Calle Caribe Food Truck

Finally had the chance to visit and try out this Puerto Rican place. Definitely not disappointed. The trailer is average size and is normally manned by one person. The menu is a QR code and it also provides so photos of their most ordered food. I had chicken with totones (fried plantains) and chicken with mofongo and salad. Both were delicious, hot, and filling! You will wait a little to get your food cooked and ready but very worthy. Service was good and the cook is very polite. The area is shaded but when it gets hot, it gets hot outside. In my opinion, the eating area needs very shade to be able to avoid the sun. Overall, very good quality and menu choice!

Omg I was craving food from the island and this place hit the spot. I'm very picky with how our food is made cause not everyone knows how to season it just right, but this place ate the cake. I ordered carne frita with mofongo and a side or arroz manposteao and man was it amazing. We also had some alcapurriad but forgot to take a picture, that's how good they were LOL. Perfectly made!!!

I would like to give a great review, but sorry. I was disappointed. I went for the first time, because I like to support my Boricuas, but sorry to say. The arroz con gandules was siego, the gandules looked burnt. El lechon didn't look like lechon, it was shredded dry meat, the sorrullos were not fully cooked on the inside. The mofongo was good. The empanadas were not flavorful, had a weird texture to them and were cold, one of them was burnt. Left me with a bad first impression.

Food is really good. Reminds me of Puerto Rico for sure. The gentlemen there are very welcoming and helpful. Go by and get yourself a dish

If you have about two hours to wait for some microwaved rice then you should try this place. If you enjoy dealing with rude owners this place is perfect for you. Once they put their cellphone down and acknowledge you, they may actually help you before charging you outrageous prices. The food truck lot they weaseled into, is pretty neat with numerous options that provide better food and customer service, to include the Taco Bell next door.

Was excited to come here. It's been a few years since I have been to PR and missed the food. As others have said the food is flavorless and bland. The empanadas were flavorless. The tostones are acceptable. The service was adequate.

The service is terrible. I have came here twice and twice they have taken my order incorrectly. I don't recommend this place at all.

Delicious! The cashier was super informative and was able to answer all our questions. Our food was ready in no time. There are several places to sit down to enjoy your food including indoors or outdoors. It's super family oriented.

I got the El Caribeno. It was expensive for what you get. Supposedly it feeds 4 to 5 people but in actuality it feeds 3. The only good part of it was the carne frita,and chicharron de pollo. I also bought a side of rice that was good but 7 dollars for a small portion.

This is my second visit and each time has been perfect. The food is so delicious and flavourful. The owner is super sweet and attentive. I highly recommend.
