Capo’s Pizzeria - Universal City

If youre looking for a solid pizza, you cant go wrong with Capo's! Tried it for the first time tonight and I was not disappointed! Got an 18in pepperoni and it was enough for 3 people (probably good for 4, but I stuffed myself) and everyone really liked it. The dough was the right kind of chewy, the sauce was fresh without being sour and the cheese was perfect! No opinion on the sports bar it's located inside, I ordered online and took it to go. Dude behind the counter was friendly enough and was quick with the transaction. I'll be back!

Picked up pizza Friday night in the window of the bar. Pizza and sauce was great. Got the sandwich to try something new. It was nice and toasted. Service was quick.

We got this to go and I was shocked by the size of the slices. They were large just in New York. If you enjoy New York style pizza this is your place.

First review! Woo! Go me.If you've had Capo's anywhere else in town, you know this place is the truth. They claim Buffalo style pizza, but it would also stand up in NYC or Jersey. This place has an excellent NY-style pie. The sauce isn't over-seasoned or too dense. The cheese has the right amount of coverage and oil. It's always best if you order a fresh pie. They do offer slices, but be aware that they're gonna be a little drier and crispier if you order them later in the day unless they're really churning them out and have to make fresh pies. That's just how pizza by the slice is. No getting around it.My advice is to grab a couple friends, sit down at JT's, grab a pitcher and a pie, and enjoy. You won't be disappointed.

Food was not good, pizza was some of the worst I've ever had. but bar was a good sports bar vibe.

Capos opens at 11am, everyday of the week. It's located inside JT's sports bar. Their pizza is very good, but my favorite menu item, is the pizza rolls, in the appetizer section of the menu. I've tried these rolls from other capos locations, and they don't season them. This location seasons them with the garlic butter and its moth watering! You can order on the capos website for delivery, pickup, or enjoy some drinks with your lunch or dinner. It's family friendly until 8pm. After 8pm, you must be 21 and up to have a seat and eat.

Phenomenal food, hours suck. Been there 4 different times in the past 2 weeks every time they have been closed one time was on a Sunday night 9:15, Monday @ 5:15, the following Thursday 6:30 and then tonight @ 6:20 and the employee was pretty rude. All i was doing is waiting for him and a friend to move out of my way so I could leave and he barks out " dude I'm not playing with you we're closed " I get it help is hard to find but when your web sight says hours are 11am till 11:30pm I expect you to be open. Also they are doing JT's no favor i would have had 4 beers plus tip the bartender well. It will be awhile before i attempt to leave disappointed again.
