China King Buffet

We went to this place for the first time and I was not impressed at all.. some of the food was cold not even warm and the spicy shrimp was not even spicy and had a gritty sauce on it... when we left the bill was $47.35 I signed for it not leaving a tip cause of the food and today I got an email for a change to the charge saying it was for $49.35 for a tip!!!!!! I did not approve the tip and now I am disputing it on my side!!!! They tried to steal $2 from me. This place suck!!!!! I will never go there ever again. Not only that we went at 11:15am close to lunch and there was only us and maybe two other tables eating so not many go to this place!!! No wonder!!!!!!! Stay away from this place food suck and they will steal a tip if you don't leave one!!!!!!

HMMMM......Let's start with about 8 yrs ago this was my weekly stop....FANTASTIC place that I recommended to every1SELECTION : enormousCONDITION: ALL food choices were hot/fresh and replaced hourlyNOW:I'm so so angry I chose to stop there 2day !For some reason there are 2 completely empty fodd warming bays that are EMPTY !》complete and total lack of choices》numerous items, including fries were simply not temperature safe & croutons were wet like and soggy》lettuce (love my salads) was actually soaking in water and partially brown !!....WTF 》the broccoli beef/chicken was simply wrong...weird weird non meaty taste and didnt smell like it should, in fact I think the chicken was some kind of substitute stuff ?COMPLETE DISASTER They need to call Bill Miller on how to make sweet tea (had to practically beg for sugar pkts)The urinal was actually like hanging off the wall, urine smell over welmed to room, let alone "liquid" all over the floor, vanities and sinks were deplorableSomething has happened to the people or family that ran this place 8-10 yrs agoITS NOT THE SAMENEVER EVER again !

$15 for a very limited and sad selection on Sunday. This was at one time a fairly clean and decent Buffett. Those days are far behind it. I actually saw folks look at the food and leave. I stayed for one reason. There isn't another buffet for miles.

Price is good.Establishment is outdated but clean.Staff and service are good.Waiter was attentive, polite and friendly.Buffet: small by buffet standards not much selection.Soups were hot and full of flavor: wonton and egg drop.Rice and noodles were good.Spicy chicken had flavor.some food was not hot enough, cold shrimp tasted fermented. Fruit was good.Desert was not.Cookies stale and cake was dried.Recommend to try once for yourself if in the area, not worth going out of your way but worth a stop once.Establishment:I recommend a new business loan for a modern renovation with an expanded menu with unique dishes in San Antonio.

The food was served cold, and the hard green beans tasted as if they had been microwaved. The wonton was empty when it was supposed to contain filling, and almost all the food was cooked improperly. They also charged us for wasted food, and the tea tasted watered down. Additionally, there was a hole in the seat, and the TV was broken. Overall, this place and the food were not good.

We had high hopes will all the good reviews we saw, but where exactly disappointed once we saw the buffet. Some of the food was fresh and hot, but the other food was either cold or dry.

I have eaten at several different China King restaurants and they have always been 5 stars. The selection here was slim and the food that was available was old, dry and picked over

Employees OTP while handling food (phones are dirty) food was mid, bathroom very dirty, fly chillin in the food area. 4 ppl plus drinks and tip $80 NOT WORTH IT. Try Super Star Asian Buffet up the street

i really wanted to like this but i definitely do not recommend. Food is no good at all and they charge a lot. Don't state when you walk in but on napkin holders it says to eat what you get or or whatever food is left on plates you will be charged 4.99 a pound. NOT GOOD FOOD!!

Great tasting food, from noodles to shrimp, sushi and desserts. All delicious and courteous staff.
