Please do not waste your time or money on this crooked business. The food legitimately tasted like it came straight from cans (specifically the beans which were cold) and served with grated government cheese. The green chili was spicy but lacked any actual flavor (as well as the chips and "dip"). The waitress was pleasant but overall this place left a bad impression.When we left, I was quite shocked at the total. We weren't given a receipt but because it wasn't sitting right with me I sent my daughter back in for one. These crooks add a gratuity without advising their customers!!! This was on top of the tip we left. It was shady and when I inquired if and where this information is posted (since most respectable restaurants advise of a gratuity for parties of 6 or more) I was advised it isn't. So they really are just out here robbing people blindly. On top of that they have a money gram stand IN the restaurant so people are constantly in and out walking between the tables. DONOT BOTHER STOPPING HERE! YOU'RE BETTER OFF AT MCDONALDS. THEY CHARGE GRATUITY FOR PARTIES OF 5 or MOI've emailed and called multiple times to resolve this without any contact back.I will say the margarita was decent.

Service was fast, food was delicious, everyone was super friendly. We definitely recommend. Ask for the hot sauces, delicious. Side note: My kids said "this is fire, five stars mom" which in kid speak is tell people to eat here!

Upon entering my boyfriend and I were greeted and was told we could sit anywhere. The server came quickly to take our order and brought out our food just as fast. Soccer was playing on the tv which was a exciting to watch while we ate! Everyone and everything was great!

Terrible service... I don't know why the staff didn't like us but the looks were enough. Second we were the only table that didn't receive or were offered their chips and salsa. We watched them take them to every table. I personally don't care for them but my daughter likes the chips. Our food was mediocre at best. I am Mexican and grew up in a very traditional home and for the entire staff being Hispanic, food was just not good. Waitress was very rude and more concerned about the table of 3 regulars they all seemed to know, and the rest were busy at the cashier stand taking selfies. Very unprofessional and food was not good enough to make up for it. Given they did start moving when the rush started around 11:30. If you're visiting you're better off just driving the 25 minutes to Blanco Cafe or literally anywhere. WAAAAAY BETTER FOOD AND SERVICE in San Antonio area.

Honestly doesn't look like much walking in and the currency exchange booth in the corner had me a little suspicious. But I will say the food was delicious, and unique. Their homemade green chili sauce is absolutely to die for and I wish I could find out the recipe. The margaritas were sweeter than I normally expect but quite good. Finally the price was perfect, quality dinner and two margaritas for under 25 dollars.

great food great customer service the waitresses are awesoma and so is the owner claudia- kareoke when available lots of laughs - food hot and fasr service - bar for drinks and beer plus i can watch sports on the tvs i recommend the tampiqueńa plate delicious

Wow very good call by my husband! Quesobirria was awesome and so were the Gorditas! Kids had breastfed for dinner! Food was fantastic and service was amazing!! We got Waffles, carne asada, Gorditas and quesobirria!

They mess up my order and than my potatoes were hard in one of my tacos and the other taco they gave me wrong the meat was salty we don't live close too and they even repeated our order twice to us and still got it wrong

I stopped by recently when I noticed the parking lot was full. As expected, the atmosphere is very traditional. I was received by friendly staff and the recommendations were great. I ordered the carne asada with nopalitos. Delicious. Hope to retune soon to try their happy hour.
