"What can one say about Papa John's Pizza? It's going to be all about who is hired at this particular location at the time and who is delivering it. I would use Uber Eats and not call it in because then you're using THEM and not a service meant for delivery and it comes faster, in my experience. We've had one bad problem with the pizza and we received a credit for our pizza and a credit for a future pizza and wings. So we were pleased. Again, this was based on employees there at the time. It is a franchise, after all. Probably rolling the dice there. Pizza is typical Papa John's quality. A 7/10. So good for a pizza night when you're tired of dealing with the wait times of other "local places"."
"This location was very clean with lots of indoor seating available. I ordered through the app so I had minimal interactions with the staff. I was waiting for my ranch on the side but it seems they don't read the special instructions for online orders since my ranch was on top and there was no extra pepperoni. Online ordering does not allow you to ask for extra toppings so my toppings were pretty slim. Overall, the food tasted great and the service was quick."

"PTL for Señor Burro!! This native San Diegan is beyond happy that they landed in SA. I've already been here 3 times in one week haha. This place has some SD favorite and NAILS them - like the Cali burrito! The meat isn't gristley at all and exactly how I remember a Cali burrito should taste. My personal favorite? The rolled tacos!!! I search far and wide for good shredded beef rolled tacos, and I have found them here. They even use creamy guac just like in SD! And oh man they have a full on breakfast burrito menu that does not disappoint. I had the classic breakfast burrito and it was fire. I seriously could eat here every day. Don't sleep on the horchata, it's soooo good. I can't forget to mention their $1 fish street tacos, they are so crispy delicious with bomb chipotle sauce and fresh spicy pico. I've also had their carnitas and shredded beef taco - both incredible and authentic to SD. The staff is so nice and just makes the whole experience better! You have a repeat customer between me and my whole family who also LOVES your food!"
"MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CHICKEN FROM MEXICO IS FINALLY IN THE STATES. San Antonio, you are so lucky!!!!! Hands down the most delicious, juicy, cooked to perfection chicken, you need to do your life a favor and run here and try it if you haven't already. Since I was visiting the area I drove down here and it was just as good as the ones in Mexico. Service here was friendly and the staff was very helpful. After placing our order, within 5-10 min out our order was out. We went with our usual, whole chicken, side of taquitos, side of potato's and coleslaw. The food is just outragesly good, a 10/10 on EVERYTHING. Pollo Pechugon your a gem. You know how to do chicken top tier and I appreciate that. I can't wait to find you somewhere else again or back here in San Antonio. Thanks Pollo Pechugon for my killer lunch!!! Best lunch of my whole trip!!"
"Golden Meals??? When I first saw the trailer and the name I just thought it was another strange pop up food truck. I was WRONG. This little food trailer pumps out some of the best Mediterranean food in San Antonio. I've ordered from this place about five times now. I've tried multiple Mediterranean dishes and I've been surprised over and over with the food quality, flavors, portions, freshness of ingredients and service. I don't know how they do it. There are some places with a brick and mortar and that don't come close to the quality of Golden meals. The best part? The guys who run this little place are so nice. Very efficient. They give you a direct response and true wait times. Yes, you will have to wait. Usually about 15-20min depending on what you order and how many orders they have pending. But you can believe them when they give you a wait time and you can believe ME when I say it's worth the wait. Cheers!"
"This new location seems always busy. The sweet tea is great and they are very quick at making the food. Ordered the tailgate (25 chicken strips) and was in and out very quickly - even with a line wrapped around the restaurant. The fries and the sauce are so good!!!!"
"Recently ordered a number 2 from Whataburger via Grubhub. You can't go wrong with whataburger and I am giving all four stars, but I think the fries could have used a little more salt. Not too much, but just a little more. Does anyone else feel this was about their fries? Let me know in your comments."
"Love this place!! The pork tamales are sooooo delicious!!!! They have great combos for barbacoa and tamales. Place is clean and ladies are very nice. I make that 20 min drive out here to get some of this delicious food."
"This place is the best! The prices are so good for what you get. I got a fajita wrap and it was HUGE! I could barely hold it in my hands. Not only that it was also super tasty, flavorful and refreshing on a hot TX day. I chose to get protein boxes for my kids and was shocked at the great price, you get to pick three items & a sauce from their massive list and my kids LOVED it.The lemonade is also pretty good, I managed to get a sip from my kids before they drank it all! This is a drive thru only style of place but such a great lunch stop for on the go. This will definitely become a regular for us."
