"Excellent service! This restaurant is warm and inviting. We opted for Tom-Kha soup, Papaya Salad (also known as Som Tam) and White Spring rolls paired with the iced Jasmine Tea to keep our meal light after a long walk in the park.My friend and i thoroughly enjoyed every layer and complexity of our meal. It was pure perfection! I absolutely love Thai food. And this restaurant is quite authentic. I had only had Som Tam with blue crab previously, but the dried shrimp gives it a different flavor profile (just as delicious). We did Thai spicy, I love heat and this dish did not disappoint! The soup was aromatic and coconut-cream. Spring rolls had fresh ingredients, sauce was not too peanutty. Everything was delicious. *This is a must visit restaurant here in SA. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Looking forward to trying more of their dishes."
"Pretty good Thai place, worth a stop in if you're in the mood for some Pad See Ewe or Tom Yum soup. Service is decent, the ambiance is a little odd in that it feels like three different places smashed together. We had the very good Tom Yum soup, middling Chicken Pad See Ewe and Woon Sen. Flavors were pretty basic, and the noodles were freshly wok'ed but without a bit of a sear on the noodles and veggies. Still very good, worth stopping in. (Did not try the sushi, but it looked fine.)This place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below.5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here.4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary.3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad.2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here.1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either."

"Everything was so good but packed a spice that we weren't prepared for lol. I came in for pick up and the staff were welcoming. We'll definitely be back to try more. Not pictured is the curried corn."
"Service was great, ambiance was nice but the FOOD WAS EXCELLENT!!Had the spicy Tiger roll!! YUMMERS!!The Tuna Pome Salad was Devine!! Can't dine with a sake either!! Thank you David my Lyft driver for recommending this Fab place!!"
"We came here for lunch. I had the Thai Fried Rice. My husband had the Pad Thai. Both were delicious. We both had heat level 3. You can do 0 to 6. I probably could do 4 next time. Lunch specials come with dumplings. We started with calamari which were yummy - like fried seafood onion rings. Appetizers and plates ere all made better with the Thai chili sauce.Service was smooth and efficient.Bonus: They had my jams playing 80s greatest hits!"
"The bobba tea is worth it and the staff is what makes me want to Come back, they are amazing, the place is clean and I love the atmosphere, the food is delish"
"I totally love going here. The pineapple rice is simply delicious and the presentation is on point! The service is always great and the ambiance is so relaxing. It's also great for groups, so make sure to book your next work dinner ahead of time to make sure there is enough room to accommodate your party. I will definitely be back!"
"I have been here 3 times since moving back to San Antonio. Delicious food! Fresh fish! They handle to-gos very well. Super kind employees and the helpings of food are very generous. I absolutely will return"
"Delicious food and great portions! Seating was a little hectic but little wait time to be seated. Seems family run so even better if you love to support a local business."
"I have passed this restaurant many times and I paid no attention to it. My boss raved about it and I finally decided to give it a try. They didn't disappoint. I was seated quickly after I entered the restaurant. The restaurant had nice decor. I decided on edamame and Pad Thai. The edamame was good and I had leftovers. The Pad Thai was delicious and the portion was good. I ordered it without onions(onions are the devil!). I truly regret not eating Pad Thai last year when I was in Thailand(epic fail on my end). I would know how close it was to eating it in Thailand. I enjoyed my experience and I will be there again soon with friends."
"On Friday evening, my boyfriend suggested Vietnamese for dinner. While he wanted Pho, I saw some photos of tasty vermicelli bowls that looked like they would hit the spot. After searching online, Heavenly Pho popped up in our search so we made our way slowly to the restaurant during rush hour traffic. The restaurant was decorated beautiful inside and we were greeted immediately upon entry and seated by our waiter. While our waiter took our drink orders, we browsed the menu and I decided to dine on the Vermicelli Chicken bowl that included an eggroll and shrimp, while my boyfriend selected the Pho special and an order of Crispy Calamari. Our waiter came out often to check on us and even warmed my noodles at my request for my Vermicelli bowl. While i understand we are dealing with inflation, I wasn't pleased to count 5 pieces of chicken and see 2 pieces of shrimp heaped on a bowl of noodles and bean sprouts. After viewing other restaurants and seeing what was in placed in front of me, I started to doubt our choice to dine here. I for one love eating at home and my boyfriend loves eating out, but if you are going to raise prices to around $14 a bowl, 1/3 cup of meat should at least be the standard to serve to your guest. I also wasn't pleased with the poorly cleaned shrimp with the dirt line that glowed on the plate in front of me. I felt a bit slighted as he dined on his Pho so I ended up tasting his selection, which was seasoned to perfection. He also ordered a Banh Mi to go and we paid our tab.For nearly $64 with a tip, I do believe I could have found a meal that I felt was worth the trip and cost elsewhere. When I eat out, I like to find restaurants that have ingredients that I normally don't cook with so that I feel like it was worth the trip, labor and cost. My meal, I feel I definitely could have prepared off of a YouTube tutorial and enjoyed more at home. I felt like they tried to disguise the protein under the vegetables to make you think you were getting more than you were (sigh).I did post a photo of what I expected vs what I received and will continue looking around San Antonio for other selections."
"The place is clean. Service is excellent. My pho soup came out piping hot and the broth is just delicious."

