Casa Jalisco Mexican Grill & Bar

Food was absolutely authentic and delish!!! Everything had great seasoning! But their Sauces both red and green were insane! And not too hot! Definitely will be back. Not to mention the service was great!!!!! Added bonus..... open on Monday when most others aren't in Lockhart!

Wanted to check out this restaurant to see if they may have some seafood. Restaurant had plenty of room, tables, and booths. Parking is convenient and place is located right off a main road. We ordered the shrimp cocktail. I liked the way they presented it. Nicely decorated with lime and orange slices, and tip of celery. It gave it a vibrant colorful display. The taste was ok but it appeared to me that if did not have enough shrimp and the mix of the sauce was too runny for me. Taste was average, and the chips were a little stale. I would of given the establishment a three for the atmosphere itself but the shrimp cocktail itself was a bit runny and not enough shrimp or the rest of the chopped veggies like onion, tomato, and could not taste any cilantro but what made me decide the two rating was the absence of the waitress. She brought our food and never saw her again. Staff did not check on us to see if we needed anything, nor did she refill our drinks. We left the table and went directly to the register to pay. That was my take on this restaurant.

Food was so-so. I got the beef enchiladas. They were good. I wasn't a fan of the sides though. Bland refried beans and rice. My husband ordered a plate that had fajitas and sausage. He was disappointed that it was mostly onion and bell peppers on his plate. He also didn't enjoy his charro beans. I did like how the menu had pictures of everything. I would like to go again and try something new. However, I'd prefer to go when there isn't karaoke going on. My ears couldn't get a break not even 30 seconds between songs. It was tough to have a conversation with one another.

This place the last restaurant leaving lovkhart with Lots of parking , good food , cold beer great friendly service . Well stocked bar, but get there early if you want a good seat Adios

Food to go. Amazing as always. The food is always so good. I have eaten in house and take away equally. The best Mexican food and the best people serving the food. I like that a lot of there dishes are not hidden under cheese. I like cheese but this food doesn't need it. My favorite is tacos Al pastor. The beans rice salsa are excellent too.

First time I ate here it was great. This time, not so much. Our waitress did not speak English and 3 out of 4 meals at our table were wrong. I ordered cheese enchiladas and I got beef. Waited for my correction and it came a few minutes later with an abundance of yellow oily cheese and undercooked crunchy rice. My sister ordered beef enchiladas and got chicken and her boyfriend ordered beef and got cheese. I am not impressed with service and quality is not there. I will not go back.

Great food, great customer service, great drinks!! Been coming here for a while and never disappointed! My go to is always Watermelon margaritas with Dos Equis! Tried Molcajete and will definitely be having again!

Great food and service. Only place we go for Mexican food. I always get beef fajita tacos and they're always good. Love their salsa and queso too! Best tortillas in town!

I was hesitant to try this place after reading reviews but it was actually great and we really liked it. Mango chamoy margaritas were amazingI got the chicken flautas and they were great as well as the beans and rice. Everything was flavorful and the white queso was the bomb! We will be returning

It is hard to believe, but such a small town has such a great cook. Thank you so much.( FARO and he's crew.)!!!You guys are amazing !! My husband had carne asada, and I had the Best torta. I've ever ate.!Are usually don't finish my meal, but this time, my goodness,! Was so..GOOOOOOOOOOD! I didn't need it napkins at all.. get it?'!!!Make shit out to Casa Jalisco in Lockhart TX!!!!
