Comfort Pizza

The best pizza in the hill country if not TX. Don't make the mistake of just showing up and thinking you will get a pizza. You must reserve your sourdough crust bc they WILL sell out on weekends and holidays. And beautiful spring and fall days. So don't risk it. We have never had a bad pizza or experience. Primo, Sai cheese, Bubba and Cali Club are our top favorites. Great kid and pet friendly area to hang outThe staff are so friendly and the owners are good people. I needed to feed 3 guys who wanted pizza for lunch. Comfort, TX has a limited amount of restaurants but for pizza, they have one that was recommended by a friend. It's aptly named Comfort Pizza. They have plenty of pizza in the menu and lots of wine choices. My guess is, they cater to a lunch crowd or tourists passing through town. The pizza was good - not great - may be because I had to drive 10 minutes to take it to the guys working at my place. I personally think that pizza should be eaten after it is cooked and served. Service was average - order the food and then wait for it. I should have called ahead of time to order it and pick it up. There's lots of outdoor sitting but no inside tables. The ambiance is definitely country style with a little bit of young vibe thrown in. If I came back here, it's probably to eat outside and enjoy the fresh air. It's not a bad looking place at all!

Hit or miss with this place. Stumbled upon them one day by accident and grabbed a pizza to take home. Was surprisingly yummy.Wanted to take my wife for a pizza treat and made the 45 min trek to Comfort from San Antonio and with not a soul sitting at a table, the lady at the window essentially tells us to get lost since some alleged wedding party will be showing up and they can't make us a pizza.Drove 40 mins to a more amazing Pizza place Fralos. Feel bad leaving a scathing review, i met the kid who started the biz and wish him the best, but need to be open and honest that the staff seem like entitled little brats with zero people skillsLesson to others, visit at your own risk. Message to Ty and Dad, great pizzas don't outweigh horribly trained staff. Wasted time, fuel and experience. Hope my review helps. .

Got a meat lovers pizza! This pizza was so delicious despite most of the locals not liking the owner or his practice of making your reserve dough. Which is understandable, dough/flour is extremely cheap. However, was it worth it to reserve the dough? Absolutely yes! Did we have to reserve it days in advance? No! What is it worth the price? Definitely was overpriced, our meat lovers pizza was $23 and was basically a little bit bigger than a personal sized pizza. We did hear about a unicorn pizza that you do have to order a week in advance so that they could source all of the ingredients, comes with fillet mignon and some other stuff on it but that's $55 or more for the entire pizza. I wouldn't say that that would be worth it but to each their own.

What a treat, highly recommend! We called ahead (the day before) to order, so we knew we had a yummalicious lunch ready. Ordered a Bubba and a veggie... and oh, my! So flavorful! Nothing overpowered, it all came together so well.The outside dining area is great. They have misters and fans going against the heat and we were very "comfortable"!

Great pizza. Super fun with kids. It is also a secret Pokémon stop and shop. If you are coming to Comfort it is a must stop location.

Best pizza in Comfort and Boerne. The service was awesome and the ambiance was beautiful. One of the best memories I have was eating at this pizzeria on a quiet night in a adorable town. Thank you Comfort Pizza! You are the best! The ingredients are so fresh and the dough is top notch.

I walked 30 minutes to eat here and was told because I didn't order ahead it would be 1.5 hours for ONE PIZZA. Maybe put together an actual website letting people know that it's best to order ahead or maybe try to be a little more accommodating especially to a new customer

We loved it! We were staying at the Meyer Hotel and walked here for dinner. Two super nice guys working helped us decide what to get. The outside patio was great, family Jenga a blast, and my son was beyond stoked about the Pokémon! Pizza was delish, drinks good, with lots of choices.
