"Great truck! I do not know if it is still cash only, but they do not charge taxes, so I assume it is still cash only. Comes with alot of condiments. Mini tacos were good, great amount of grilled onions, and come with radishes as well. The tortilla is a bit thick, wish it was thinner or only given one. flavor wise super good, service is quick and fast. Only tack truck that i see serving birria everyday and for a great price of $10/3! What a steal. I believe all orders comes with beans as well."
"Okay so we are visiting Texas and I was determined to find a good taco truck! "Great breakfast tacos!! We got the egg/potato and added bacon...plus a couple of migas tacos. All were yummy on corn tortillas. The ladies that work at Nopal are very friendly too!"
"I've been coming here for a couple of years now. It's a great place to get some good food and catch up with friends. It's definitely a hole in the wall place with awesome tacos and tortas. Some of the best trumpo in town. The fries also have a delicious seasoning. It's a great spot to come back to."
"Great tacos, they were at my neighborhood pool so I went by instead of cooking for the fam. Loved their tacos. I had the pastor street tacos, very flavorful. The beef was very finely chopped which is a bit different but delicious! Also tried my kid's asada taco it was also delicious. The regular tacos are probably a better deal as far as amount of meat. My wife had the nachos which were surprisingly good too. I wasn't expecting much from food truck nachos but they were great. The chicken is dark meat which I love and they were just floating in cheese. The one misfire was the Mexican hotdog. I was expecting more from the bun and the dog. The beans and other toppings were good."
"Oh my goodness. Best tacos that I have had in a VERY long time! Small, quaint establishment with clean indoor and small table outdoor setting. Tacos are very reasonably priced per taco & made while you wait. The flavors of the meat, onions, cilantro, corn & pineapple all pop together in your mouth. The counter service was very helpful and will bring your food outdoors. I will definitely be visiting again. Next time I am in town I'm coming to get more!"
"Cute, clean bar. Went for a Cowboys game. Wasn't overly packed. The service for food wasn't the best, but if you have patience you'll get it and it will be hot. Nice and friendly."
"I think this is the right place - it's a taco truck called Mi Taco on the side of Rittiman in a gas station. They seem to come out sometime after 5pm and has been open past midnight. I've driven by it so many times and finally gave it a try one night. There were a lot of people waiting, for me that's always a good sign. It made the wait a little ridiculous, 25 minutes for a burrito, but at least I know it will be piping hot and fresh. The red and green salsas were both great. I had the al pastor burrito and it was a generous size, but not like some ginormous ones I've had where it's straight up 2 meals. Some people got mini tacos which looked pretty good too, next time I would bring a friend and try the tacos and eat it there. Tacos to-go are a no no for me and it's a little too sketchy for a girl to eat there by the truck alone at night."
"Great food Great location A neighborhood gem only known if you know the area a must try"
"After driving by this place too many times, decided to finally give them a shot. I'm now mad at myself for not going sooner. Got just two tacos, a carne guisada and a bean and cheese. I'm a mean critic of taco places and don't leave reviews of places that are meh, but trust me, this place has it going on. The carne guisada had a proper amount of red chile in it, few places do. Proper beans made with lard I could tell. Every bite of every taco was not just good but amazing. The fresh flour tortillas were outstanding. From just two tacos I guarantee I'm gonna be a regular now, cannot recommend this place enough."
"Fresh clean new taco truck!! Food is made to order, so have patience. If not go elsewhere, where food is waiting for you. I got the beef fajita taquitos, the fajitas were soft & tasty, they come with grilled onions & cilantro, if you dont want this let them know! But, that`ll be your loss. The avocado was fresh, extra (of course). The beans some with pork skins & cut wieners, very different & delicious! . Got me a Mexican coke, super cold!! Forget about. just come & get some. They take credit too, chido baby!"
