Cilantro Mexican Fusion Food Truck

Today Cilantro Mexican fusion came to our neighborhood to sell delicious foods. I ordered carne asada fries, fideo loco and asada mini tacos. I was able to preorder so I wouldn't have to wait in line. The menu online was easy to read and order was easy as well. Menu prices were decent for a food truck. Asada fries were $10 fideo loco $10 and asada tacos (4) $8. I first tried the fries... so I thought it came with sour cream and alll the yummy fixings that traditional asada fries comes with... well that's extra I guess and needs to be added in the extras menu when ordering. I did not know this and just ordered as is. Only came with fries, carne asada and cheese. I had sour cream and salsa verde here at home so I dressed it up a little. The fries were more like McDonald's or whataburger fries. Thin and not fresh cut. I was expecting fresh cut fries. The taste was pretty good. I did like the asada flavor. Fideo loco was very good. Had the traditional fideo and extras. So the extras came with meat, beans, veggies and potatoes. Wow I enjoyed every bite. Flavor was amazing. I would definitely order again. The mini tacos were very great. I'm a sucker for carne asada when it comes to tacos. There are other options like pastor and Barbacoa... I settled for the asada. Once again the meat was generously proportioned. It did come with double corn tortilla some cilantro, white diced onion, limes and a green salsa and red salsa. Each bite was delicious. I didn't want it to end. The green salsa was very mild but has amazing flavor. At first the red salsa tasted good on the taco and I didn't feel any heat from it. But... a minute later was a different story. It wasn't too spicy but it's one of those salsa's that get you when you least expect it. That's when you know this is some good stuff. I would definitely come back and try other items on the menu. I have 4 out 5 stars only because I wasn't too impressed with the fries I ordered. I would recommend this food truck to everyone.

Portions are wayyy too small especially based on the price!!! $14 for a mini quesadilla being passed of as "supreme" is ridiculous. The only ingredients inside of the quesadilla was meat and cheese there was nothing "supreme" about this meal. I even had to ask for them to put extra things like cilantro and onions on top. We also ordered a burrito that was very small as well. This was at most a very expensive snack...

Sheesh. This food was amazing. I stopped here randomly because it was across the street from my hotel, got the Birria plate and quesadillas. I didn't even get to take pictures because my wife and I obliterated it . Will try and find this place whenever I visit! It is a food truck so expect to pay a little, but it is totally worth it. They have to profit and keep on delivering fantastic food!

Where to begin?? This truck came to our neighborhood today. My wife mentioned it last night and truthfully I wanted to avoid it because the last few trucks to come here weren't all that good. When she mentioned the Mexican burger with ham and avocado the childhood memories of visiting family in Mexico flooded me, so I was game. Not since those days in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, has a burger hit that hard. It's the real deal. My wife got the Cali burrito and it was great. La Carne asada asada was super and full of flavor. But the real stars are the fideo loco and charro beans. My wife only eats refried beans, does not usually like charro beans. She loved these. These are like abuelita's beans. The fideo, with the chicharrones, jalapenos, potatoes, asada...Santa madre....Service was amazing. This truck is the real thing. We didn't even take pictures. Tore it up.

I've never heard of this food truck before but upon grand opening of Slackers Northstar, I was able to try out some birria tacos y consome. Literally giving some popular birria taco trucks a definite run for their money! The tacos were absolutely delicious and the consome was soooo sooo rich and authentic I've been craving more. The whole time eating them I was super impressed, even convinced my friend to grab some tacos as well. I'm so happy they've partnered up with my favorite bar in the city, now I can go on their designated nights to grab tacos and beer and watch some games! Great job guys, y'all definitely need more recognition and will be following closely to get a chance to try more of your authentic flavors in the menu!

Cilantro offers up Mexi CDC an comfort food. I love their ASADA FRIES especially with jalapenos and cilantro added on top. Sooo goood!!Follow my foodblog and restaurant review on IG @letseattexas

Had a chance to try this food truck at the streetfareSA. Customer service was amazing the food was Also amazing. owner was chill we love the vibe. Me and my husband had tried they're super nachos with avocado and a asada and it had so much flavor. Those things are bomb! we didn't get everything on the menu but will definitely be back when there here . I recommend cilantro food truck to everyone. Unfortunately I only had a video of our food no pics

Okay so I had to screen shot from a video I had, BUT these tacos were AMAZING! I got the pastor mini tacos and a mexican coke! The tacos were $8 and it's $1 more if you want avocado or queso. Still a good deal for such a flavorful taco. The green salsa was a perfect pair, and if you like a really spicy salsa use the red one If you've been to taquitos west avenue then you'll love these tacos (maybe even more). They also have More than just tacos, that you'll have to try!

Way over priced for 4 mini taco $14? Scamming! I have better mini tacos from other food trucks for literally half the cost.#gotoRicky'sTacos

Please do your wallet, and your stomach a favor and stay clear of this restaurant. I am all for food trucks and supporting small businesses. But there are limits to this. I payed $14 for a quesadilla and the smallest tip available (besides not leaving a at all)was an additional 3 dollars. In total, a $17 dollar quesadilla. I won't lie, it tasted amazing. However, the quesadilla was TINY. For reference, this would have been a $2.50 quesadilla in Mexico or anywhere near the border. I was hungry right after the meal. They charge $5 for 8oz of rice.I was not even offered salsa or napkins. The avocado that comes included were four thinly sliced excuses of avocado. Take your $17 dollars elsewhere (try Cuishe if you want authentic Mexican food for the same price). I never leave bad reviews so please heed my warning.
