Capparellis Italian Food & Pizza On Southcross

Always nice wait staff and amazing food. There's always a comfortable feeling in this restaurant as you see lots of families and frequently firemen or policemen there to have lunch/dinner. My favorite is the Tuscan and I always get the full order and take it home so it becomes three meals usually - so when you look at it that way its not too pricey although for a family with four and ordering an appetizer we usually spend about $120 ish.

Food was great I had chicken parm cutletover salad with veggies Super nice service Ambiance was cool old b/w photos Desserts looked fabulous but I didn't get to try any I'd go back !! You should check it out!!

Capparellis is a favorite among the area for wonderful restaurants and food. Family friendly and delicious meals. Sauce is well regarded and tasty. A value my family has enjoyed for years. Clean and comfortable setting. Trying is believing. Parking is free. Enjoy!

While on vacation in San Antonio we wanted to find an authentic Italian restaurant and after some research we decided on Capparelli's. Holy cow it was amazing! The staff was courteous and welcoming and the kitchen was quick and accurate. Portions were very large and we ordered WAY too much food, but ate most of it anyway. Wish we would have visited here much earlier in the week because we would have definitely gone back! Will return when we visit the area again!

I had the Alfredo Fettuccini with grilled chicken and it was fresh, hot and tasty. My husband had the Italian sub. Given the speed it was eaten I would say it was excellent. Visually the place is not fancy but relaxed and the servers accommodating and friendly, we will definitely return

Went for lunch with my mom and kiddo during the week. Easy to get sitting and staff was very friendly and prompt. The restaurant is quiet and hidden, very open sitting. The food had great flavor! Although the pasta was cooler on top when served. The pizza was phenomenal! So cheesy and delicious. Definitely want to try again! They do take out as well

Family owned and operated business that provides authentic Italian dishes from scratch. I remember my elementary school handing out little coupons for this spot but never dined in... until today. We walked in, the space is quiet, clean, and roomy. We were told to seat ourselves to any table and were immediately greeted by our server who took our drink orders. I ordered (and shared) nanas trio which had lasagna, chicken parmesan, and 3 cheese raviolis - also came with a salad. The chicken was baked to perfection and packed with flavor. The cheese raviolis were fresh and filled with ricotta cheese: perfectly cooked. The lasagna was rich and creamy. We also bought the spicy chicken alfredo and hot diggity dog.... What a spicy lil kick! Yummy Not knowing their portions, we got a full order (I'd say it's about 2 servings)Again, with the salads that came, along with their fresh garlic bread, we were stuffed! Unfortunately, no cannolis or desserts were found on the menu... they did sell slices of cake by the register. I ordered some takeout to take to the Bingo and it was full of food and we could've shared some plates so just a warning that the portions are large the cake is delicious, but pricey about eight bucks for a slice. For that you can get an appetizer, I think. Service was fast and organized and they didn't forget a thing that I ordered so that's good. The ambience is very casual for an Italian eatery but everyone's plate look delicious when you're walking in.

We were in the area looking for something other than our usuals (for this area). We have been to another Capparelli's and have always enjoyed it so we thought we would take my elderly mother here to try something new for her. There were no surprises for us. It is just as good as the other one. It was a very pleasant surprise for my Mom. Even though she lives close didn't realize it was even here. Plus she really enjoyed her Alfredo bowl. It's good to know that the quality of the other restaurant is shared by this one. It speaks well of the staff which were very pleasant.

Great place and highly recommend . I ordered family lasagna at the last minute and they had it ready for me by 4pm. Thank you and love your place .
