Lets talk about my new favorite place to get chilaquilies!!!! Buen dia was amazing as soon as we walked in. The vibe was on point from the music to the huge pop of color and vigor the store front brought. The staff was also very friendly and helpful; they greeted us as soon as we walked in and told us to take a seat any where. They recommended some amazing choices and even told us a store trick (you can order half and half of each type of chilaquiles. Now lets talk about the food!!! this is the top reason why I will be back. I'm an official big back and dang this plate took me out but filled me up. I ask everyone to go and visit and try it out for yourselves.

Fantastic service, we were reluctant to try this spot since it's in the Pearl and thought it'd be a bland "safe" version of the beloved chilaquiles we were craving...and we feared the long wait or over packed spaces we might encounter but it was so nice and the food presentation flavor and value was amazing The only criticism I had was the menu description for "el burro" doesn't imply anything about it being a burrito...we put it together after re reading that "burro" part and it certainly didn't lose any stars for the description not indicating a chilaquiles burrito but it is the only thing that could be improved otherwise the dining room is super cute and the patio is spacious too Tomatillo sauce was our favorite

This spot is very cute but at least for a born San Antonian, I'd say it's more of a tourist spot. It's not your local mom and pop. You can take pictures outside, inside and they have cute signs that say Buen Dia! Love that! I don't love the fact that you have to order at the front register before you sit down. That doesn't give homey to me. I felt rushed when having to order and therefore missed some of the excessive add-ons you pay for. We both ordered the chilaquiles which they are known for. That comes with one egg and beans. If you want more eggs, you add to the bill. Want asada or carnitas, a lot more! That's where they get you. We also asked just for plain bean and cheese taco for our little one but told they have kids menu and that's all they could do. So we paid $9.99 for two bean and cheese tacos and fruit. By the end of our order, we were at $68 and change. Then you have to pay an admin fee. It's ridiculous. It was 3.5%. Just be aware. They do have iced cafe de ola which was very good, just a tad bit too sweet but it's definitely worth a try. The food overall was great! I'd recommend just the basic plate to help with the cost and maybe even spilt it with a friend and add a protein. I also can't go without saying the staff that served us was kind overall. Can't take that away from them. I'd say try it but review the menu before so you know what you want and order wisely. Buen provecho!

Visited on a late Friday morning. They were friendly, attentive, and provided sufficient recommendations. It's an order, pay, then sit type of establishment - which I liked. There was plenty of seating to choose from both indoor and outdoor. The food was tasteful, the temperature was ideal, and the service was quick. Employees came around to check on us and ask if anything else was needed. I'll definitely return when I'm in the area.

Technically at the pearl but sort of off the beaten path. It's a spacious bright place with a lot of outdoor space. It's an order first sit after place. Alisha (hope I got that right) explained the menu and was really friendly. I went with the breakfast tacos to try a little of everything. But the chilaquiles taco was my favorite so I probably should have just got some of them. Also tortilla inside a tortillas so overkill. I enjoyed everything and will have to go back when I'm craving chilaquiles and want to get buzzed.

I tried the Flautas De Carnitas and they were delicious!! I got full very quickly and plan to get them again. I went on Sunday to try their $1 mimosas and they were good too. If you're looking for a brunch spot near the Pearl, this is great! When my group and I walked in, it was noisy and hectic because of the crowd. My friends and I took a step to the side to look at the menu before walking back up to order. The place is fairly small but our food came out fast and the employees were friendly.

I definitely recommend trying these chilaquiles! Everything: the beans, the sauce, the pickled onions, the kindof crunchy tortillas and the cooked-to-order egg... perfecto. Nice working crew, but efficiency could be better. A bunch (10) of us walked over from the Pearl and there was a great place for us to sit inside and there's also a nice outdoor area. The bright "pop" feel isn't my thing but I'd go back for the food.

We started with chicharones and they were really good and came out fresh. I had the flautas and they were so amazing, truly some of the best I've had. Horchata was really good as well. Def will come back.
