. The restaurant is small and is on a corner lot with a loose gravel parking lot. As you walk up there are large menus on the outside of the building and when you are ready you can place your order at the window. All the seating is outdoor. I order the Fideo loco bowl and the Elida taco. I didn't take long for them to call my order and so I pick up, sit down and begin to feast. The fideo loco (picadillo/beans/fideo) is really savory and seasoned well. So well that I slurp up all the broth left over at the end. It comes with corn tortillas that tasted fresh out of the molino, love it. My only complaint is the that I wish the serving size was larger. Lastly, I dig into the Elida taco (carne guisada with bean and cheese) and a big smile come across my face. The meat is soft and tender, the seasoning is on point as are the beans and the cheese just made everything even better. Overall, I really enjoyed the food here and can't wait to come back and try their breakfast tacos.

Stopped by to try out the tacos and was happy that the food was pretty good. We had the Carmen, Vicki and a carne guisada. Our tacos came out about 5 minutes after ordering even though there were a lot of people who had ordered. The seating is outside so check the weather before you go by or get your tacos to go. I would have left five stars had the tortillas not been a bit gummy and hard to bite through.

We did a pick up order and seemed liked many did the same. Everything we ordered was delicious and the salsa's were very good. Very spicy but flavorful. I will say they took forever and we did an online order for pick up just know they adhere exactly to the time it says. We ordered 6 tacos and took about 30-35 minutes. Maybe I'm just nitpicking, guess for tacos typically 15 minutes. But the wait won't stop me from going again. Heck we may go again next weekend. :) and they do have a great outdoor space, we may eat there next time instead of picking up.

I'm not generally one to care about trends, but to be honest, ever since watching Taco Chronicles on Netflix, I've wanted to eat here. I was so excited to finally get the chance to visit this morning!! It was everything I had hoped for & more. The service was great & every taco we ordered was muy delicioso!! My daughter ordered the agua fresca and said it was one of the best she's ever had! We enjoyed ourselves sitting in the patio area enjoying the sunshine & "backyard" feel. In San Antonio, there are a lot of places to get breakfast tacos, and I would highly suggest you make Con Huevos Tacos your first stop!!

Deliciousssss, so so good! Came here for some breakfast tacos and coffee with my best friend. Outdoor seating was nice with the weather, tacos were phenomenal. Service was excellent. Will definitely return!

Had some of the breakfast tacos. Pretty decent! Hot sauces were really good. But living outside of downtown I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Nothing mindblowing

Forgot to review the first time. But this second time was even better. Honestly I love the tortillas they're on the thinner side and have a satisfying amount of elasticity to it. Not sure that's the right way to describe it but imagine the consistency of biting into fresh bagel. I got the Irma and the Sonia. Both were great and the flavors were well balanced. You order at the window and find a seat in the cute outdoor area. Matt was bringing out orders and was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely come here again.

Fresh and delicious! Verde sauce had great flavor. Both the shredded beef and pork were tender and juicy.
