"A great brunch place ! The wait was a bit long but I would say it was worth it. My visit included my family of 5. The service we received was wonderful. I was able to take picture of our meals. Warm comfort food found here. A mix of German and American cuisine. This restaurant is actually pretty small but they make it work and not crowded. Something I loved was that the syrup for my pancake came in a warm bottle and I really enjoyed that haha. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because end of service the check still has a "credit card charge" from Covid. ( bring cash if you can) It's 2024 the owner should definitely change that."
"Love this place, come here often with my friend. We like the wing Wednesdays and the wells are decently priced. The bartenders are always attentive and nice, they do a great job! During the day there's not a lot of people but after 5 it's pretty poppin. Love when they have events and the people we've met there are all cool as well ! OMG and please try their brisket nachos and popcorn SO GOOD!"

"We finally had a chance to come and try this place out, with the kids.We are so thankful for spots with playgrounds. Especially when they have great drinks and eats. The kids had a great time on the playground and were entertained while we kicked back and relaxed. I had the cucumber margarita, frozen and on the rocks but favored on the rocks. It was nicely balanced and helped cool me off in this Texas heat! The hubs had the pear snap beer and fresh kicks hazy IPA. He was really looking forward to the Electric Jelly Fish but they were out. I just need to say, the fries here are so good. They were the stand out dish all around, and they're a side. My girls really enjoyed the chicken strips, they were tender, juicy and a good portion size. The cheesesteak was nothing extraordinary, kinda plain tasting but not terrible. I don't think it's really the thing to get here. Not pictured is the burger with just about everything except avocado. Lettuce, tomato, pickles, cheese and bacon. My husband devoured it and boasted about its deliciousness. We didn't get to partake in any live music but the stage setup is really nice and there is plenty of seating. If you're lucky you can snag a table with a fan! Everyone here is super friendly and service was pretty quick with drink and food orders."
"While always a fan of the margaritas here, today I just came for the food. I grabbed a table and ordered from the QR so we'd have a spot for the whole group. The food ordered in line arrived much quicker. Chips and blanca queso were the highlight, as usual. I love the location and atmosphere. Parking, meh. Get a ride so you can enjoy the margaritas."
"Such a cute brunch spot in San Antonio! Came here for a work lunch and I was pleasantly surprised to have plenty of vegetarian friendly options to choose from (sweet and savory). I got a plate of avocado toast, which was served with four thick half slices of brioche toast, and a scoop of avocado that almost was like a guacamole scoop in regards to consistency. I also got their pink latte, which is essentially a white mocha with beet coloring, and while it was super sweet I was a fan. It was like drinking pink chocolate! The ambiance is very bright, pink, fresh, and open. I would love to come back to try some of their sweet items like the churro donuts or cookies and cream French toast."
"Burgers are huge! Juicy, cooked just right and everything in my burger was fresh and delicious! As soon as we walked in we were greeted at the door with a menu. Service was top notch. They have an outdoor area and indoor with music playing. A cool hangout place. Bike night last Thursday of the month for those motorcyclists. Plus Adam Richman from Man vs Food has visited and eaten here. Highly recommend it!!"
"I found Slider Provider at the Essex Modern City Second Saturday Night event in January 2019. This is the first place I have seen them, but hope to see them around town again! They have a variety of options and would like to sample some more. The sliders were so juicy and make a great snack as you hangout here! Each order also comes with a bag of Vicky's chips. For the sliders, I chose the beef option, but you can also choose chicken. I had the Lil' Kahuna, Cowboy From Hell, and Chuck Norris (from my picture left to right). Lil' Kahuna had a great mix of full flavor and the pineapples weren't too overwhelming. The Cowboy From Hell was truly spicy and flavorful if you need some heat. The Chuck Norris was my favorite...sweet, spicy, with a roundhouse of flavor in the slider ground beef patty! Sliders from a food truck, new concept perhaps, but perfectly satisfying!"
