Casa De Rosa Cafe

I haven't done a review in a Hot Min, my bad it is what it is, but I HAD to write on this spot. I live in the are and come here on Mondays cause another "famous" spot closed on Mondays. I got three tacos and she told me $8. EIGHT BUCKS. I asked her if she got the right order and she did. I immediately posted the Menu and lunch specials. This place is too good and too AFFORDABLE to be missed. Its location is a bit tough to navigate but it is worth it. plus it opens early enough for pick before work (7AM). My bacon n Eggs was tasty-tasty, the Carne guisada was more carne than guisada (nice) and the cold B&C w/bacon was solid later in the day as a snack. I only have had the verde salsa and it was nice and picoso. I called my tacos in drove a couple of mins and it was at the counter when I arrived. The inside dining is bigger than it looks from the outside. What's convenient is the other stores are "later in the day" business so just park where you can. Ima mos def try the lunch (MON,WEDS,&FRI look yummy)specials and report back!I think this review is gonna break the writers block lol

I ate at an event catered by this restaurant. Cheese enchiladas, rice, beans, tortillas, chips, salsa and salad. They came to the event, set up, served and cleaned up with no issues. They were fast and delicious! I am going to have to and eat in person because it was knock your socks off good.

Casa de Rosa is one of those places you only hear about by word of mouth. In my case, I used to work across the street from them, and my bosses would always order tacos for pickup in the mornings. I fell in love with their potato and egg taco with a little bit of their fresh salsa they usually reserve for chips during lunch. (I've come to call it "table salsa")Even after I stopped working across the street, I still make special trips here because the food is so dang delicious, and Ms. Rosa and Tania still remember me! My parents always ask to come to Rosa's when they visit, and my out-of-state friends were also brought here and they thoroughly enjoyed their introduction to some of the best Tex-Mex food in the city.Every time I bring a person to Rosa's they fall in love with its simplicity and home-cooked meals.My personal favorites? Pretty much everything. For breakfast, I usually have the potato and egg taco with table salsa, or maybe I'll get the chorizo plate, which has refried beans, papas, and comes with flour tortillas (that are so obviously made in-store). If it's a weekend, you absolutely cannot go wrong with the menudo. It's savory, it's spicy, it's a hug in a bowl.For lunch I like getting the enchiladas verdes. I wish more people gave Casa de Rosa the recognition it deserves, because every time I see a "best breakfast taco" "best menudo" or "best enchiladas" list, I scoff, because they have obviously not been to Casa de Rosa.

We heard about this place on Facebook because of their carne guisada. Unfortunately, they were sold out when we arrived. The waitress offered us a sample of their mesquite brisket and it was properly seasoned and very flavorful!! My husband decided to try their brisket nachos and he said they were the best he had. I opted for cheese enchiladas and let me tell you it ruined my diet. If you were a fan of enchilada day at school then this will take you back to the moment and you don't have to wait until Wednesday to get them. These are seriously the best enchiladas I've had. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. We are definitely coming back and we hope to try the carne guisada. I highly recommend this place!!!

Do yourself a favor and try the brisket taco. They are heaping with fantastic brisket. The breakfast tacos are OK as well but the star is the brisket taco.

Ever since I moved to Texas everyone has been raving about breakfast tacos. I love tacos! I love Eggs! They sounded great. So I tried some and was very disappointed. Casa De Rosa Cafe made me finally understand all the raving about breakfast tacos was really about. We found this place out of necessity when waiting for our kitten at the vet. We will be back again SOON!

Brisket is so good. Tortillas are for real good. I need at least 85 characters so I'm still typing. Yelp is dumb.

The food was delicious and I was not disappointed. i will definitely eat there again very soon

Service was horrible. Waitress was rude and we couldn't ask for any refills without getting an eye roll. just plain rude with no care

A delicious place to eat at, we loved there tacos and chicken flautas with the guacamole sauce and queso fresco over it!
