After church lunch. Good selection of sandwiches, good service and the food was very good. I apologize for not getting any pictures

This was a pleasant surprise, we were driving around and decided to give the cheesesteaks a try. Ordering was quick, I enjoyed seeing my order being prepped. It was quiet when we arrived so the ambiance was nice. You can place orders for dine-in or pick up. I would definitely go by to visit again.

I had seen Charley's come up in a search for local sandwich shops. I never had heard of it, but do enjoy a good cheesesteak. After making a quick pit stop at HEB, I cruised on over. I tried to place my order using their website but since I didn't want to create an account it was a no go. The place is nice and the cashier was friendly. I placed my order to go as I had groceries to get home. I decided to go with the Old School Cheesesteak, and added a sides of fries and a drink. After a few minutes, my order was ready and I headed back to my home. The sandwich itself is large but basic, with just meat, liquid cheese, onions, and bread. The liquid cheese was a bit excessive, as it caused the bread to fall apart after one bite. I had to grab a fork to finish it. The liquid cheese was really salty. The fries were hot and plentiful, but they too were very salty.I was really hoping to like this place, but was ultimately disappointed. Especially considering I paid $16 for my meal. Not sure if I will make it back anytime soon.

My youngest son and I have waited forever for a new ramen place to open up close to home. It finally opened up the other day, so we made plans to go there and try it out today. I guess they made us wait too long for it, because, on our way to the restaurant, we decided to try Charley's instead. I had never even heard of it, but evidently my son had and was waiting on it to open as well. The minute he mentioned it in the truck, I was ready to get there.I was really happy to see that they have three sizes of cheesesteak sandwiches. Although, I could polish off a large with no problem, I am trying to eat less these days. I ordered the small Kentucky Bourbon Cheesesteak with USDA choice steak, sautéed onions, melted shredded cheddar cheese, French onion crisps, and fresh lettuce and tomato. It was the perfect size for me. It was really piled high with meat. I absolutely loved every bite. The only change I would make next time is to ask for about half of the sauce to be on it. The sauce was delicious, but just a bit too much for MY personal tastes.I also ordered the fries with cheese and bacon. The plain fries would have been amazing enough. They were the kind of fires I like- crisp on the outside, creamy on the inside, and bursting with real potato taste. The cheese and bacon just put them over the top.My drink choice was a tangerine lemonade. It was a little too sweet for me, but it was still really refreshing. It had a lot of tangerine pulp mixed in, which I liked. The last few swallows after the ice had melted into it were perfect.I will definitely be back here. I asked some questions like an old fart while ordering which irritated my son. But the dude at the cash register who took our order was really friendly and just gave me answers with no attitude. Next time, I am going to try a different cheesesteak. I will probably get a medium and skip the fries and lemonade. I just don't need those extra calories, when a sandwich is enough and unsweet tea is my standard drink.

My bf and son picked up some goodies from this place since we've never tried it. We got some cheese steaks, fries, wings and Mozz sticks and a strawberry lemonade which was delish. I think the food would have tased better there, the steak was a bit over cooked. Wings were good; a little small but good. The fries are plain, reminded us of Wendy's. They should think about adding some seasoning, my kid had to season em at home.

Taste 5/5 - The regular PhillySteak sandwich was delicious. It was a very filling sandwich which was visually appealing as well. I particularly liked how the hot and cold ingredients were placed on different sides if the bun. The fries were solid as well. I had plain fries but they offer others whichI look forward to trying in the future. Value 4/5 - A bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Portions are generous. Service - 4/5 No greeting upon entering the door but the folks were quite friendly.

Good affordable cheesesteaks. Service and ambiance is nice and clean, pretty standard for a franchise chain.

Ordered the buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Ordered just a medium size and glad I did. The large would've been way too much. The sandwich was very good and flavorful. Just the right amount of sauce to make it Tasty and flavorful without making it too much of a mess. A very good sandwich. Also added a gourmet combo of fries. Comes with cheese and bacon. Fries seemed a bit soggy and light on flavor. The cheese sauce and bacon was nothing special on it as well. But overall was a good experience and will be back again.

This place delivers a really solid steak & cheese sandwich, and their wings are money as well. A couple of things, twice I have placed an order for pickup and twice they have gaffed on the wings. Once they made them hot ( I ordered mild) & the second time, they gaffed & gave me two orders of lemon pepper when it was half mild & half Lemon Pepper. The main issue here is that on both occasions I paid with a credit card and on both of occasions I gave a 20% tip for a pick up. Unfortunately, the next time I go I am not leaving a tip on an order to go, they will have to earn it back. Now a suggestion, on to go orders you should have an option to have the steak & cheese and veggies separated from the bread. The reason, your sub is so packed with steak, cheese & veggie juices that the bread gets soggy on the way home. Bottom line; this place is pretty good.