"Unbelievably good al pastor tacos. So juicy and tender, and flavor was unbelievable. Saw some white dude drop by and take off without ordering. His loss. Come and see authentic San Antonio. Chef lived in El Paso for a bit and came out here 2y ago. Carne asada is good. But al pastor is truly spectacular. Add the guacamole sauce. And cebollas y cilatro. Qualifications. 10 y in El Paso and I party in juarez every other weekend and travel around Mexico and the world. A lot."

The flavors I was searching for in a taco! This food was delicious and was truly the best food I had during my visit to San Antonio. We got the tacos and quesadilla, both with beef. I wish Los Vecinos was in my city. I'd only go to Los Vecinos!

This place is so good! True authentic Mexican food. The best taco truck in San Antonio, definitely worth the visit. We tried a little bit of everything, and truly enjoyed all the food. The sauces also add a good flavor to different meats!

Oh my Gawd, this place was everything I wanted it to be. The service was great and the street tacos were absolutely phenomenal. They made me do a happy dance with each bite. I just wish they were open more days so I could grab some more before heading back home. This is a must-get while visiting the riverwalk!

I was attending a conference at the convention center and wanted to grab a quick lunch that was off the Riverwalk. I found this small taco joint just a 10-minute walk away. They offer a very limited menu, but the tacos were outstanding. I am a big fan of street tacos and these did not disappoint. They only serve Al Pastor, but they were delicious. They were served with finely chopped white onions, cilantro, and a very thin slice of pineapple. Four salsas accompanied my tacos. So good! The server/chef was very friendly. The shop looks newly renovated and was very comfortable. I highly recommend stepping away from the riverwalk to try these tacos.

I can't believe they have a yelp now! I went here for the first time years ago....and I STILL dream about their tacos. Hands down my favorite street tacos. Fresh as always, great service, amazing flavor! I would die and go straight to heaven if they maybe experimented with some different salsas. They do the classic green & red, but I know they could make other really good ones. Just an idea .

"While always a fan of the margaritas here, today I just came for the food. I grabbed a table and ordered from the QR so we'd have a spot for the whole group. The food ordered in line arrived much quicker. Chips and blanca queso were the highlight, as usual. I love the location and atmosphere. Parking, meh. Get a ride so you can enjoy the margaritas."
"I can't enough of their birria ramen. My wife loves their asada fries. Owner is really nice and they offer great service. Highly recommended"
"Impossible to pick a #1 taco location in our beautiful city but Tacos al Carbon Cabron is right there among the elite. Food truck / bricks morter combo that works really well. Mesquite coal inferno powers the taco cooking outside while patrons, jarritos, salsa bar stay cool inside listening to festive rhythms.Fun place. Owner??/manage?? Was super nice and checked on us several times and clearly is putting in the effort to create excellent fare.Three main dishes to choose from - tacos (pollo, asada, al pastor), mulitas (cheesy, meaty gold) and vampiritos (similar but on crisp tortilla). Hot, served a few seconds off the grill. Big selection of chilled, ultra-fresh salsas, chiles, radishes etc at the salsa bar. Trust me, you will want to try all of these...Also had a tasty unique dish called Chile Cabrone. Consists of chile, sliced open, stuffed with cheese, meat and a splash of soy sauce. It works ans its great!!Get off of your couch and get you some tacos cabron!Oh and take a snap with Wemba at the cool mural outside on the wall. Wembamania just starting to heat up."
"What a neat place! Came here for lunch and my party of 3 was seated right away. It was my very first time coming here and it definitely felt like home! I love all the funky decor. I ordered the ground beef puffy taco plate and crispy dogs as an appetizer. The crispy dog was the best one I've had. So delicious. This place is famous for their puffy tacos, though. I liked them, but I think the oil that the tortillas was fried in was not fresh and I could taste it. I also thought the rice was a bit dry. It had good flavor, but it was so subtle, it kinda just tasted like white rice. So I'd really like to see the flavor on the rice really amped up. The salsa that is served with the chips was not spicy at all and really disappointing. Also not a lot of flavor on that either. I'd come here again and bring folks from out of town! It's an experience for sure!"
