This place was phenomenal! Established very pleasant just upon walking in and the service was great. The food is the best Turkish food I've definitely had in the city. One of my top restaurants in San Antonio. We try to multitude of food options here and they're all good but the food that shines is the doner gyro meat both the lamb and chicken. Hard to find me that quality and flavorful here in the city. The restaurant is decorated beautifully too.Now as for the desert shop, I would give it a 3/5. We tried a bunch of various desserts. The cookie selections were somewhat dry and were good but probably would not order again. The biscotti cheesecake was an average slice of cheesecake, saved by the biscotti butter slathered on top. The pistachio cake was amazing, give props there, but the tiramisu was disappointing and the whole flavor profile was off along with the texture. Maybe next time we will try more kd the traditional Turkish/Mediterranean desserts.

We had a great dinner here! The lamb shack was tender, savory and cooked to perfection. My wife had a lamb and beef Turkish sausage dish that was also cooked to perfection. We went to the adjacent Turkish coffee and Bakery and fell in love with the deserts there!! Highly recommend.

I've come to this location a few times and the experience is on average really good! The location is clean and decor is festive, you feel welcomed in and ambience is good. Service varies per visit - there have been times we were served in a timely manner and times we waited 30+ minutes for appetizers. This is regardless of the business being busy or not.The quality of the food doesn't miss - the hummus is fantastic and not overly seasoned, and we loved the flatbread that comes with the meals. We typically order two or three mixed grill platters to share with family - they are huge! I recommend one platter per two people (and you will have leftovers).I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the mood for great food in the northwest side of town.

Though this restaurant is on the opposite side of town, it is well worth the drive for the delicious food and desserts. Chef's Table is one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants in town. Service is impeccable and there are a variety of options for both vegetarians and meat lovers. I love the beautiful decorative plates hanging on the walls as well as the glass chandeliers. Be sure to save room for Turkish coffee and their amazing dessert selection.

Heard so many reviews about this place and had to try it out. Walked in on an early Saturday afternoon, around 1130am, and it wasn't that busy but it did pick up later! We beat the rush! Our server was incredibly nice and gave us recommendations on what to eat. She was patient and kind. The ambiance transported me to turkey with the decor, and the beautiful lights! We ordered the following:Hummus: it was excellent. The kids tore it up! Not overly lemony or oily! It was actually very good and excellent for dipping with the free bread they give you! Chicken Tava: it came out piping hot. Full of onions and peppers in a nice gravy sauce. Rice was included with this meal which is similar to a rice pilaf. I'm torn with the dish. It was good, but I think if they added a little more salt, it would have taken it to a different level. I'd still recommend it if you like stew!Beef tenderloin shake kebab: my daughter loved it with the rice. The beef was tender but needed a little more flavor as well. The salad was good as well but a little overdressed. The dressing was bright and tangy. Cheese Pide: the dough is very similar to the bread they provided us at the beginning. The cheese is so good! It taste like fresh mozzarella! It was very good and the kids loved it! Lamb & Beef Doner (Gyro) meat: the server brought this for all of us to taste because I couldn't make a decision between this and the chicken Tava. Let me tell you...this was probably THE best dish and it was complimentary! It was packed full of flavor. There were hints of lemon in it too! I would definitely recommend this plate/meat above everything else!!! It was so good! There were crispy ends & tender ends! Definitely a must! While some dishes fell a little flat, they were all still pretty good but I'd still recommend this place! The service was great, the ambiance was beautiful and the food was good. The other best part of this restaurant is that it attaches to the most decadent pastry shop right next door! You don't even have to go outside...they opened a wall for easy access!! lol!! We definitely went there after!! The owner of this place, also owns the pastry shop next door.

We discovered this place as an oasis in the desert of deserted Christmas closings! Beautifully ornate from floor to ceiling with excellent hospitality from our waitress, Ana, this location left us visually dazzled. Ana brought complimentary, soft and delicious, Turkish bread to our table along w/ an interesting pomegranate, olive oil, salsa. We ordered hummus and a lamb gyro w/ a beautifully prepared side salad w/ balsamic vinegar, which Ana asked if we'd like to add for a $1. That's smart business and good for the customer which I appreciate. Portions were good but the food was lacking in some areas IMO. Hummus needed more lemon, salad was lacking flavor & lamb was tender but also low on flavor. The menu looked promising and relatively inexpensive. We didn't get to try the offerings from Turkish Delight next door, but it looked like a great place to meet up for a treat with a friend. We'll be back!

This is was a unique Mediterranean restaurant. There is an inviting outdoor seating area and a beautifully decorated interior. There was no waiting and we were immediately seated. We were served bread with a spicy chili dip. We had never had this dip but my husband loved it. I don't care for spicy food so I only had a tiny taste and that was enough heat for me. We both ordered the Mediterranean salad, one with lamb and the other chicken. The portion was a sizeable amount. The dressing was delicious and the meats were very tasty. For dessert we had baklava and Turkish coffee, which helped settle our full bellies. Both server's were very attentive and friendly.

Wow amazing experience! The food the service everything was 10/10. And the coffee house next door full of desserts and treats was a perfect way to end our meal. Definitely stop here next time you're in the area.