"Yummmmm! This place was definitely better the second time around. The food was delicious and had lots of flavor. The wait was still a little long so I would definitely make a reso. The service was great. The restaurant was a little dated but still very comfortable. This was redeeming!"
"This place is so different and fun! I love the surroundings and how it's in the middle of no where . The burgers are so good and the service is amazing! i love how authentic the people are there and they even have live music sometimes . i do know that they were just burned down which is sooo sad but i think there raising money to re build so if you see a go fund me add too it because they're sooo fun and yummy!!"
"The seating was in a cool spot opposite the courtyard and river that afforded pleasant air-conditioned comfort. There was soft pop music playing that served as appropriate background without being too distracting or overbearing. The meal started with the wonderful bread and butter that was put in front of me. The bread was soft, warm and fresh with a crust that was crispy but easy to bite into. It was accompanied by a pad of butter that was sprinkled with what resembled poppy seeds; unusual but delicious, and a delight to spread on bread. The main event followed, a yummy linguini pasta with clams. The sauce was a tasty white wine sauce with bits of red herbs similar to pimientos. It was topped with shredded parmesan cheese. What a wonderful meal, with just the right portion. This was a birthday dinner to treat myself after enduring some stressful past few months. The final act of this awesome experience was the Pistachio Ricotta Cake, a slightly sweet, layered delicacy surrounded by fresh fruit."
"Small, cozy place in Southtown. Came here for a date night and celebration. They had a tasting menu that was available Tues-Thurs nights for a limited time that is like a restaurant week menu for a decent price. We had a great variety of food and everything was phenomenal. The grilled octopus tastes almost as good as octopus we had in Kyoto. The short ribs were super tender. The tostadas were light, citrusy and refreshing. The butternut squash cheesecake was a perfect and interesting dessert. Never thought about putting squash into a cheesecake but flavors were subtle and not too sweet. The forest cake was thick and rich though - you def need a glass of milk to go with that.Service was quick. The waitress was super attentive and made great recommendations! We were lucky we got in before the tasting menu trial period ended. We'll def be coming back!"
"Full belly never disappoints in flavor! This was my first time at this location, and the food is just as good as the original. Unfortunately, my pineapple Brie appetizer, didn't have any Brie! It was so good that I didn't even realize it until I looked at the menu again, but still... The chorizo hash was OMG delish. The side of focaccia with blueberry jam was okay; there are probably better choices. The service was excellent; we were the only ones there. The ambiance does not compare to the original, but gets points for the groovy floor. I will 100% go back for the food."

My friend and I stopped in after taking our dog to the park around the corner. They have an outdoor seating area with a great ambiance that attracted us along with being right next to where we stay. The food absolutely blew me away! Everything was so fresh and delicious with amazing service. I can't wait to return and try more items!

Daydrinking is always a great time when you can vibe out in a lowkey spot with great drinks, music you like and small snacks. We walked to Burlesons from Alamo Beer Co. and were excited to see that they have happy hour on Saturdays and ALL DAY SUNDAY. Who doesn't love happy hour? The margaritas seemed to be the star on Yelp and they indeed were in real life. My strawberry margarita on the rocks was great, I loved that the flavor wasn't overpowering and the lime still shined through. The prickly pear margarita was good too, first time trying this flavor. It was sweet and tart, well balanced and with it frozen it definitely tasted like a popsicles. Let's talk about these fried pickles. I probably could've ate two more baskets they were good af. I love a good bread and this was so flavorful and was hitting all the right spots. I don't know if the music playlist is the same all the time but they were on one yesterday. Chill spot to enjoy a margarita and maybe even play some cornhole, check 'em out.

Came here twice in the last week, both times for lunch, once with coworkers and once with my wife. I've tried the Cuban, Brisket, Birria, smashburger and the chimichurri steak tacos, with sides as queso Blanco and the guacamole. Out favorite taco was the smashburger one followed by the cuban taco. All of them were freshly made, sides were yummy, and the lunch special for about $15 can't be beat. It does take a few minutes for your order to ve ready, however even with a good crowd, it moces fairly quickm The tacos are pretty large and two was enough for me. The place itself seems nice, has a good vibe, but the chairs are all metal and kinda stiff and noisy. Great for lunch and I will definitely come back!

