"My favorite buffet! The price is usually around $14 and food is fresh and hot. I've gone to dine in and take out and they even give extra containers. I love the chicken saagwala, samosas and there's also one that has mushrooms and is my favorite!"
"What a vibe. I stumbled upon this place heading home with the search for "Indian food" in my gps on a Saturday night. The place was packed but the vibe was cozy, romantic, intimate. Couples were sipping wine and families were enjoying their meals under soft red lights mixed with soft chatter. I saw buffet tables which I overheard someone mention they have buffets during lunch hours with the exception of Mondays. I ordered the Dal soup, Vegetable Pakoras, Paneer Pakora, garlic naan, and Matar Mushroom, all delish! Il take the spice level up next time. While waiting for my to-go order I watched the food come out in these adorable silver trays. Cannot wait to dine in on the next date night"
"I am so impressed that the staff wanted us to take advantage of the Valentine's Day special. He had a Nepal beer and I had a Himalayan Shirley with Tito's. Get ready because it's a journey with a lot of food. Everything was lovely. The Nepal Achar reminded me of a better potato salad with no potato. Everything is very fragrant. The gulag Jamum was a cross between a donut hole and a hush puppy but way better. I couldn't even eat half it was so good. Looking forward to leftovers tomorrow at work. The restaurant is clean and ready for large or small parties. You can watch sports on tv if you'd prefer. Great for date night!"
"Location:The restaurant is located in Stone Oak off Heubner road in a shopping center with an Indian Market, Jersey Mikes and Pizza Hut. There are a lot of parking in this shopping center.Food:They offer a lunch and dinner buffet and you can order a la carte of lunch/dinner entrees. We tried the lunch buffet and were delighted of the variety of options from vegan dishes, chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, tandoori chicken, chili chicken, meatball curry, pakoras, mushroom masala, curry pakoras, samosas, goat curry, salads, chutney, desserts (gulab jamun, khir, semolina cake and mango custard), two types of rice/biryani; basmati and vegetable. My favorite entrees are the chicken tikka masala. A basket of garlic naan bread was complimentary and given when our drinks came in.Price:Lunch buffet price is $14.99 per adult. There is a kid's menu and it's priced $9.99 and under. Ambiance:There is ample seating in the large restaurant. It is tastefully decorated to reflect their culture. The buffet line is at the back of the restaurant. Service:Service was great. Foods were constantly refilled in the buffet line and waters were promptly refilled. Overall, I would be back again. I'm curious to see if the food options are more extensive for dinner. I would love to see plain naan bread at the buffet line."
"Second visit! The food was so good last week I decided to come back today. I HAD to get the Tikka Masala again. I also selected the Chicken Vindaloo and Mixed veggies. The mixed veggies is a selection that is cooked down nicely into a stew. Onion, potato, cauliflower and peas in a slightly spicy sauce. Very lovely. The Chicken Vindaloo is a spicy dish. Meat is so tender and appears to be both white and dark portions of chicken. There is also potato and all in a red colored broth. The red means "enter at your own risk! "The rice is simple, warm and fluffy and very light, if that makes sense. Not sure, but those might be caraway seeds strewn throughout. The Tikka Masala was a hit, as expected. So nice and creamy and the white meat chicken chunks are also very tender. And man! Can't get enough of the naan. They close the restaurant at 2:30 and reopen for dinner. This is a lot of food, y'all. I'll never be able to eat every bite no matter how hungry I am, so show up but bring your appetite."
"This is San Antonio's spot for Indian food! I have been here a few times, and I will difinitely be back. What makes Madura Mes so great is that the focus is on the food, and the whole of the Indian Subcontinent is well-represented in their menu. They of course have all if those dishes derived from Northern India you would likely see in most Indian restaurants, such as Vindaloo, Korma, Masala, and others familar to those who frequent most other Indian restaurants, yet they don't stop there. There's entire sections if the menu devoted to Southern India, and also an Indo-Chinese, portion of the menu, which looks very intriguing. I want to try it all. So far, I am in love with their chili chicken (Chicken 65), and last time I was theee I had a tiffin meal that included a dosa, which was what clenched it for me. Dosas are a delctable Southern Indian treat that is essentially a crispy crepe. Theirs practically melt in your mouth. I found both the servers amd regualr patrons to be quite helpful in navigating less familiar parts of the menu. They even gave me some extra dahl when I raved at how good theirs was. As I said before the atmosphere is very minimalist, in fact judging by some of the pieces in there I wouldn't be surprised if it was formerly a Mexican restaurant, but you go their because their food is legit. So if yiu like Indian food, and wish to expand your horizons on ut then check out Madure Mes!"
"Very unassuming little lunch spot, but the service was fantastic and the food was great! A little pricer than I'd expect though - 2 entrees, two drinks and a dessert for $75."
"Great food love the chicken 65 Also the samosa was pretty yummy the wraps with potatoes and chicken were freaking amazing!!! If we lived close we would come here and try more stuff but we don't this was a random stop before a drive out of town but it's so worth it!! Service was great the ambiance is nice quiet and traditional music! If your around the area this place is a good one to stop and check out"

Hidden gem! The portions here are huge for dinner. They are definitely shareable. Food was so good and prepared to satisfy. The mango lasi was delicious. During the lunch hour they have buffet until 2 pm. This holiday season they will be open and have some special meals planned. Great atmosphere and good selection of wine and beers. The sag paneer was so good. Love how they section the menu but if you need suggestions just ask. They were very happy to help depending on what you like. Plenty of parking too. If you like Indian food do your self a favor and try India Oven, we will be back aguja and again.

