Catalano Pizzeria

The stuffed pizza was stupendous, the service was horrendous. The service was that poor and I just had carry out. FYI the menu price on Yelp is off by 50% or more. The person laughed at me then said the price listed must be 10 years old or more and they had no idea. I can't buy that in this day and age. No manager ever came out to say anything about, as I was handed my food in the front someone from the kitchen yelled that they made it a large instead of a medium. Not helpful since I was eating alone, and of no consolation because the pizza was made well before it was ever known to have any pricing discrepancy. Also 22 minutes after I placed my order someone called me back to "doubled check" that it was a medium. Great if you give everyone oversized pizza, but don't jack up your own order and try to turn it into a win once there is an issue. I paid, I tipped 20%. But was fleeced

Small restaurant with big flavor. The hospitality and generosity the staff provided was phenomenal. There stuffed pizza fulfilled my craving and the crust was so fresh and crispy, you could eat that by itself and be happy. My wife raved about the flavor of their chicken alfredo fettuccini. Our party enjoyed other sides like there bread bites, mozzarella sticks and more. We left trying to determine which item we loved the most. We all agreed that Taylor, our server, was one of the best servers we have had. She was very friendly and personable. She wanted to make sure our first time there was a success and it was. Highly recommend Catalano's and ask for Taylor if she is available

UM WOW??? First off, what an unassuming building. Like so unassuming that me and my fiancé could not find the front door at first. HA. We chose Catalano's for this week's date night because we were both craving some cheesy carby deliciousness. The mozzarella sticks? *chef's kiss* They had just the right amount of breading to cheese while also having tons of flavor. In addition, the marinara sauce served with the mozz was equally flavorful. Quite possibly the best mozzarella sticks I've had in a looooooooooong time.My fiancé got a heaping portion of the grilled chicken marinara. He never has leftovers and took home half of his food - that's how I know he got a BIG serving. At first, I thought getting chicken on top of spaghetti was a boring choice, however, I had a bite of his chicken with that scrumptious red sauce and changed my mind.I had a spinach calzone and oh my goodness I never thought I would see the day that I was served a dish I would describe as having 'too much cheese.' That being said, it was magnificent. 10/10 would devour again. Shoutout to Joey for taking great care of us and even giving me a fresh batch of marinara to take home with my leftovers (which were excellent the second time around after just a few minutes in the air fryer). We absolutely will be back soon... especially since we have a couple of free bread tokens to use ;)

Baked Zita special was fabulous! Overall, the service, food quality & ambience was perfect!

The atmosphere gives you the feel that you are in an old traditional nj diner. The food was super hot and came out very quickly after ordering. You could taste the fresh herbs in the sauce. The service was extremely fast and friendly. Great little hidden gem

I'm a longtime customer of this Pizzeria. My family and I have tried almost everything on the menu, it has changed since their opening 22 years ago, although the menu has changed, the taste of food is still as delicious as ever. The portions are large enough for 2 people! Catalano's is a family owned and run Restaurant, and they pride themselves on the service rendered. The food is made fresh for you, nothing frozen, nothing microwaved. You can't beat it! The Restaurant isn't large by any means, and you have short wait for a table to be cleared and cleaned. The prices for the meals is inexpensive in relation to the food, service and ambiance.

I absolutely love Catalano's and I have since I was kid. Their calzone is amazing and huge. The service is standard and the building is old but clean. It's a great family place.

The pizza is always hot. The sauce is delicious and the dough does taste of sugar. This almost reminds me of my years living in Italy years ago.....
