"We went for Valentines night to see Natalie Rose sing and we are so glad we did. Everything was excellent. They were super busy but kept the drinks and food coming. We had a cachuterie board and a few of the flatbreads. It was all so delicious, especially the cheese cake for dessert. I had several glasses of the wine and they were all good. Everyone was so friendly and we were hugging the owners good bye by the end of the night. This place is a must to check out! Cannot wait to go back when it is warm and sit outside in their outdoor space."

The beef was, admittedly, some of the best cooked and quality meat served to me this way. The corn, while canned, was hot, buttery, and a huge portion. The mash was good, but....HOW CAN YOU GIVE US LUKEWARM GRAVY ON YOUR AWARD WINNING DISH??? The gravy should be just as hot as the meat and veg. The fried zucchini was actually quite nice.Our servers were.....real. Like, keeping it real, Texas style. Drinks were refilled, and we genuinely felt taken care of.Would recommend, but for the love of Davy Crockett, heat up your gravy!!!!"

"Nice, mellow, and cool joint. If you're getting bad service here, I can only imagine it's a case of transference. The charcuterie was so fresh, and the wine selection is darn extensive! Great vibes!It was a hot Saturday, and after taking the Go Rio Shuttle all the way to the end of the line, we disembarked for a five minute stroll through The Pearl. The nice, dark interior helped ease the heat of day, and the incredibly helpful service was beyond compare. We were able to relax at the bar, have some unique wines we might not choose for ourselves, and enjoy a very fresh charcuterie. They are very welcoming at High Street. My wife got a flight, and she asked for our bartender to put something together, which he did with a nice explanation of each.We found it a nice place to relax between river shuttles and have a completely different sauna Antonio experience. This is a "will definitely return" kind of place. We even bought a tshirt"

It was a little chilly today, and they do have patio heaters, but we ate inside.We got the most popular pizza- Texas Sweet Heat and it was fabulous! Perfectly seasoned with heat and honey, and a great size to split with my husband! Then our server Joe (who was amazing, professional gave us a recommendation of the Tiramisu for dessert and he did NOT steer us wrong. It was so good! We'll definitely be back again & ask for Joe, too!"

We made our way here because our usual place was closed for vacation. Decoration inside reflective of culture. It's very nice. Higher quality memory. Menu: very large menu. With some Chinese food as well. First thing that caught my eye were the prices. Wow. This is a $$$ type of Asian restaurant. While most places I see plates $12-14. Here average price is $18 a plate. With appetizers average is $11. I felt this better be great quality and quantity for the price. And it was! It was worth every penny. I had the pad Thai. I barely finished it. The flavor was fresh and very tasty. My wife has the red curry and it was as expected large size with rice. She asked for extra spicy and it did not disappoint her at all. We opted for no appetizer due to price. The service was also above average. Very nice server. Food arrived FAST and hot. About 8 minutes after we ordered. For reference this is my 2nd time here. I had take out once a few years ago. It hadn't impressed me, but that was years ago, lots of things changed since then."

A meal is best with a bottle you can bond over. I like and recommend their Malbecs and Pinot Noirs from the California region. Appetizers are all top notch. I can't help but repeatedly order the Antipasto- adult charcuterie board for those not in the know ;) so many meats, cheeses, honey, fruits, olives and crostinis. I'm typically a fan or the chicken or eggplant parm. The special this week is scallops over fettuccine with a mushroom sauce. Can I get a chefs kiss? Seriously though, this place is the real deal. I've never had a bad meal. The menu is yours to conquer.Don't forget a nice tiramisu or crème brûlée for dessert"

"I've been to the pizza place next to Fredrick's so many times throughout the years, but I had never been into Fredrick's. The entrance is so unassuming you would never know how much deliciousness was inside. The temporary lobster fest banner is what drew us in after going to Florios Pizza, only to find it was closed for a week vacation. Upon entry the restaurant gives a cozy vintage vibe with dim lighting and kind of lounge feels. Everything on their menu sounds delicious. We ordered lobster, calamari, escargot with chorizo, and a beet salad. It was all amazing! I'm sad I just found out about this place. I will definitely be back!"

The manager showed us to the third level and introduced us to relax around a place of our choosing. My wife and I made ourselves comfortable at the bar and met a Scot from the highlands name Mike who was so knowledgeable about his profession. We started with a cosmopolitan and a 1792 neat while contemplating food. We selected to share an appetizer of Brussels sprouts and ordered a 10" pizza. Both were absolutely best we experienced in our 20 years off traveling in the NE regions of the USA. Mike made our visit so relaxing and enjoyable. I enjoyed his conversation while sharing experiences glamping in Peru. My wife enjoyed sharing special drink recipes and experiences after mixology training. "Wow! Came here during lunch on a weekday and it was amazing. There was no wait and the dining room was super open. No one was sitting at the bar and maybe 2-3 other tables in the dining room and one table outside. There was about 3 servers and one manager named Rey all very helpful. You don't get one select server it's all open. We got a bruschetta board Smoked salmon pesto, Sweet n spicy pepper jam goat cheese, Fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, and French onion. All of them were super delicious! I got the tomato basil soup or their take on it super good and my friend Fernanda when she comes here she always gets the skewers so I got that and they were amazing. I got the cumber honey lemonade. Overall great lunch! A bit on pricey sidey but it's worth it! Definitely will be back!"