Celebrated my bday with my girls here recently! Box St is literally the perfect spot to meet up for mimosas and yummy eats! The menu has familiar items with unique twists to satisfy every appetite. The decor is fresh and modern, the vibes are fun. Be prepared to have a great time catching up with friends while enjoying delectable dishes. I have tried multiple items on the menu and have enjoyed them all. The service is always friendly and attentive, even on the busy days. The prices may be high for some but they are worth it in my opinion. Give em a try and decide for yourself!

So I actually visited the restaurant twice in one week because the jalapeño burger was so good I had to go back. Each time I will say the warm customer service and attention to my experience was top notch. I have to share that I killed a cockroach that was crawling up the side of the wall where I was sitting and then I gave it to the waitress to throw away. Besides that I would recommend highly

This is a cute restaurant. When we arrived, there were a lot of people waiting to be seated. Always a great sign!! Once we were seated, our waitress came over and greeted us. She was super friendly and gave a few recommendations, since it was our first time. Of course, I got the pancakes. My coworker opted for lunch. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The portion sizes are more than enough. Everything we had was delicious. I would definitely return when in the area.

"Pretty damned good overall. The sauce on the pork rib was awesome, and even though I'm not usually a fan of greens, they were excellent. The potatoes with the prime rib, however, were a bit too salty for my taste. The asparagus was just okay--not out of this world. The service was very awesome, and it was cool being able to see them work in the kitchen. The atmosphere is great, making it perfect for special occasions.Dessert was a mixed bag. The Tiramisu was not impressive at all, but they brought out some little desserts at the end, which was a nice touch. They also sent us home with an awesome piece of chocolate cake with raspberries inside and a fancy gold flake on top. That was much better than the Tiramisu. (we paid for the Tiramisu, but the extra little desserts at the end seemed to be part of the experience - the chocolate cake with raspberries seemed to be part of the birthday dessert with no additional charge). We left with many sweets, so I'm really not sure what we paid for.Overall, a great place with some standout dishes and excellent service."
"My daughter picked this place for one dinner before heading back to school and it was a good pick.I have not been here for a while and usually go to brunch ( so sadly those delicious mimosa flights were not on the menu) but it was a great experience.Love the small interior and a fun crowd of all ages! Service was fast and friendly throughout the night.Began with a gin and bubbles cocktail which was delicious while my husband tried a local IPA flight! The standout of the night was the truffle mushroom Mac n' Cheese! Everyone loved it and we should have ordered more! I don't even like pasta much but this was incredible! We also had the Brussels sprout , brash with dips and cheese board! The cheese board was not my favorite- granted at $17 is remarkably low priced but o would rather pay a bit more and get some more cheese - essentially it was one Brie and some feta/ blue cheese dip!Had to have their pizzas as they are alway so good and made right in front of you on their wood oven! Had the mushroom which I loved and the meat eaters enjoyed the Bee-sting which was also enjoyed though it does pack a spicy punch!Stella is also very reasonable- 5 people,2 rounds drinks , pizza and multiple apps were under $160 before tip! Great spot in Southtown"
"Thank you to my fellow Houston elites your reviews! That's how we settled on this place. I was a little hesitant when we pulled up, it's located on the end of a shady looking strip mall type thing. We walked in and right away you know the owner is a hip hop lover. Especially the homage to MF DOOM. I don't drink beer, but that's why most come here probably. The menu looked super enticing too. I ordered the bacon Mac and cheese for the table. It was beyond salty, but I love salt. Idk if it's usually that salty, it was a bit much. The mushroom burger was good and the fries were the bomb. I love crispy fries. The Astros game was on for baseball lovers like me! Go 'Stros. Our waiter was super friendly. Just a good all round vibe going on. Bar seating, high tops and a regular tables. Also seating outside. All types of patrons. Folks there for the game, couples, families. You name it. When in the area, I'd definitely hit up again!"
