"Our family dined at this establishment for the first time tonight, and it turned out to be a gem on the north side of San Antonio. The Yelp reviews were high, so I wanted to experience it for myself, and it didn't disappoint--if anything, it exceeded my expectations. The venue boasts a beautiful, rich, wedding-hall-like appearance, creating a wonderful dining ambiance. Our waiter was attentive, polite, and welcoming. The food was deliciously well-prepared, with flavors that make you want to return for more. Even the owner stopped by to say hello and ensure we were having a good experience--a nice touch of customer service. I recommend the capellini de mare and the pollo alla gorgonzola; both were delicious. In summary, this establishment provides a great Italian dining experience. We'll be back for more."

"This Smoke location is right along the River Walk, so while enjoying the great outdoor atmosphere with our food and drinks, we also got to watch and wave as the boats filled with tourists came by. We weren't very hungry, so we got the brisket nachos and two margaritas on the rocks. The nachos were very tasty and the margaritas were also very good. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and very accommodating. The day we went was a gorgeous day, so the outdoor seating was popular but not overly crowded. It was a great place to hang out along the Riverwalk."

"I ended up at this place by mere luck and the minute I walked in I knew I was in the right place for my liking. I was greeted by the manager Eric and he placed me on the vip list and gave me a vip band. Eric was friendly and very nice. As a vip I had access to happy hour all night long which was a big plus. Upon entering there was a live band doing an acoustic set and it just happened to be a local musician I've worked with before in the music scene. They played three acoustic sets for the rest of the night and they even did request. The music itself was spot on for the place. It went well with the atmosphere and I was at ease just listening to music in here. My waitress Ruby was real friendly and tended to my alcoholic needs all night long. As I mentioned before I had access to happy hour all night and it was a real treat. Low prices and good adult drinks, I definitely plan on making plans to come back on another time. On a side note happy hour happens everyday from open till 10 pm but if get vip band you have it all night."

"I was interested to see if there any more Restaurant Week places we could check out and the menu for @luceristorante piqued my interest. Hubby agreed when he took a look as well. I made reservations through Open Table for dinner tonight.We found out that the prix fixe menu is part of their regular offering. Included is a glass of sparkling wine, pinot noir or chardonnay. Hubby and I both chose pinot noir and it's really smooth. Dad and I shared the Ravioli al Quattro Formaggi/Cheese Ravioli, and Pan-Seared Sea Bass, Shrimp and Asparagus Risotto. Hubby had the Gamberi al Limone/Sauteed Shrimp, and Linguine Mare Chiaro/Pasta with seafood. We all shared the Creme Brulee and Tiramisu. The portions are pretty generous that hubby wasn't able to finish his pasta dish. It was a pleasure meeting owner and chef Joe Buonincontri. He's been blessed with running @luceristorante for 18 years! I'm looking forward to warmer weather and sitting in their outdoor patio. We were noticing that several tables ordered their pizza so we might try that the next time.If you haven't tried @luceristorante, add it to your list to check out!"

"Located at the riverwalk it's decent place for lunch and family friendly. We had chips and salsa and the street corn as starters, the street corn was particularly good and I especially liked the chips that come with it. For main dish I had the fajitas with beef the meet was good and soft and the portion was filling. The enchiladas trio and deluxe dinner were also good. Great service."

"If Freddy's Frozen Custard and Whataburger had a baby, this would be it. The burgers are decent. I like the way they dice the tomatoes and shred the lettuce. The burgers are generously stuffed with the veggies. You have to put your own mustard or mayo from the little packs. The fries are greasy, old fashioned almost like how grandma made them in the skillet back in the ghettodays on Southcross or Hackberry."

"Paesanos is one of my favorite places to eat at in SA. This location offers lots of seating. With a n option to be seated indoors, outdoors or in between in what I like to call the sun room. The sourdough bread and hummus are one of my many things which Jew me coming back. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but my Persia l favorites are the chicken Parmesan and shrimp paesano. The servers are super helpful when it comes to ordering and also come by frequently for refills. I always leave here satisfied."

"I heard about @chismosas_cantina when they were only days old. I wanted to go but I put it off. Today the perfect opportunity presented itself for me to finally show up! I was looking for a specific vibe. I wanted good snacks, a casual vibe, without feeling like I was in a dive bar or in a bougie bar. Chismosa's delivered in a way I could not have imagined! It was trivia night (Wednesday) and my friend and I decided to participate. I was not expecting tonight to be a game night for us, but boy did we have a blast! The server was absolutely so attentive! She kept the food and drinks coming all the way to the very end when we pretty much closed down the bar. The enchilada taco was so filling I only had one. It literally reminded me of how I eat my cheese enchilada plates that I get from my local taqueria, except they aren't afraid to venture out and put it on their menu. I can't be the only one in San Antonio putting their cheese enchilada, rice, and beans, inside of a warm homemade flour tortilla. Holla if you hear me! "It was first time checking it out and I loved it! First off, there is LOTS of free parking!!! we went on a Sunday where is it happy hour all day! It wasn't to crowded which I enjoyed, it's clean, even the bathrooms, there is plenty of seating inside and outside. The beer was and I tasted the best IPA I've ever tasted here! They have some small eats/snacks, but there is also a food truck available on the grounds. It's dog friendly too. The staff is pleasant too! Good atmosphere to hang out!"

Because they also do their own events such as anime nights every other Friday, and an affordable comedy show with up-and-coming artists.