The Jalapeño Crawfish Chowder was the best appetizer I have had in a while. The Country Fried Chicken was delicious. Great meal & nice patio dining. They were out of all the dark beer they listed on their current menu. Hopefully they restock soon or modify their offerings. The service was fantastic from being seated quickly, ordering and receiving our meal. Definitely coming back while the weather is perfect for outdoor patio dining in Texas."

"We decided to stop at Elsewhere Garden Bar & Kitchen as it was on the way back to our hotel from the Pearl area and looked like a fun little stop. The decorations are very fun and colorful and really draw you in. As we had a big breakfast and had dinner plans, we decided to split the grilled chimichurri chicken sandwich and then each have a drink (a margarita for me). There are two separate lines for food and drink orders so we decided to start at the food line. The line went quickly and the gentleman at the counter was very friendly! We then ordered our drinks and realized they also had games so we checked out a little card game to play. The drinks were ready first and we just picked those up at the window. For a plain margarita with just a salt rim, I thought it was an odd color and that it also tasted a bit weird but luckily it wasn't a bad weird. The sandwich and fries it came with were delicious (it's easy to get sauces and silverware at the self serve area). All in all, this was a fun experience and we were really glad we stopped in."

The place had a nice, clean, cozy feeling. They had a plenty of options that meet my needs. I ordered the veggie club special with water since it was hot. My husband ordered the bean and cheese chalupa with an unsweetened tea. My friend ordered a chicken sandwich. Our food was delicious!! The salsa was the best I have ever had! It had such a spicy kick that I craved more. Let's say it cleared out my sinuses. Everything looked and tasted great! When I saw fruit with my meal I was expecting a small mix of assorted fruit. You know mango, grapes, strawberries. They gave me a small slice of an orange. I also had a dill pickle spear which was nice.Overall, I would definitely recommend. The ingredients are fresh and the quality definitely matches the price. My husbands chalupa looked good so next time I want that. If you're in the area give this place a try. It's a nice place to cool off and have a nice meal that doesn't leave you bloated."

We come from the North where Italian food is amazing, cheap, ethnic, and made with love. This restaurant doesn't disappoint. We had risotto balls for an appetizer. It didn't come with marinara sauce, which I would recommend. I had the cheese wheel which was amazing! The dessert menu is decent, but they didn't have Cannoli's. They had gelato, tiramisu, a brownie as a special. I would describe this as northern Italian cuisine. They didn't have Italian wedding soup, spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, sachatini (spelling?), stuffed shells, etc."

I had the fire roasted chicken that was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again. And the Caesar salad was tasty with the cheesy bits on top. "If you are catching a show at the Tobin this is a great place to grab dinner and walk over. There is also a garage attached to this facility. Parking is $15.It wasn't crowded and we were seated immediately. I forgot our waitress name however she had a name tag that said Mouse/Maus on it. She was great!!They do offer a lot of paring options for the meals. I captured a few photos. We did appetizers and dessert. She did say they do different flavors with their cream brûlée so we didn't try it. The bread board and calamari was great!!! I'd definitely go back just for the bread! They do put a lot of peppers in the calamari.I wasn't expecting a chocolate cheesecake even though she said it was chocolate. I was assuming it was drizzled in chocolate. Cheesecake was good though. They did have a full bar as well as a coffee machine to lattes and such. Seating was decent. There are tables and booths. I'd call ahead and check closing times also as on here it says they call at 11 however they waitress told us they were closing at 10 that night."

There is indoor and outdoor seating, a great selection of wines that are predominantly European. If you are a fan of US wines, they have a couple as well. The decor is unique, especially the facade which is alone worth the visit. Wines are reasonably priced they have a nice selection of light bites, including cheese, very fresh warm sourdough bread and olives just to name a couple of our "go to's". On select days, the airstream trailer parked outside serves up oysters and other seafood varieties. It is a perfect place to hang with friends, especially outside during the fall months."

I am picky, I worked in the restaurant and bar industry for 15years and know what great food should be. Explaining everything from the history of the location and the awesome wood burning pizza ovens imported from Italy! The atmosphere was very Italian - I lived there for a few years. The tables are very close but that helps keep the conversation intimate and personal. I would dine here again - must try the pizza next time"

Once we arrived parking was a bit difficult to find (especially on a Wednesday), since it's in a small area. Once we arrived we were greeted and quickly seated. The atmosphere was nice and had a romantic bar vibe.Once seated we ordered drinks and an appetizer (the artichoke dip) and also ordered our main courses. I ordered the Breaded Chicken and my girlfriend ordered the Basil Chicken. Both came with soup or salad, which we both ordered the soup. One chicken tortilla soup and one soup of the day. Shortly after our waitress brought us rolls w/ butter which were nice, delicious, and warm.Later our appetizer arrived, which had a nice presentation but did not have any flavor at all. It was bland and the pita chips had to be eaten with it since they had saltiness to add with it. Once we received our main courses, we were excited (since the plates looked great). But after eating the food we both were disappointed. The pasta with the Breaded Chicken was very bland and the crust was sliding off the chicken. It was very difficult to eat. As for the Basil chicken plate, the kale was not tasty at all. It had a salty kick and then a bitter aftertaste. We had told our waitress and once she spoke to the manager she provided a 10% discount for the inconvenience.I'm sorry, but I give this place 3 stars. We left disappointed, and even with the discount it was still overpriced for the taste of the food."
