Don't let the outside fool you there are amazing ingredients and people inside. Pro tip: call and make a reservation. This place got crowded fast after 6pm. They don't have a liquor license but encourage you to bring a favorite bottle along to complement the meal.Food is stellar from the guacamole and ceviche appetizers to the mains like the flautas de lechon, shrimp tacos, and much much more. My kids loved the quesadilla plate and the plantains. Dessert is where the real show is. We tried the flambed flan topped with cinnamon and it was so good."

Tonight is sooo cold and rainy. After we finished our workout and walked out of Planet Fitness I immediately knew I wanted some pho. Thankfully this place is right next door!! I got some beef pho to go and WOW it hit the spot. Everything was carefully packed and I had the most delicious bowl of pho as soon as I got home. Highly recommend!

I love this amazing quaint and intimate restaurant in the Alamo heights area. This hidden gem is tucked away in a business park within a few minutes walk from Brakenridge park and the witte museum.We decided to have lunch on a Sunday afternoon right after visiting the Witte museum. I made reservations ahead of time just in case. The restaurant is pretty small, so I would recommend making reservations if you want to dine during a busy time. We were warmly greeted and sat at our table right away. The ambiance is very cozy and quiet. Our friendly server explained the menu to us and also gave great recommendations. The menu categorizes some dishes that are traditional Cuban and Mexican classics. For drinks they do not serve alcohol, but they welcome BYOB if you would like to drink with your meal. We started out with coffees before ordering appetizers, main dishes and sides. Everything tasted fresh, delicious and beautifully presented! You can tell the preparation with each dish is well thoughtout. Definitely not a dining experience you want to rush. I'm so happy to have found Paladar and can't wait to come back for dinner with a bottle of wine!

This place is great for when you are too tired to cook but still want to eat healthy and fresh food. It felt good being able to order my kids a bowl of freshly grilled chicken, peas/beans and fruit while I had a yummy steak salad and hubby had a fajita wrap. Quick fresh food!

Warm and friendly service. Great taste and large portion. Enough to take home. We had soup, ragoons and a beef and rice dish. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty. Perfect spice. The restaurant is clean and good seating options. The food was ready quickly. We will definitely eat here again.

"Really good food. The waiter was busy but attentive and friendly. Food came out pretty fast. I had Korean Kim chi noodles with beef, two of my children had the miso noodles (one beef and one shrimp), and two others had the Thai coconut curry chicken. We all enjoyed our food. The 2 beef noodle diners would probably prefer chicken or vegetable next time instead of beef because it's a fatty cut to us. The shrimp diner was very happy with their selection. Portions are huge. The noodles were enough for dinner as well and the curry eaters were stuffed past dinner. I can't wait to go back and try more."

The restaurant is always super clean and staff are so kind & helpful. When you walk in the door, go straight back to the counter in the back to make your order. They have large menu screens above the register, hand held laminated menus or a we code if you prefer to use that for the menu. My go to dishes are usually the pho and the hubby loves their combo fried rice. Service is quick. Food is consistently good and the atmosphere is family friendly. "Growing up and subsequently going to college in different parts of northern California, I grew up with the assumption that hole in the wall Chinese restaurants were usually the most authentic and best tasting. Thinking this and missing California this weekend, I decided to give Full House a try, but I'm not sure it really met my expectations.I will say, their portion sizes are generous and their food comes out quickly, for a very fair price given the amount of food that you get. The dishes themselves will also do in a pinch, but I don't feel like it was white I was looking for.The beef lo mein, to start with, was by far the highlight of the meal. It was well prepared, with the noodles not overcooked or undercooked, and a generous amount of meat.The sesame balls were a little more cooked than I'm used to but not overcooked (the sesame seeds were toasted pretty dark), but had a good outside to filling ratio. Also, hot and freshly made, which was something I deeply missed.The sweet and sour pork was sort of a miss. The pieces of pork were very tiny, sort of fingertip sized, and there was only pineapples - not bell peppers or onions or anything like I'm accustomed to. The sweet and sour sauce was kind of bland, had more of a vinegar kick to it than anything else, but not bad. The cream cheese wontons/rangoons were cooked a little unevenly so they were really chewy in the middle but really thoroughly cooked at the tips, and they tasted sort of fishy, like they'd been fried in oil just used to fry fish in. Overall, it wasn't quite what I was expecting, but it was a decent and fairly priced restaurant that will do when you're in need of a quick lunch."

"Wow I can't believe I've never been here. I don't live far either. I came across it online. Saw the menu and was blown away. Asian and Latin mix? What a beautiful combo. My husband is half Puerto Rican and when we saw Puerto Rican dishes on the menu we knew it was a must try. Threw me off that it was inside of a gas station but it's definitely a hidden gem. Everything was so tasty and the portions are hefty. We bought 2 orders of tostones thinking one wouldn't be enough but one order is definitely enough they are Huge. I make mine crispier but they were still good. The chicken and teriyaki with fried rice was so fulfilling. Again bigger than expected. The plantains were delightful and those Latin wontons...amazing. This place was a hit with the family. Will be a returning customer :)"