"Savor has become our gold standard for fine dining. Right off the bat, the person attending the entrance opened the door for us and warmly greeted us - not the worn out welcome of someone grinding through the night, but someone who genuinely seemed to care that we'd have a good time at Savor. The interior is modern and warm - clean lines and lots of wood. We've come a couple times and each time the servers are so helpful and courteous. The margarita is excellent, sweet and refreshing. Each time we've been, we've loved the food here. Recently, the pistachio crusted ahi and pork albondigas were great. But since the menu changes every season, asking the opinions of the servers is really helpful. Since the price of each dish doesn't affect an expected tip, the servers are really giving an honest opinion of what's really great, and they have never steered us wrong! Looking forward to coming back soon!"
"Came here about two years ago and came back while in town for work. This time I got the fried fish with fries and a side salad. The food took awhile to come out, but I can't be mad because everything was hot and crispy! The portion size was huge. The side salad was just a side salad, i'll try another side next time.Service is slow so be prepared to wait for your check."
"A sandwich place that gets 5 star review? Absolutely, the Ultimate could be my all time favorite sandwich. And the staff is really friendly and helpful too."
"One of many restaurants on the river walk. A local I know recommended this place as one of the best and we had a good meal here. Service was great and they make excellent margaritas. You can sit right along the river and enjoy that part of the city. They bring in a lot of ingredients directly from Mexico. The chicken enchiladas and crab tostada are great choices."
"The burgers are OK, but not the best in town (and they are very pricey). The patty is dry and too salty for my taste, but I do appreciate the thick patty, soft bun, and fresh veggies that come with it. They offer several cheeses and other additions (such as a fried egg) for an extra cost. They also have a decent variety of non-burger options, like chicken sandwiches and a mushroom sandwich, which is nice if you're in the mood for something else.Bonus points for having a FULL bar!Prices below are as of February 2024:$9.28 for a single patty burger$1.29 for a slice of pepper jack cheese$4.79 for an order of sweet potato fries"
"This is a great place for the area. Not much better over here. Always a good time when I come. I do try and sit in Conan's section. He's such a professional and seems to enjoy his work. He has a good memory and checks back in a timely manner.."
"Very good atmosphere, the bartenders are all super friendly, attentive, and fun! They have special events often if you follow their social media. They do offer food as well :)"
"First time coming to the Magnolia Pancake Haus. We got here at 10am the wait time was already 40 to 50mins. Everyone that was coming in was willing to wait which is a great sign of good food and hospitality.the nice part about waiting is you don't have to just sit inside. They have an open area for people to walk around / let the kids run around. They put in your number and will text you when your table is ready. They have the wait time and placement on the yelp app. After sitting down you can really feel a southern charm. The staff is super friendly. The food was great everything came with a side of pancakes. I wish Benedict's had more hollandaise sauce. Other than that it was very good and we will be back!"
"Beautiful restaurant with breathtaking views. We arrived one hour before closing for a late night family dinner. I ordered the filet mignon which isn't my go to but I loved it. Now for the real deal- our waiter Jason. He was one of the best waiters I've had in a long time. Sense of humor and completely professional. When in San Antonio a must is the Vhart House and ask for Jason."
