Capo's Pizzeria

2nd time coming here. Pizza is really good and tasty. Reason for coming a second time. Service is always good and friendly. Large room with plenty of tables and chairs. Place is well maintained and cleaned.

TLDR: If you're looking for Buffalo-style pizza, this is your place.Capo's is a nifty pizzeria that claims to do both thin NY-style pizza and slightly thicker 'Nickel City' style (aka Buffalo, NY style pizza). I can't speak to the former, but they damn well nailed the latter.'Buffalo Style' is best described as a cross between its New York and Chicago style. The crust thickness is somewhere in between the two, and it comes with copious amounts of cheese - so much so that the toppings tend to slide around!We ended up trying a sausage and mushroom pie; service was good, it came out promptly and piping hot. Delish, good quality sausage bits, and lots of melty cheese. If you like your pies with extra cheese, this is your place. :-)Definitely returning, this pie was one of the top 5 I've had in San Antonio.This place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below.5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Went here with a big group here for dinner. WOW! This is probably my new favorite pizza place in town. The crust was cooked to perfection and the buffalo mozzarella they use is so incredibly delicious. My only suggestion is higher quality plates and plastic ware. Sometimes I need a fork and knife when eating a large piece of pizza and the forks and knives they gave us we so flimsy they almost immediately broke. I don't care though, I'll bring my own silverware if I have to. It's that good! LOL

Capo's pizza is delicious!! Great, always friendly service. It's a small town feel inside with neat decor.

New York Style Pizza! Driving and looking for lunch spot to eat alone and found this place... I had the lunch special Large Slice pizza, Salad and drink.Pizza crust was beyond delicious and reminded me of our pizza we just had in NYC. Definitely coming back and brining family ... Our waitress was super sweet and nice ....

Got some pizza and wings. Some slices weren't cut all the way and the wings were ok tonight.

Very friendly service right when I walked in. You can tell the people who work there love it. Though it was clean there was construction happening inside which was a bit loud but it was only near the end of me eating there.At the time I was there around 1pm, it wasn't busy and I was the only one inside. The pizza was good but was a bit burnt on the bottom for some slices. Quite good for the price. It only took around 25m's to get my order.Overall, quite good overall. Friendly staff and atmosphere. With pizza being a fair price. I definitely recommend it

First timer here. Food was excellent. The decor was modern and restaurant was clean. Oh have to say the women's powder room was beautiful,smelled great and was very clean.

Would definitely take a friend. The pepperoni slice was just how I like it. Very cheesy and the dough was soft and slightly chewy. Think bagel. Theres not much crust so that was a little bit of a let down but otherwise it was great. The chicken sandwich was also great. I got it to go so I can't say much about the service. The ambiance is what'd you think of for a typical pizza place.

Easily the best "NY Style" pizza joint I've been to in San Antonio. The wings are also particularly good! Highly recommend this place to anyone.