10 out of 10! Love the food here...had Shrimp Tom Yum (Spicy Lemongrass soup), Yam Nua (Thai beef salad), Kang Keo Wan Curry (Green Curry) with tofu...EVERYTHING was fresh, attractively plated, delicious and had generous portions. Excellent value! I've eaten outside and enjoyed the cute deck for outdoor dining with a koi pond. This time we ate inside. It was pleasant to dine somewhere that didn't have the music overpowering the gentle buzz of patrons chatting and munching. The server was kind and attentive and so were the other staff, especially the hostess.

10/10 every time!!! If you're wanting a warm, hearty meal then this is your spot! Everything is sooo good but my favorite is probably the brisket smokeshow. The brisket was seasoned perfectly and so tender. It's a relaxed environment, just order and the counter and they will deliver to your table. Parking is limited as it is on St. Mary's Strip but you may get lucky with the two spots in front. Otherwise, street parking will be it. Definitely recommend visiting!

Pros. Our wait staff was great. They were really professional and kind. There were two gentlemen serving us. The decor is nice. Restaurant seems clean and well managed. Menu is very diverse with lots of options including many vegetarian dishes. Red curry is delicious. Pad Thai is great as well. I liked the tofu and vegetable rice plate but the tofu was a little dry and not the best. Cons. And these are small complaints. Seating is a bit uncomfortable but I understand they are trying to fit in many tables. The restrooms had one single stall for each men and women. I could see that being an issue during a rush. Overall you could go here often and have new things to try each time. We had a pleasant dining experience and recommend!

Earlier in the week, we visited @thaitopaz for dinner. We had an anniversary discount. Buy an entrée and another entrée the same or less value would be free.Dad had Lemonade, and hubby and I had Jasmine Tea. We started with the wings. Hubby had the Lemongrass Lamb, which was cooked perfectly. I had a bite and it was great! Dad and I shared the Mango Delight with shrimp and Pineapple Fried Rice with chicken. The fruits were deliciously sweet. And we ended with Coconut ice cream. Sooo good!

One of the best asian restaurants in San Antonio that we have ever been. From servers, ambiance, to food it's an experience. The place gave touch of asian culture and the food, you get to experience the richness of their food.

