Canyon City Grill

You order at one window and they call your name to pick up your food. The ladies taking orders at the window was very nice. They have self seating on their outdoor patio. I had their Texas heat burger and it was a decent sized patty. You could make it a double if you want more meat. The star of the show was their onion rings! The best onion rings I ever had. I recommend those instead of the fries. To finish my meal I ordered a strawberry milkshake. It was a good shake but not strong in the strawberry flavor. The vanilla flavor was still more apparent.

The food just keeps getting better tasting every time I stop in last time I pick up a burger fries for my roommate and the nachos for me the best tasting perfectly spicy Grilled onions and jalapeños so addicting, I came back two days later for another order of nachos

Cool little place with lots of outside space and friendly staff.We had the mushroom Swiss burger, the patty melt, the Texas tots, and the funnel cake fries with chocolate dipping sauce. Everything was delicious and the Texas tots were Huge! I liked that they had several beer and wine options. I went with the local craft beer from Roughhouse Brewing called honeycrumb.

Had 3 great burgers. New to the area and didn't realize the Grill was not a restaurant but a hamburger stand. Had 3 different burgers including a Red, White and Blue and a Texas Heat. Only negative comment is the Texas Heat had very little heat. Kind of a disappointment. But the burger generally had great taste overall. When we ordered (online) that told us when they'd be ready. We drove immediately to the Grill, got there a bit early and our burgers were ready and waiting. No inside seating but several outside tables

I've never been to an eatery in Canyon Lake and the atmosphere on this day was something to note. Cooler temps, FRESH outside air AND a playground for the kiddos? YES PLEASE. It's been a while for me to be outside in nature like this, so obvs forgot to put on insect repellent and believe me, IT BITES -- the ants that is. The food was mediocre, we ordered the fish sandwich which my husband RAVED about, an order of the breaded mushrooms & a shrimp + fries combo basket. I think the best in this order was definitely the mushrooms, but you could probably get away with buying some at your wholesale market and deep frying them yourself. It was a pretty popping spot, however. We were never the only diners in this place which must say something. OOooo but I did enjoy the root beer float! That was quite the treat. I'm pretty sure I'd come back at least for the playground & the float.

I've been wanting to try this food truck for a while and finally got there today for lunch. It was busy, since many restaurants in Canyon Lake are closed on Monday. Unfortunately, we had to wait 50 minutes for our 2 burgers, fries and onion rings. The food was good, though, and the burger was a nice size for the price. I had the Texas Spicy Burger- which was not very spicy, bust still tasty. I enjoyed the French fries and onion rings. Seating is at picnic tables.

Delicious burgers and a must when visiting Canyon Lake! They also have a healthy option turkey burger that's just as good and the sweet potato fries are amazing!

Perfect little local diner. Everything is fresh and homemade. Outdoor spot. Best chicken Caesar wrap I've eaten. A must when visiting the Canyon Lake area.

The chef salad, the buffalo chicken wrap, the fried green tomatoes and the jalapeño ranch were all wonderful!! The service was outstanding. Yes you have to wait a bit but it is so worth it as this food is fresh and made to order. We will definitely be back!!

Food was deliciously well made. The loaded tots was a slam dunk for my husband and his mushroom burger. The service was great and friendly. The ambiance was nice and cool. One of the workers was kind enough to help pick up our tray. That was a very sweet gesture.
