This is my go to comfort spot here in Converse. The staff is always so nice and welcoming and the food always slaps. Definitely try the beef broccoli and bourbon chicken!

Ordered from here on Uber and 15 min after eating the chicken, my stomach started hurting and I started throwing up. It's been 5 hours later and I still feel ill. I barely ate any of it and threw it away. ‍

Been coming here since I was a kid always get full for the right price and the food never fails me

China express is basic Chinese food it not amazing but it will do. I like that they have family meal options and have done take out a few times. I am saddened that they no longer offer soup but offer than that it's just basic.

After looking at the menu they had a few meat dishes taped over with paper saying they were out of certain meat dishes mind you this is at 2:45 pm. I drive up to the window to order and I tell her I want the plate with the 3 proteins & one side . I tell her orange chicken then I realize I forgot which meat ( proteins ) are taped over so I asked her which meats were available and she points back to the menu at the drive thru behind me and tells me "The Menu Is Back There". Just unbelievable. I'm not going to mention what I said to her . The meat in the orange chicken was hard as rocks . Just disgusting . I wasted $10.00 on some very nasty food . I seriously wouldn't bother to eat here .

We have been getting takeout at this place for many years, probably since it opened. It was very good reasonably price Chinese food. Not any longer. In the last few years price has went up 40% and quality went down about the same. Can no longer recommend.

You in a pinch and need Chinese food this is a ok spot. The food is edible. The service is ok sometimes they get backed up. You might get left over food that doesn't taste good but if it's fresh you're golden. The inside is like any other spot that's not a restaurant it's clean enough to eat off the table. Go nuts.

The food was amazing and patt served me with service I would 5star recommend the portions are great and the food is fresh! Love this spot and she was strong about her food and explained everything well I got the biggest plate they gottt!

Good, on-the-go Chinese food. Most of the dishes are buffet style, waiting to be dished out. I had the orange chicken, large portion serving. It was good, but nothing to brag about. My friend had the teriyaki beef. Another large portion. Hers was made fresh, she was very happy with the taste and quality. I do recommend this restaurant, and I will come again if I'm in a hurry.

I ordered 1 dish when they first opened 1 week new. MY RICE WAS REALLY HARD .Not great at all .Service ok. Never returned.PLEASE RICE IS BASIC.Wow!