"Last time got Phad Khee Mao with tofu and did not like the noodles but the flavor was good. Our waiter Patrick was very nice and attentive. I forgot to leave a review so throwing it on here. Came in today and got the same fantastic waiter. He's so great at explaining the meals I ordered the Phad Prik Pao with fresh tofu. It was pretty good too but not sure I'd order it again. The sauce was a little sweet and the spice level 7 wasn't very spicy in this dish. Next time I want to try the Phad Khing. But we'll definitely be back it's my husband's favorite place and the staff is always great. They also replaced the rickety chairs which was a nice bonus!"
"Really good! My coworker found this spot and let us know in advance that reviews said not judge a book by its cover. They're right! Service was great and the food was excellent."
"Came in on a Sunday around 11 am when they opened and there were a lot of seats available. We were easily attended too. Ordered our usual summer roll and brisket and steak pho.The broth was flavorful! The summer roll was good amount of shrimp, the peanut sauce was a tadbit too think for me. The kids meal sesame chicken was a lot for a 3 year old, so we had some to take home! Overall good dining experience here! No issues!"
"My second time coming here. Good service!Speedy service with your food as well. Always fresh and hot and great flavor!About $15 for a bowl seems a little pricey but maybes that's todays inflation. Would come back anything though."
"This place was recommended by an associate and I was told this place has great Thai food. The food wasn't that great to me. This service was OK.I ordered the Pad Thai and the dish was prepared totally different from what I had ordered from other Thai restaurants.Definitely won't be eating here again."
"Welp....they did it yet again! Whenever I have those moments where I cant figure out what I want to eat, I find myself at Thai Hut! It's something about their food that gives me the warm and fuzzies! One of these days I'm going to figure out what it is, but until then, I will continue to indulge. If you're reading this review, I think it's safe to say you're considering this place right? Well stop considering and get over there ASAP."
"This is a great place for Thai food! I absolutely love the Pad Thai here... everything is very fresh and the spice is perfect. They also have some really good Chinese dishes! I have eaten here many times over the last couple of years and it has always been consistently good. The service is also very good and the prices are fair. It's a great place for lunch!"
"Great restaurant but they are temporarily CLOSED for a long trip to Thailand. Sign says they will be back on July 7th 2024."
"The staff was extremely friendly when I went to pick up my takeout order. Everything was correct, all sauces and sides provided.Food was extremely hot, after an hour drive home it was still like it was just picked up.The chicken egg rolls and cheese rangoons were delicious. The Sesame Chicken was decent, the Lemon Chicken was over breaded. Lo mein was okay... soups weren't fantastic.I will say I did not feel very good after eating and got a bit sick :( Probably will not revisit for this reason alone."
"Reminds me of the home in Houston, the Thai food is amazing! Staff is very attentive! Highly recommend the yellow curry and pad thai."
"Thai Chef is cooking some of the most delicious Thai food I've had. The classic Drunken Noodle is spiced just enough that you know you've accomplished something, and the noodles are spot on al dente (chef's kiss). The chicken satay appetizer is tender, lightly seasoned, and accompanied by a phenomenal spicy peanut sauce. The space is intimate and warm, and managed by kind and engaged staff. This is most evident as the staff greets regulars by their first name... I love this!I highly recommend you try Thai Chef, and I have no doubt you'll add it to your dining rotation. Cheers!"
"I got delivery while in town for a conference. It was all pretty tasty. It arrived super hot even coming from way across town. I was a little bummed that neither soy sauce nor hot sauce came with the delivery and I had forgotten to ask for it specifically. Everything was to my liking otherwise. I forgot to take a pic of the pho meatballs and broth. The broth was fab. The meatballs were a little dry for my liking."
"nice mom+pop place that's close to utsa. 15% off as a student!! that pulled me in along w the menu on the door. however the posted hours on the door are incorrect, i wasnt sure if it was open. was seated immediately. menu had plenty of options. lunch comes with fried rice (6/10) and soup. egg drop soup was so good. sweet n sour chicken was fried beautifully. and juicy. owner (? an older lady) made sure to say hey :)when paying the bill however, was a little surprised at the total. the lunch plate should have been $8 +$1 for inflation and stuff. charged me $14?? turns out they charge for bottled water. makes sense but had i known before, i wouldve felt better abt seeing a different number on the receipt. didn't make a whole lot of sense. will be back! for late night munchies"
