After looking for a great coffee and finding a lot of misses - we stumbled upon this place. This place is SO good we went two days in a row and decided we didn't need to explore more coffee places. It has indoor and outdoor seating, a wheelchair ramp in the back and accessible bathrooms with the entrance on the patio. We ordered crepes, croissant sandwiches, some of their pastries, a latte and a London fog. The workers were super friendly and sociable, remembered us from the day before, helped open the doors for me since I'm on crutches after surgery the week before, and overall were so sweet.

I visited this brunch spot on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn't too busy. We placed our order quickly and received our food in no time. I had the French omelette with ham and bacon. The flavor was unique--smoky, almost reminiscent of barbecue, though it wasn't, which was a bit confusing (but not in a bad way). The potatoes and bread were a nice addition to the meal. The highlight, though, was definitely the coffee. I ordered a hot lavender and honey latte, half sweet, and it was absolutely delicious. My partner also enjoyed his food. While I wouldn't call this the best breakfast/brunch spot I've ever been to, it was far from bad. The place itself is adorable, but one downside is that there's no heat inside. With the current cold weather, I was freezing the whole time. That said, I'll definitely return for the coffee and to try more of their bakery items!

We clearly caught them "off their game" this morning. With all the great experiences here, let me just focus on one poor item - the avocado toast. The bread was so tough that it was extremely hard to cut. It was only lightly toasted & not buttered (butter would have eased issue #1). The avo was not seasoned (just a dash of salt is all I expect). Finally, the smoked salmon was one, long bit (and honestly a scant portion for $4).Okay, the cappuccino was delicious, but I fear they were behind schedule this more as no baked goods were in the case and it felt like they were scrambling. It's still a fantastic hideaway, and we will continue our patronage of such a great establishment. It was just "two thumbs down" on the avo toast.

I don't come here enough. I really like their chicken salad. It has pickle juice that makes my mouth water. It's a refreshing place to chill and get out of the hot sun. The decor is really nice but the tables are close together so you will hear other conversations. Staff can be friendly or more reserved. Order at the counter and find a spot to sit. They will bring your food to you.

The food was amazing! Flaky golden croissant and the cherries in the yogurt were so good! The lavender latte I ordered was also flavorful. The staff was very friendly and helpful for an early morning. Difficult to park- you either have to park on the side of a tiny street, across a large street or in a parking garage and pay. The outdoor area was nice, although the metal seats could use some love and cushion

A super lovely cafe that my friend and I found during our stay in San Antonio! It's located right by the conference center and has plenty to offer from drinks to cafe food (sandwiches, pastries, salads). The servers are friendly and easy to talk to, and they have great recommendations! It's also a great spot to do work at! We came several times during our conference and enjoyed it each time!

We opted for this CommonWealth location (at Hemisfair) since it's a short walk to the Convention Center. We dropped in for coffee and a light breakfast... and what a treat! As soon as you walk into this historic house-turned-coffee shop, you're greeted with the comforting aroma of butter and baked goods. (But mainly the smell of straight up butter.)Order your coffee drinks, French pastries, and breakfast at the counter, and find seating inside the house or on the back patio. I had the avocado toast ("Love Island" has me craving and eating this on the daily). You can add salmon or eggs atop your avo-toastie. They have signature latte flavors, which I opted for the "Sin Nombre" (it's a mix of their other signature flavors) with almond milk. The baked oatmeal, vanilla yogurt parfait, and french omelete (sans french bread), lunch soups, and lunch salads are the only GF food items, btw. No GF bread. Also, none of us could connect to their promoted guest wifi.

Great location to enjoy your Commonwealth Coffee. We enjoyed some coffee and pastries after taking in a matinee at the Magik Theater across the park.We walked in, they took our order and got it to us pretty quickly. It can get a little crowded between the order and the pickup at this location as its in a hallway, but they get you in pretty quick. If you have something they have to craft, like a drink or a breakfast, you will get a placard and can wait indoors or outdoors while you wait.On a morning like today, it was nice to be able to sit and enjoy your coffee and have a chat about the show. The kids enjoyed their chocolate croissant and blueberry cream cheese pastry croissant. It was great - I would return there for a morning bite. The coffee was good, too. I enjoyed a nitro cold brew (no ice), and Liz enjoyed her 8-oz capuccino. We will come back.