"my favorite thing from here was the al pastor tacos! they truly did it justice.also got the asada tacos and i give them a 4/5 stars.my family and i dined in & the service was amazing as well & attentive, they gave us a variety of sauces to choose from at the table.there was plenty of tables as well and it wasn't so crowded on black friday.ambiance: cute & definitely a consistent aesthetic"
"Greasy spoon Tex-Mex spot! This place has some big portions, dishes covered in gooey cheese, refried beans with lard in it, and nice fluffy tortillas. I went for the Chilequiles plate- which is always a Tex-Mex favorite. It was covered in cheese, served up with tortillas, refried beans, and potatoes that are charred up nicely. The salsa verde was a bit on the hot side, and full of flavor. The prices were quite reasonable! I was happy to see the bill- I should be coming here more often. The portions are huge, and the food is good! The coffee was a bit on the weak side, but the service was good, and the singing cook in the kitchen had some good tunes. This place is Spurs proud! Go Spurs Go! They're huge fans and it seems like eating here is positive mojo for Los Spurs!"
"This is my first time eating this, and it was not bad. Huge portions, lots of sauce, and the staff was friendly. They bring the food to your table as well.Only gripe is that there were some flies flying around as I ate. But other than that, it was very tasty."
"Mini tacos 5/5 great fresh tasting grilled meat, plenty of toppings. Great cheese!Salsa 5/5 put it on everything! Great on the tacos, rice, chips..."
"I love this place! Not just the best tacos in town, but also the best Venezuelan food. The portions are great and the food is fairly priced. The owner is the sweetest man and his wife is just lovely as well. Great seasoning and you can tell they love what they do. They open really early which is awesome too!"
"Out of all the taquerias and Mexican restaurants in the area, this place has been my go-to spot for breakfast tacos for a while now. And I've tried every Mexican restaurant's breakfast tacos around the Churchill HS area for comparison. I love the guero and TNS tacos the most. The quality is pretty consistent. Prices are a little more than average but the it's worth it. Once in a while the tacos might be a little smaller than I like, but for the amount of times I've eaten here, it's ok. I've had smaller tacos from so many other restaurants that it's almost the norm now. The salsa bar is a huge plus so you can change up your flavors but it's a small area so it can take a little bit to get your salsas. Their service is fast and has never been issue."
"PROS:* Delicious food specializing in the popular birria tacos and stew.* Friendly staff and accommodating proprietors.* Open seating area with fun ambiance music (today's was 80s, but they also play Mexican artists).* Though a limited birria themed menu, they feature generous portions and a few other staples like tamales, cafe de olla and tamales (see photos). CONS:* No complaints, but I think table service would be a nice touch for dinner. This was my first experience at a birria specialized establishment. But my brothers quite enjoy this establish and we will be back (when I'm back in town).Special note: my mom forgot her phone there on my visit. We didn't discover it until we got home 5 minutes before closing time. My mom offered a tip for the wait staff or the proprietor that waited almost 30 min after closing, but they respectfully declined and were only happy we were repeat patrons. The five stars are for the food and the service."
"Simply a good tortilla for any breakfast taco. I personally do like them a little thicker but they were delicious. Place is also very clean."
"Great ambiance, excellent prices, DJ kept the mood going, managers hooked it up with a free round of drinks for me and my friends, had a great time, will decéntelo come back!!"
"$3.09 for a big spoon full of guacamole. (And the price is correct, i asked) I Love the food though. Good red enchiladas."
"Slaps plain and simple. def will be back. Cant miss unless u dont know what ur ordering."