I went to this favorite eatery of my friends for the lunch buffet. The place is spacious and the buffet has a number of offerings. Most of the dishes are very traditional Indian food that you Indian mom would make. Lots of curry and vegan fare, chicken, lentils and sauces on most items. The garlic infused Naan bread is amazing. The offerings are all nicely prepared and the chef is refilling regularly so food is fresh. There are 2 types of rice, soups, fruit and salads as well as some traditional desserts. The iced tea was nicely brewed. Bring your appetite here and you will leave filled in a good way!

Absolutely delicious--the lamb curry dish is fabulous--I am a wimp so I ask for no heat and they deliver and it does not detract from the outstanding flavor--big chunks of lamb in a savory sauce. The basmatic rice is plentiful and also delicious!Highly recommend!!

We were staying on the Riverwalk and really wanted Indian Food, so we decided to try Indian Night. The place is small and casual but it was clean and the service was good. We got 3 dishes: Butter Chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala, and Chicken Tikka Masala. The dishes each came with rice and it was enough food for four of us. We liked all of the dishes but the standout was definitely the Butter Chicken, it had amazing flavor with just a touch of sweetness. We also ordered Garlic Naan and Cheese Naan, both of which were excellent.

Somosa chat is the best!! It's a large serving with delicious seasoning & fresh toppings. My favorite dish on their menu AND it's only $5! I can eat on it for 2 days. Oh! And their coconut ball cookies are out of this world. Their pastries are beautiful - wish I took a picture. The service is efficient & they are always very friendly. I usually take out, but the place looks pleasant for eat in. Will always go back!! Delish!!

"We went tonight to try this place out. They close at 8 and I had read online they were open until 9, so when we walked in at 7:40 I felt so bad. They were accommodating and pleasant and welcoming. Such a nice vibe!We got vegetable samosas, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, chicken korma and a mango lassi. The food was so good. The samosas had a nice heat to them and the sauce was excellent. The chicken dishes were good but my favorite was the tikka masala. So rich tasting. Both dishes came with rice. I tried to get good photos of the menu. They have a fresh prepared buffet at lunch daily. Such nice owners and staff. So glad to see some good food coming to this area.Stop in to eat!"
"I love love love this place but I spend way too much money here. How do I do that when the prices are so very low you ask? Ummm because I order WAY too much because the prices are so low!!!! The food is absolutely fantastic. The naan is huge. The service is top notch and they'll explain everything to you. For sure give this place a try and you won't be disappointed! Just order a few things at a time though. The portions are large!"
"Delicious Indian food, great service, clean and they stay late and that's a plus in San Antonio. Thank you"
"Great food for great price. Love their sambhar, coconut chutney and their Madras coffee is equally good too! Its not a trendy place to sit and dine but if you only care about the food, I would say this is by far best south Indian place. Quick service and clean restrooms are a big plus."
"They got a good selection of the menu. We ordered lamb masala and lamb biryani rice. Portions are generous unlike the other Indian restaurant with the small portion. The dishes are flavorful and delicious. Also so they got a nice little bar in there . Good service by the server. We will be back to try rest of the menu."
"Wow! I can't believe I haven't tried this Indian restaurant earlier! The food here is amazing! The goat kheema dosa was very hearty, seasoned well, and so delicious! It's definitely big enough to share as an appetizer or if you want to eat as your main entree.I also got the nilgiri korma curry with goat, which was superb. The curry was rich, with many chunks of goat. There were, however, a good portion of bones, which definitely added to the flavor of the curry but also took away from the eating experience (since you don't want to accidentally bite down on a bone when eating a mouthful of the curry). The curry comes with a side of rice, but I'd recommend getting some naan to accompany it too. Garlic naan is of course a must!I will definitely return and try their other menu items! It's the best Indian spot I've been to here in SA thus far."
"We got takeout twice from here while staying in a nearby hotel. The first night we had kadai paneer and a garlic naan. The meal was good but the naan seemed over-cooked, it was very crunchy. The second night we tried the mixed vegetable pakora, butter paneer and garlic cheese naan. Thr pakora was a little greasier than I've had in the past, and the cheese garlic naan was WAY heavier than I needed, even with just a few bites. The butter paneer was delicious, but the paneer chunks were pretty large. Overall, would eat again!"
"Keeping it short and simple. I have lost track on the orders I have made here. I can say that I realized I was coming multiple times a week and needed to slow down. Most people justify going to a buffet due to the prices they offer but rarely compare the quality. I've gone to buffets but would rather pay whatever Tikka asks in order to get their grub. They are decently priced for the quality they provide. Generous portions, great customer service and consistently is on point. You get what you pay for and they never fail to deliver. I get the lamb Tikka w/ tandoori chicken. Keeping me away form my diet lol love this place ! Also Seems like a clean truck as well ! Which I am very critical on"
"Great good food! Will definitely return again. Fresh and tasty. Good fast service. Overall I think everyone should try this South Indian restaurant."
"Was looking for a place to catch a late dinner on Easter and this was one of the few places open. I ended up coming back here 5 nights out of the week I spent in San Antonio. Food was awesome! The guys in the food truck gave excellent service. Will come back whenever I'm in the area"
