"Dropped by a late Saturday afternoon and there was already a line. Line moves a bit slow but totally worth it. Menu is on the wall with tons of items so the slow moving line actually worked in my favor.Italian Ice Large - $4.50Got a strawberry and a mango with chamoy and lucas. Both were fabulous in flavor and cheap for the quantity/quality. Wasn't too sweet, didn't taste artificial, and super refreshing and flavorful on a hot day.Corn in a Cup Large - $4.50Corn was filled to the brim with corn, cheese, mayo, and they give you the option to add in lucas, lime, and a spicy mixture. Great flavor with everything you'd expect on an Elote. I appreciated finding a second layer of cheese and mayo halfway down the Styrofoam cup so that it wasn't just the first few inches that had the extra stuff with the corn.Had a great snack with both sweet and savory options. Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area!"
"My boyfriend and I come here at least once a week if not more. We have tried most things on the menu at this point and every food and drink item we've tried has been delicious. I especially have enjoyed the elote (corn in a cup) and aguas frescas topped with chamoy and fruit. It's a cute little spot and we are usually in and out in under 15 minutes. It's nice that the employees speak Spanish as my boyfriend speaks Spanish to communicate well with them. Our orders always come out perfectly."
"Great little place, a little out of my way, sad to say I hadn't discovered this little gem since it's been in business for nearly 10 years. Waitress was very attentive in a caring, not overburdensome way. I asked for Wifi and she worked with me a few times to get the password without much luck. I'm sure they'll have it figured out soon. Super kind and caring people, great pho, I highly recommend!"
"Cheat day was a total success due to this place ! ! Was driving by and literally did a U-turn to go back and satisfy my sweet tooth. We parked, got out and ordered. The guy working the window let us know we could get back in our car and get in the drive thru line to wait for our treats since it was STUPID cold outside. How awesome is that ?! That made our visit even better. I got a funnel cake and a coconut blue shaved ice. Both were the tastiest thing I have had in a long time. The guy brought our food out to us from the back door so we could cut around the car in front of us and leave. Best customer service evvveerrrr ! ! I regretted and loved every second of this meal."
"When you want a snack-ie snack hit this place up! Delicious treats, excellent customer service, family owned & operated. Also picked up some filter water that tasted great 5 gallons for like two dollars honestly cannot beat that !"
"The shakes were differently good. By that, they tasted more of chocolate flavor than chocolate ice cream. In my case, it was well received. I got the 16 oz shake which was the SMALL (don't forget, everything is bigger in Texas). I'd probably drop in there again when in town. You should too.It did take almost 15 minutes to get our shake. I hope that was just because of sparse help."

I love italian ice and this place did not disappoint. The flavors all taste like real fruit and is super refreshing. The small is pretty filling on its own, so definitely share!

5 star service from the friendly staff! Clean, calm spot (when I came anyway)! I've passed by before and there was lots of people! It's evident too from the laid out & roped off entrance & exit, which organizes how to line up w/ directions as you enter. Woman who I ordered with was really nice. Answered my question inquiring what was in the cucumber split-mango Italian ice and more! I wanted it to be smaller so I didn't order it. Ordered nachos w/ jalapeños and a small strawberry Italian ice. Nachos were the familiar favorite & exactly as expected. Italian ice was super soft and quite tasty. It wasn't at all overly sweet, in fact, I kind of wanted sweeter. I also didn't ask if it was an option to get two different kinds in the choice of flavors. I didn't even think about it. Honestly, for the taste I wanted, a mini with one scoop would've served me perfectly. Some of the other snacks looked like super sized snacks. I just wanted little snacks. Ha. Maverick, who is the assistant manager & prepared both of my things was super friendly & when I told him I wanted the cucumber split, but thought it was too big, he said to try it next time because it's served in the same dish as the nachos, so it's not very big. He also said the Italian ice does pretty well in the freezer if you don't finish it. Aguas frescas are also made fresh in house. I'll be back to try at least a few more things on their extensive menu! Only criticism is beyond their control, or maybe something to bring up with building management since it's outside of the store- There were a couple of unhoused people sitting next to the building drinking and tweeking. They weren't a bother but in that mental state, we all just have to be safe & aware of our surroundings (wherever we go, really), that's all.

Excellent Pho! I had the P7 Chicken Pho and tried the Tofu Pho, both were amazing. I ordered a spring roll with peanut sauce and it was absolutely delicious. I have had Pho before and it's usually salty, this one was not, which is nice. Definitely will come back when visiting San Antonio again.