"We arrived with very high expectations on a Saturday night. There are not many restaurants that maintain a five star Yelp rating. Our expectations were met. The hospitality and sincerity is a big plus to add to a very satisfying pad khi mao!Allana is so endearing and cute, I think she is the owner. She and her servers were so focused on guests. I have added this place to my Thai rotation, it definitely deserves five stars!"
"The food was delicious! I have food allergies and the server was very helpful in guiding me in my choices. The portions were plentiful. Definitely worth a second visit!"
"The last time I lived in San Antonio, Thai Esan was not around yet. I found out about this restaurant via an Instagram post.Thai Esan is located minutes from San Antonio Medical Center area. They specialize in Esan Thai (eastern Thai) food. I have only been here once so far and it immediately became my favorite Thai restaurant in San Antonio. The dining area is clean and reminds me of an upscale Thai restaurant. It would be great for a date, meeting, or any celebration/gathering (once things settle, of course). We had Esan BBQ pork and Moo Tod Gratiem. Both came with their own basket of sweet/sticky rice. The Esan BBQ Pork came out still sizzling on the hot plate and tasted as amazing as it smelled and looked. The Moo Tod Gratiem was freshly fried and also tasted as good as it smelled and looked. At first, I thought the portions were kind of small, but quickly realized it was just the right amount. The price might be a tad bit higher than other Thai restaurants I've been to in the area, but I guarantee you that it is worth the slight hike in price. For dessert, we had fried banana roll AND coconut ice cream with sweet rice.If you have room for one dessert, I HIGHLY recommend the fried banana roll. It has the perfect crunch from the outside (wish I knew what it was coated with) and the sweetness of the banana, honey, and ice cream. Normally, the fried banana roll comes with vanilla ice cream, but they only had half a scoop left. Lucky for us, they served it with a scoop of coconut ice cream plus that half scoop of vanilla. Either way, I guarantee I would've still loved it with "just" the vanilla ice cream.I would also recommend the coconut ice cream with sweet rice if you still have room for more dessert. The ice cream, the rice, and the peanuts with the perfect crunch reminded me of grabbing ice cream off the streets of Thailand. There are SO many more options I want to try here. While I only tried these items, I have no doubt that I will be back for more and be satisfied."
"Favorite Thai restaurant in town! They've always been accommodating and quick.Gone for lunch had birthday dinners here.I have been going here since 2014 and I regard it as one of my favorite San Antonio restaurant!"
"Ordered two hot entrees, for delivery: mango fried rice and chicken pad soon set and the mango sticky rice for dessert and it arrived hot tasty fresh and satisfying! 5/5 stars tonite"
"I love Thai and like finding new places to get it at. This place is close to my work, so I stopped one day after work. They have the usual Thai food and then some. I ordered the panang. I especially liked that they were able to make it mild. Some places the mild is still too spicy. This panang was great. The waitress was nice and efficient. Parking is on site and shared with the other businesses. They only have inside seating."
"This is a small place, close to the Alamo. The ambience is not the best, but it is definitely worth coming to.The food was so fast, and so fresh. I feel like they made my sauce to order. So good."
"I love an understated whole in the wall, and Thai Lao is one of my of favorite in SA. Great fresh food, service, and kid friendly. I personally love the drunken noodle and yellow curry. My mom loves the ginger soup. This restaurant is one of our top in rotation for Asian food in the area. Small but mighty!"
"Never thought I'd be eating some amazing Thai food in Boerne! I love how cozy and authentic this place is. They also have a great selection of dishes to pick from if you aren't sure what to get. Highly recommend coming here!"
"so good! very inviting layout and decor, people there extreme friendly woth welcoming smiles.we had veg pho. super! clean, balanced broth. veggies super fresh and well cut amd presented.great with families too!"
