Good food great waitstaff but a little slow service but not terribly bad Food was good and food service good after a slow start

Terrible!! You could improve everything with your food, drinks, and wait staff!! Our drinks watered down and the wait....Our food was cold, and our steak was cooked beyond Well Done and which you can only get the steak medium. When you are ordering a steak you should be able to get it how you would like it! Our waitress was friendly but took way too long to bring us everything. The only part of this experience was the ambiance and the fireworks! We will never do this NYE dinner again at the Tower!

We are members of Landry's Select Club. This is a very nice restaurant that we like for special occasions or just a "staycation"type visit. The chefs are always creative and the meals are presented well. We had a steak filet mignon with garlic mashed and a sea bass fish option. I recommend going right before sunset so you can see it during day and when it gets dark with all the city lights.

Beautiful restaurant with breathtaking views. We arrived one hour before closing for a late night family dinner. I ordered the filet mignon which isn't my go to but I loved it. Now for the real deal- our waiter Jason. He was one of the best waiters I've had in a long time. Sense of humor and completely professional. When in San Antonio a must is the Vhart House and ask for Jason.

I believe our server's name was Jeremy. He was so kind and helpful and apologetic. When we first arrived there was quite the crowd waiting to be seated so they told us we could wait upstairs at the bar if we'd like. We went up at ordered drinks and right when we did that, our table was ready so it was kind of clunky. The tables are fairly tight together in certain areas which means if you are staring out the window to see the view, you may also awkwardly be staring at another party that's between you and the view. My sister's starter plate that was set at the table was dirty but that was quickly replaced. The food was good. However, our soups came out cold and the lobster bisque was wayyyyy too spicy. I didn't know it was southwestern lobster bisque?! LOL (it's not) The wait time for our main dishes was quite long. It was a nice bucket list restaurant visit but you definitely go for the view more than anything. I probably only would come back for like a 4th or July or New Year's celebration where you can see fireworks from up there.

This place was super fun experience! All the food we ordered was really good. My favorite dish was the Shrimp and Crab dip. I would get that every single time. FYI happy hour is only at the bar. Website was a little confusing about that but no biggie.The server Dave was very helpful and kind! We met both the AM Emily and the GM, they were very kind and wanted to make sure we had a memorable experience. We came in for my sisters birthday and they gave her a dessert with a candle and the server even gave her a card from him That was one of the sweetest things i've seen a restaurant do for birthdays. I love how it revolves so we can see all around the city during our dinning experience. The pictures from this viewpoint are beautiful. they also have spots that tell you whether you are looking south/north/east, etcThe one downside was that they do not validate parking. That threw me off because MANY restaurants i've been to usually validate.

They greeted at the bottom of the restaurant and at the restaurant. They were very friendly as we were literally the first ones there. So they were having their meeting before breaking off and doing their job. Ambiance is nice. The view is good as it rotates around. We went full circle while we were there. Food was good but the server could have done better. He spilt drinks as he was filling up our cups , he didn't refill till our cups were empty and towards the end. Which he did apologize. He didn't take his time putting the plate down and spilt one of the dipping sauce on the table. I had told him my son wanted his burger plain and dry. No cheese and he gave him cheese. Other than that we were literally the first ones there and it was great.

The filet mignon steak was mediocre. Service was slow even though it slow afternoon .

I had an incredibly disappointing and unacceptable experience with Richard, the manager, today. After spending over $200 here and sitting at a table where I was enjoying myself, I was harassed and told to leave when I simply tried to return to my table.At first, Richard refused to even give me his name, which is unprofessional on its own. Luckily his staff was quick to offer his name, When I told him I already had a table where I was sitting, he accused me of lying. He then approached me in an extremely violent and aggressive manner, invading my personal space, using curse words, and saying, "You see this radio? I can kick your a** out of here with the push of a button and have the police escort you out."All I did was walk to the bar to grab my drink faster, but instead of being treated with respect, I was met with hostility, threats, and intimidation. He outright refused to let me return to my table and escalated the situation unnecessarily.I would appreciate it if Richard's boss could review the video footage to see that I was indeed already sitting at a table and that I was not allowed to return after simply grabbing my drinks.This was a ridiculous and unacceptable experience. I'll never return to this establishment and will make sure to warn my friends to stay far away. Spending $200 here only to be treated with such violence, disrespect, and unprofessionalism is truly a shame. This place is not worth anyone's time or money.

I am Betty Howard of San Antonio. I had dinner at the Landrys Chart House on February 8th, 2025 with my family and everything we ordered was delicious, the service from Chris was great. I am a repeat customer and always feel special when I bring out of town guest there. Thank you for your terrific staff. I give it a 5 star rating.