"Finally made it to "supper" no pun intended lol I had heard raving reviews and nothing but great things about Supper. The reviews on Yelp confirmed it, and my visit sealed the deal! So obviously, I highly recommend! I had it on my foodie list since (recently) moving to SATX. Everything about our experience was 100/10! Service, ambiance and food!!! The historic feel and ambiance can be felt from the moment you walk up and walk in. Of course I snapped away from every angle and still photos won't do it justice! So go see for yourself To start, we ordered a Cesar salad to share and they were kind enough to split it (without us asking for it to be split). I opted for a mocktail (Prohibition Punch) and my hubby had an old fashioned. It's always very much appreciated by me when a business and staff are so detailed. It's the details for me, always! Like the cute little "pearl" in the old fashioned cherry garnish. Which I'm sure is symbolic of the "pearl district". Much appreciated! For entrees; I ordered the risotto and my hubby ordered the black angus filet (au poivre). The truffle on the risotto was fantastic. However, the risotto itself needed a little something. It tasted kind of bland (for my liking) even when combining with the truffle! The steak on the other hand was absolutely phenomenal! Cooked exactly as we ordered, with an explosion of flavors when dipped in the au poivre sauce. Can't forget to mention the highlight of the night for me; the Brussels sprouts! Omg! The best I've had! Kudos to the chef! I would've been ok with 3 orders of Brussels lol I can go on and on about how wonderful this experience was! I will end my review by saying thank you to Angel, our server! And what felt like an entourage of servers making sure our every need was met! Truly grateful and cannot wait to return!"
"Absolutely the best surprise experience this trip to Texas. An experience you must enjoy first hand. You will not be disappointed. The manager showed us to the third level and introduced us to relax around a place of our choosing. My wife and I made ourselves comfortable at the bar and met a Scot from the highlands name Mike who was so knowledgeable about his profession. We started with a cosmopolitan and a 1792 neat while contemplating food. We selected to share an appetizer of Brussels sprouts and ordered a 10" pizza. Both were absolutely best we experienced in our 20 years off traveling in the NE regions of the USA. Mike made our visit so relaxing and enjoyable. I enjoyed his conversation while sharing experiences glamping in Peru. My wife enjoyed sharing special drink recipes and experiences after mixology training. Definitely a great place to satisfy all dietary palates and cocktails."
"Such a cute date spot. Or grab-a-drink-with-a-friend spot. My friend and colleague (shout out to Fernanda F!) dropped in during the neighborhood's First Fridays... we were able to immediately grab a seat at the bar and order a glass of red and a cocktail. The bar is dark, sultry - a mix of romantic vibes at a very vintage dive. Service was extremely helpful and welcoming to boot. Had it not been for the delectable food photos I now see on Yelp, I wouldn't have known they're a full-service restaurant "serving elevated, modern Texas cuisine." I'll put a pin in that for next time I'm in SA."
"While checking out at the Walmart self checkout I spy a Charley's Cheesesteaks which I had never heard of before. Not quite hungry but wanting a snack my husband and I decide to head over and get a simple Philly cheesesteak to share. We got the 6" (small). Right off the cashier was attentive and polite. Placed my order quickly and waited about 3 mins. (There were 2 customers in front of me) I could see items being cooked fresh which only added to my excitement. When my number was called another polite employee gave me my order and noted that there were napkins etc over there if I needed them. Over the top helpfulness! Wanting to love the idea of Philly cheesecake but never really finding a business that makes it how I like it I wasn't expecting too much. After all I am in a Walmart grocery store. However with my first bite I was sold!! SO delicious!! I found myself wanting more than half the sandwich. Surely my husband can't know where the half line is right?! Just another nibble to even it up...Ugh! I had the sandwich to my husband and jump on my phone to see if this company is in Utah. THEY ARE! I was pleasantly surprised with this sandwich. Not being able to say more than that since it's all we ordered but know we will be back!! I only hope the employees at the Utah locations are as courteous as the employees were at this one. Please give them my praise. It really makes a difference!! Until next time...K"
"FOOD IS AMAZING! Service is great! Cute little shop in a plaza. I get the green juice every time i come 10/10. Salmon salad amazing, turkey avocado wrap amazing, have been a few times and nothing has missed!"
"This place is one of my go to restaurants for tomato basil soup. This time we tried the prime rib sandwich with added truffle Parmesan fries and they nicely split it since we were sharing it. It is a nice place to get a bite to eat in between shopping or take a quick meeting. Service is excellent. Ambiance is nice and the view of fiesta Texas is a plus."