This is one of my many neighborhood fruiteras & it's always a pleasure to go through the drive threw, the fruit is always fresh, and I also tried the deep fried Oreos for the first time & it reminded me of the state fair carnival. Great customer service, and they also have a rewards system.

With the most accommodating and pleasant staff and absolutely delicious local food, it's no wonder this family-run spot is tops on Yelp! If I could go higher than five stars I would.

Stopped by for something cold and refreshing for dessert. My gf tried to order the agua mineral preparada but they said they were out? Seems weird that they would run out of Topo Chicos, because they definitely still had lime and tajin.Instead she got a limon agua frescas and it was good. I got the sandiada and it had a weird texture. I was expecting like a slush but it was more like a paste. Not bad, but a few of the pieces of watermelon tasted like soap. I'm not sure what was going on there. I don't know that I'd come back again.

I love shaved ice. It's a summertime favorite of mine and when I drove by Frostbites, I immediately had to pull over and check it out. I wasn't sure what New Orleans style Sno-Ball was, but I was definitely willing to find out.I was SO happy to see the different flavors they have. Including pickles, pickle juice, chamoy, and lukas. So far I've only gotten to Chamango (which is mango, chamoy, and lukas) but I plan to try different flavors very soon. I wasn't sure what the difference between Hawaiian shaved ice and New Orleans style was, but apparently it is the size of the ice on top. I really enjoy the New Orleans style because they put a funnel over the top of the ice to make it smaller and the majority of your treat is in a large cup (read: a lot less mess, especially when trying to take your shaved ice home!) The shaved ice itself is really, really good. Enough syrup to cover all of the ice in your cup, but not to where you have a pool at the bottom when you're finished. The first time that I went, they were cash only. Luckily I had cash on me, but it did keep me from visiting subsequent times. I recently went back and they now accept credit cards, which means my visits will become more frequent. The price is really, really fair for the amount that you receive. The service is friendly and fast. They do tend to get busy in the later afternoon and early evening. There is no place to sit and enjoy your treat because it's in a parking lot, but your shaved ice can easily be transported. If you're in the area, stop at Frostbites for a cool, tasty, inexpensive treat!

"We were in search of shaved ice/snowcone to cool us off on a hot day and found Frostbites on the search. I hadn't looked too much at the reviews and didn't realize that it was a food truck. Google maps initially directed us to the plaza area where the stores were instead of the parking area where the food truck was.The New Orleans style intrigued me and they were so nice to provide us with samples of the shaved ice and different flavors. Pillowy soft ice for sure and very reasonable prices! My husband and I both had the Cajun sizes though after I got started, it felt like a lot for me. I had the Blueberry and Pina Colada combo. I think the Blueberry took over the Pina Colada taste and color in my cup. That's the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars. My husband had the Root Beer and Strawberry and enjoyed his. Strawberry is one of their more popular flavors.Until I looked at the reviews, I didn't realize that this food truck has been around for several years already!Definitely a great one to remember for more hot summer days!"
"I ordered an Elote Loko with Hot Cheetos and it was absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend it, it's such a hole in the wall type of place."
"Shaved ice and corn in a cup. The perfect summer snack combo. What I love about Snow Monkey is they have what they call "natural" flavored shaved ice. So instead of the sugary, sticky syrup, they put real fruit and juice on the fluffiest ice ever. Mango, pina colada, strawberry, coffee, tamarindo, etc. You still have your choice of about 50 syrup flavors too, if that's your thing. The reason for only four stars is because I wish they had a better hang out spot to sit and enjoy the ice. Instead, there are two small tables that may or may not be available, and you are so close to Fredericksburg Rd that you hear and smell Via busses drive by every 5-7 minutes. Still doesn't keep me from going."
"Wonderful little place. Reminds me of the snack shops in Laredo and the valley.Stopped next door to get an appliance and while we were waiting the kids and I snuck next door to la Chiquita for some scoops and fun.The staff is super nice and friendly. There's plenty of flavors of ice cream, paletas, and tons of snacks. All your favorite drinks like topo Chico and big red are present and ready to wash down whatever you're eating. Don't miss this neighborhood gem!"
"Everything fresh made to order. Generous portions. Clean establishment. A variety of selections to choose from. You'll find a treat to your liking for sure."
"Great service, polite employees and the owner was very hospitable. Would recommend the funnel cake, the Gorilla Drank as well as the Gorilla Blood."
