Good food at a fun location.I've been looking forward to trying this truck since it didn't have any reviews yet and just a couple pictures. We got a chance this last weekend at The Point for their 5 year anniversary (The Point's anniversary).I was looking forward to trying the Carne Asada Fries, but my boyfriend wanted a quesadilla instead .We got the Carne Asada Quesadilla. It was very good. It wasn't extraordinary, but it was what you expect when you order a quesadilla from a food truck. However the borracho beans it came with were excellent! The people working on the truck were very friendly, and The Point is a fun atmosphere to hang out, munch and drink.I can't wait to come back and try the Carne Asada Fries!

The burger was ok. I was disappointed that 1) I asked for lettuce or spring mix to put my bunless burger onto, and they still have me a minimal amount of cheap iceberg lettuce; and 2) the cheese seemed to be just a Kraft single. How can that be worth $7?! I can go to a local burger place (with far more overhead cost) that serves farm-to-table, grass fed burgers with multiple premium toppings for $1-3 more and far more flavor.I'm disappointed and won't be recommending this one to anyone I know.

1st time trying Caliente Grill! I had the cod fish tacos. The fish was good but there seemed to be more avocado vs. fish. The two tacos came with an itty bitty cup of beans. The cost was $9.00 which may seem steep to some BUT it totally supports local and I support that! Caliente Grill is located in the Point Park and Eats Food Truck Park so it's perfect for weekend chilling! On a diff note their chili was AMAZING!

It was 1am and I had walked about three miles... long story, don't try to take an Uber from the AT&T Center! Anyways, I was hungry after a concert and walking forever and saw this oasis in the middle of a middle-of-the-night food desert, parked outside of The Social Spot. The lights were on, it smelled tasty, and I LOVE TACOS, so it was an instant sale. I bought the five street tacos and ate them when I arrived at my destination. The tacos were alright, though it would have been nice to have been offered some salsa (especially for the price I paid) as street tacos are usually a bit dry. Otherwise they were what I'd have expected from an authentic-style taco truck. The man working was very nice, we had a good conversation and he was really friendly.

This food truck is just terrible. Avoid at all cost and save your money. I ordered the street tacos aka mini tacos. Which normally at most Mexican restaurants cost $6-7. The menu said $8 the charge on my card said $9. Great. Got the tacos and they were cold, poorly seasoned, and tons of chunks of fat! Also, ordered Corn in a cup aka Elote. Total crap. Wayy over powered with paprika and lime making it taste like soured milk. Take it from me and pass on this food truck. Their pride in cooking did not show up in my meal.

I was not happy with the service. I had a bad experience I ask for my onions to be grilled he said I don't grill onions. Won't be coming back there thousands of food trucks that have better service and tacos.

This food truck comes to my place of employment once a week. Been dying to try their bacon wrapped jalapenos. SO, I go there today, order the jalapenos, and the guy just shakes his head at me.... Can he speak? No? Maybe? So I say " oh are you out?" and his reply " we dont even have them." WELL, im already there and hungry so i order a bacon burger with fries, ask whats on their mexican burger, something like avocado and ham (nah) but I hear avocado and tell him to throw that on my bacon burger. Total comes to 13$ and some change. Yikes. I know food trucks are expensive but the burger being 9$ and the fries being 2$ so i got charged an extra 2 bucks for a couple slices of Avocado. My burger was done in 5 minutes. That tells me that its either going to be raw, or its pre cooked and they are throwing on a grill to heat em' up. decent thickness, overcooked, so yes it was a pre cooked burger and they didnt give the patty any time to rest. THe burger was dripping with grease and i know normally that can be a good thing, but this grease was gray and tasted like burn so i think they need to clean their grill or griddle up a bit. had that old burn taste to it. I ended up pulling the patty off halfway through and just had me a burger bun with bacon and avocado, which was tasty :-)Their fries are thick and crispy and delicious, but still not enought to make me want to try again.