"Okay, so my return here was a better experience than my visit 2+ years ago. I popped in for a quick bite as I was in the area--just got appetizers and drinks. I usually may never have space in my tummy for dessert but this time I did. This was the best cheesecake I've had in a really long time--I typically do not care cheesecake . The snapper throats name is deceiving as it's actually the snapper cheeks/side of its face but I guess haha. The fish was tender and deep-fried without being greasy. They let the natural taste of snapper shine through as there wasn't heavy seasoning or salt which is great. The calamari dipping sauce was a nice curry which is the usual sauce pairing you would think of but it works! The ambiance was lowlight moody and rustic vibes."
"I ordered the lunch special for $12.50. You get your choice of half a sandwich and your choice of soup or salad. I went with the smoked turkey club sandwich and the Texas Bluebonnet Salad. The food was really good - the turkey club sandwich was loaded up with turkey, smoked bacon (bacon was perfectly cooked - not too crisp), plenty of bean sprouts (which I love), tomatoes, avocado, pickles, and a decent sized slab of provolone. It was wrapped up with a very tasty toasted sourdough bread (who doesn't love sourdough?) and a dab of aioli (which I still believe is just a fancy word for mayo). The Texas Bluebonnet Salad was good - consisted of fresh greens, a couple of cherry tomatoes, and some red onion slices. The food was good, the ambiance was nice, but the waiter was clueless. Our group had several questions about items on the menu, but he wasn't able to answer most of them.Everyone was happy with their food, and the ambiance of the place, but the service really knocked them down to a three star rating. And this was on a weekday lunch when they weren't terribly busy."
"We made reservations to visit after trying to walk in last week and finding out they had already filled their last spot. It was worth the wait! We were seated in a cozy little cubby near the back, which was perfect. The staff shared the story of the owners--a husband, a graduate of the CIA culinary school, and his wife, who has a background in construction. Together, they created a warm and inviting restaurant where they used to live before expanding due to their success. We couldn't decide on a red wine, so our waitress graciously let us sample a few before we settled on a lovely French dry red. Our meal started with a fantastic pork and grape appetizer, which was the highlight for us. For the mains, we chose a vegetable and a fish dish. The eggplant was a bit too rich for my taste, and I would have preferred a lighter, crunchier panko coating. The redfish had a bit of a strong flavor, but the corn succotash that accompanied it was excellent. The fresh, crisp salad was another standout. We were too full to enjoy dessert at the restaurant, so we took a nectarine tartlet and chocolate cake home. Both were a hit the next day! For everything we enjoyed, the bill was very reasonable, and the service was exceptional. We'll definitely be back to try more from their weekly-changing prix fixe menu."
"If you are looking for delicious and high quality bruch, Landrace is for you!Last weekend my friends and I decided to checkout Landrace for breakfast/brunch. I think most people associate the restaurant with steaks and dinner, but their brunch is out of this world. The menu itself is small but mighty with multiple options for everyone. For my first time I decided to go with the Brisket Benedict, which includes BBQ bearnaise, fried shallots and avocado. The eggs were cooked to PERFECTION! Eggs benedict can be a hit or miss at many other restaurants but Landrace nailed them! Also, the brisket was absolutely delicious and was not too sweet. The only thing I was not a super huge fan of was the bread they used, but regardless of that the eggs were probably one of the best I've had in a very long time. Last but not least, if you dine in at the restaurant you get 2hr of free parking at their valet."
"This was our second time here and again the food and service was great. I started with the Tijuana Lady to drink, which was refreshing. I started dinner with the Baby Wedge Salad which was very delicious and I appreciated the fact that the blue cheese crumble was not over powering. For my entrée I had the Chicken Fried Oyster, which is very good and a perfect portion. For dessert I selected the Citrus Cheesecake. Our server was great and I think I threw him off at first by joking with him. I look forward to returning to Silo for another great dinner."