"Food, service, omg this place is insane.Chips are the most perfect toritlla chip. Could use some extra lime and salt.Tacos were unreal. I'm a white guy in town from Denver, and holy shi*.10/10 would recommend, and prices are more than fair. 5 tacos 2 drinks for $25(2 tacos feeds one person)"
"I stopped into Plantaqueria while staying nearby for business. I enjoy trying vegan spots throughout my travels and seek them out. Upon entering the restaurant it was filled with something burnt. Like pretty perverse. Minus a star as it meant dining in would be unpleasant. Anyways, the employee was friendly and the menu was easy to navigate. I got the Birria, a side of charro beans and chips and guacamole. All to go. It took about 5 minutes to be prepared. During the wait I got some green and red salsa, which spoiler alert they both were quite unremarkable. I enjoy hot sauces and salsas but these were meh. No real flavor. The birria was quite good with fake meat and vegan cheese. It came with dipping sauce which I didn't find it elevated the dish. However I would get it again. The guacamole was good. The chips crisp but covered in oil. The charro beans were good. All in all I enjoyed the meal however I had higher hopes. I will try them again but likely order something else."
"Solid five stars you gasp? Yes Yes Yes!Ok for those with low blood sugar and need a quick delicious pick me up...a Big, Huge....Go! Trust meBack story for those with time to read. This area next to the Alamo and a stones throw from the Riverwalk is tourist central. So when I came out of the Ralston Family Collections Center and wanted a snack,I was suspicious. The last thing I wanted to do was over pay for mediocre as is typical of these areas However,I was getting back in my vehicle for more long range driving and didnt want to stop. So,I took a chance. I felt neutral walking in and up to, for counter service. Simple menu, reasonable prices and good service. So far so good. I ordered, served myself a beverage and took a seat outside. In less than 5 minutes, just as promised ,she brought my food and inquired as to ,anything else! Nice The food looked great and tasted better. I was pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. So,skip all the other stuff and land here. Thank me later ."
"I am always on the hunt for good Birria tacos. This truck recently opened on FM1560 near the snack bar food truck. There are flags and signs to help find your way to the truck. I got there around 4:45 pm. They open at 5 pm and there was already a line. They opened at 4:50 and it did not take long to order and get our food. This taco truck has a really good system of who is working so that the flow of customers keeps steady. I ordered 4 birria tacos. We have the option to add all the fixings (onion, cilantro and chile) to it or on the side. Each Birria taco is $2. Consume is not included so you need to add that to the side for an additional $2. You are given a good portion of consume and with Birria meat in it. I also ordered 4 quesabirra tacos for $3 each. They have an array of agua Fresca and you can mix them too. If you want watermelon pineapple that is doable. I went for a pineapple agua with the chile and all the goodness that goes on it. Fruit is fresh and generous serving. The flavor of the tacos were very good. I enjoyed the salsas that come with it. The consume was perfect with these tacos. These tacos had a lot of meat in each taco there was always meat in each bite. Everything had great flavor. I did enjoy the outdoor area to sit and eat.I suggest you get there early because they do sell out each night. Like I said before they have a good system going so the wait isn't that long."
"Amazing tacos! Fast and friendly service. Not to mention the affordable price. Will definitely return. So glad to find a place close to home. Thank you Righteous Tacos!! You rock!"
"Good value, tasty tacos and warm friendly service. Outstanding house made salsa (just the right amount of spice, not too salty). And the dipping sauce for the street tacos was just the icing on the cake. We will be back for more!!!"
"Let's start off with the fact that the restaurant was very clean warm and quiet. The waitress was very kind and tentative. I ordered the fajita combination plate. It had beef and chicken fajitas and shrimp. The onions and green bell peppers were sautéed to perfection. I would definitely recommend this spot and will be back!!!!"
"This is a small shack, right across the Petro Truck Stop. Very unassuming and simple, there are only two signs, "Tacos & Burritos", and "Breakfast Tacos". Straight to the point.I had the breakfast tacos, filled with chorizo and potatoes, as well as the al pastor tacos (grilled pork). They came hot and fresh, and they were delicious. It's a perfect place to have your meal after a long day of driving on the road. There are a few other varieties offered on the menu as well. Standard Mexican or Tex-Mex fast food, but really good. And the service was friendly."
