Probably won't make it back to this location. First didn't have many people inside at 7:30pm on. Friday night. But ok. So, when I went to order, I looked at the menu and the Gal Bi was $17.99 but then I was quickly told that that the menu prices aren't updated and it's $2 more. Ummm didn't like that but ok. So after i order the Gal Bi and The mandu it was over $30. What really that's crazy that's not $30 worth of food. And as you see I barely had any of the traditional Korean sides. Now I really really hated that. Ok the taste of the food. The Gal bi was pretty good. Nothing to really complain about. But nothing to highlight either. Also with the mandu it wasn't anything bright about it, just there. Didn't have enough sides to really judge them. So again I feel like I was robbed by the cost and the food that didn't stand out. Oh and the lack of sides (really upset me).

This is my second and LAST time here. Did not end up staying to eat. Not sure what happened to my first review... seems to be missing??I was wanting Korean food and thought of giving this place a second try although our first experience was unsatisfactory. Today's near experience was even worse. Very disappointing. This lady runs her own restaurant by herself, which wouldn't be a problem except she is incapable of doing so. She is server and cook and the only customer service under the roof that I have witnessed during both visits. I came in at 1:59pm and with no one in sight, I went to the back, picked up a menu and sat myself at a table in the corner. I am dining solo today so there are 3 empty chairs at my table. With just a few patrons in there, end of the lunch rush and tons of available space, I opt for this table so I have ample space to place my purse down and the spread I am excitedly awaiting for lunch. Several minutes go by, I can see her moving about in the kitchen area. Shucks, I am getting concerned becs I really wanted a lunch special which the menu mentions ends at 2:00pm. Surely she'll be understanding. Right?! She finally comes out of the kitchen and noticed me. I smile. She calls out to me from across the dining room if I am dining alone. I say, "yes". She directs me to change tables so I am on one of those 2-seater tables which I find to be awkward. But ok, I get up and move myself allowing her comfort over mine. My culture and upbringing emphasizes respect to elders first and foremost. She walks over muttering something I cannot understand, I believe it was regarding a beverage that was not available today. No biggie. I ask her politely (fingers crossed behind my back) if I can still order a lunch special which is a smaller portion and according to the menu ranges from $9.99 to $10.99. It is now 2:05pm and says flatly, "no." I don't put up any argument or pleading, this is her establishment, I surrender immediately, but I am feeling defeated. I open up the menu again and ask for the same entree but dinner portion now $17.99. Ugh. She writes down my order and tells me that the actual price of the Gal bi is $19.99. WHAT?! She did this to us when we came the first time over a year ago but at that time, didn't mention any price difference and charged me anyway. I am done. I tell her "thank you, but I'm just gonna go." She curtly says "bye!", spins on her heel and stomps away. $20 bucks for my lunch that I drove over 20 minutes for with such a terrible lack of customer service? I can't do it. I am amazed that her business has lasted this long and that people actually spend their hard-earned money here! Must be due to terrible lack of options. I am mad, sad and hungry. Good grief. Jumping back on Yelp for more lunch suggestions. Super bummed. Stay away, my peeps. There are other, much more deserving businesses that would do so much better at earning and keeping your loyalty.

The other reviews with low ratings are valid!! Save your money and time and go elsewhere. When I came in it was a weekday around 5pm. No other customers were there. The owner greeted us and gave us menus. It was then I started looking up reviews on Yelp and another site. I saw the reviews said the food was mediocre and service was subpar. We were hungry but decided to share a "meal." We ordered ttoppoki. It was actually decent but too many onions and not enough ttoppoki noodles. Tap water was not an option. Bottled water is $1.75!! Total rip off and it's the Sam's brand. The place looked clean but definitely old. The lady was the only worker, so she took on host, server, cook, and cashier. I believe she is the owner. She wasn't overly friendly. The other reviews don't lie! I saw a few people come in for take out orders and the owner seemed short-tempered with them. One other couple dined when we were there and now I see why. Save your money and go elsewhere!

as mentioned by many already, portions small. Paid almost $50 for chicken bulgogi and a soup, and then a Man du appetizer. Soup was the size of many other Asian restaurant's miso side. Flavors weren't bad, but nothing that could overcome the small portion. We were both still hungry. Basically only enough food for only 1 person, for $50? Outrageous.

My cousin and I walked into this empty building that had one employee. The lady took our orders, cooked our meals and was also our waitress. Wow talk about multitasking. We tried ordering kimbap but the lady said they were all out of Ingredients so she suggested something else off their menu which was very nice. The ribs were so delicious and the beef bulgogi was sooo yummy as well. They only offer bottled water and can drinks which is ok. Place was small and fairly clean. The owner of the place stood by our table and chatted with us for a while telling us the story behind her business and ingredients she uses which was great. She was the sweetest lady.

Service is a little slow but it's basically a one person shop. Food was excellent! Hubby ate all my kimchi! Bulgogi was well seasoned and delish.
