Caballero Bakery

I found Caballero Bakery on Yelp while looking for good pan de Dulce. With 5 stars, I had to give it a try. It's a little location on Pinn Rd that if you blink you may just miss it, so don't blink! We went close to 5 and were greeted immediately. The cases are filled with different varieties of sweet bread. We ordered several items for that evening and some snacks for the next day. Honestly I just wanted to try it all. Everything looked so good so I went with the staples. We immediately tore into the box while in the car. Everything was fantastic! The bread was soft even at 5pm. The empanadas were filled, and I mean filled! I was really impressed with this location. I highly recommend it and will most definitely be back.

When you walk in it smells amazing! Beautiful Mexican pastries, we had concha, cinnamon roll, some empanadas and a tray of small colorful concha's. Everything was delicious, and the lady was so nice, and prompt. I will be going every weekend

Charming older bakery. Nothing fancy just a small older bldg filled with the familiar scent of freshly baked pan dulce. Picked up assorted cookies, cuernitos and empanadas (pumpkin & pineapple). The owner/baker took a break from baking and came over to share info of the flavors and fillings. There were also small bowls of assorted cookies, $5, get prob 10 cookies. Loved that! Perfect lil bowl of cookies to bring to a dinner or gathering to serve with a warm cup of coffee or Champurado. Such a kind informative baker. Just a lovely experience. Will def go back to support this baker.

Absolutely wonderful pan dulce. The empanadas de camote, are my family's favorite and they are generously stuffed and beyond delicious. I brought pastries from Caballero's for a Halloween party and they were a big hit. This is a small family owned business and I highly recommend their pastries. The family is so nice and they are very helpful.

Este tienda tienen muchos dulces ricas! El dueño y las trabajadores son amable tambien. Mis favoritos son las huernos y la pan de huevo! Siempre ayudan mì escuela cuando necesitamos lo mejor dulces!! This store has many delicious sweets. The owner and workers are very helpful as well. My favorite are the horns and pan de huevo(sweet bread). They always help us when we need the best sweets!!

My go to bakery! I've been coming here for years. It's a staple if you live around here. Mr. Caballero makes everything himself fresh daily. My kids are always happy to visit. Mr. Caballero is super friendly as well as the owner and morning lady.If your looking for the best pan dulce I definitely recommend stopping here! He opens at 5:30am and if you can make it at that time you'll see full cases with all of the best! On the weekends he sells pre-made bundles and sometimes banana bread. For the holidays this is always my go to spot for the BEST Bunuelos! They sell out fast!-Follow them on fb they always post live updates!

So it's a very small building on Pinn Rd easy to pass on by. But boy do you lose if you do that. Such wonderful and inexpensive treats await you inside. The smell when you enter is mouthwatering and there is so much to chose from. Over several times I've gotten an assortment of items and enjoyed them all. I cheerfully blame them for my gaining a few pounds as they are hard to resist when I see and smell them.No photos as they never last that long.....try them you won't regret it. It's a neighborhood hidden gem.