"I was looking forward to being the first to review Henbit -- the new "popup" burger joint at The Pearl's food hall -- not because I craved a smattering of insincere "Congrats on your FTR!" "compliments" from strangers but because I was duly impressed and wanted my review to take the interwebs by storm. Unfortunately, I see that a fellow named John E. has beaten me to the punch. *Fortunately*, however, Mr. E.'s review focuses on Henbit's vegan "chicken" sandwich*, so I shall still be the first to regale Yelp with my fresh (and totally accurate) assessment of the main event, the outstanding Henbit burger! The skeletal menu describes the Henbit burger as follows: two patties of Peeler Farms beef, milk bun, American cheese, shitake aioli, sour pickles, tomato, onions, and red romaine. What the menu doesn't divulge is that the patties are smashed, which often translates to "hard and bereft of all juiciness." If you read my review of Tin Top Burger Co. in New Braunfels (the owner sure did...and he didn't like it one bit!), then you know how I feel about the trendy smash burger concept. In many cases, the patties are about as texturally appealing and juicy as a bulldozed hockey puck. In very rare instances, however, a burger joint works its alchemy to produce a smashed patty that's crisp and desiccated around the edges yet juicy in the middle. Such was the case at Henbit!Of course, a burger is more than just the meat. The other constituent parts -- nothing superfluous -- must coalesce, mingle, and meld into something special. I'm pleased to report, Dear Reader, that the Henbit burger -- in all its constituent parts -- was indeed nothing short of spectacular. At first, I was concerned that the bun might be too weak to withstand the juices from the meat and veggies, but it held up from beginning to end. The shitake aioli might sound like a gimmick, but it added a bold umami flavor reminiscent of *real* black truffles. The tomato and pickles cut through the richness with sweetness and acidity, respectively, while the onions and romaine added crunch. If you took a gander at my photo (which *should* be the featured one on Yelp), then you probably noticed that it includes not two but three patties. That's because I added a third for $3.50 extra. Each patty weighs only three ounces, so nine ounces of beef doesn't sound too extravagant...unless you're some kind of a wuss. I'm not sure how long Henbit will remain in The Pearl's food hall, but it strikes me as a semi-permanent fixture. Perhaps the owners are advertising it as a limited-time offering simply to drum up business. I can only speculate. What I *can* tell you is that my burger ranked among the top five in the city...and that's saying something coming from me. I go out a lot, I eat lots of burgers, and I'm super duper smart. I know of what I speak, folks, so trust me when I say that Henbit is an excellent addition to The Pearl and one of the best places for a burger in San Antonio. *Ordering a vegan "chicken" sandwich from a burger joint is like ordering water at a saloon in the Wild West...or using a slingshot in the showdown that ensues when the other patrons disapprove of your beverage of choice."
"Nice little fast food place! It's been in the work for a while so I was excited to try them when they opened. I was not disappointed. Clean and modern fast food dining with a simple chicken menu. I was torn between the chicken and the flautas but decided on the chicken Pollo Pépe after all! The chicken was juicy and tender unlike some other chains. Tortilla chips were crisp and the salsa had just the right amount of heat! I also had some freshly made potato chips, which honestly, were a little limp. In the future, I would hope they also make salt shakers available in the dining room. Wide array of bottled Mexican sodas were available as well as fresh horchata and the like. The staff were all incredibly friendly, and the environment was very welcoming and I can't say enough about it. I'll be back for sure."
"Best hole in the wall in my opinion. It's not in the best neighborhood in the town, but I think it's worth the drive to come. The attempt at authentic Mexican food here is better than a lot of places in town. The inside is a bit dated and not as welcoming as you would like(the cashier area is one of the most confusing and hectic areas ever). Let's get to the star which is the food! The menudo, well one the better ones I've had, and guess what it was spicy! Like it should be! The carne guisada was also above average. If you come here I recommend getting the corn tortillas instead of flour. You will thank me! Also if you love spice like we do, ask your waitress for the spicy sauce, the real spicy sauce. She will bring to you only if you ask. The waitresses have always been awesome and the coffee was great. Not very many negatives, at least to mention. I wish places like these were given more notoriety when it comes to best of lists. These restaurants, local and loved, far exceed some of the places on the "supposed best of list". Maybe because we don't vote. My friends taco taco cafe is not it. It's not even on my top 100. If you really love food, and aren't afraid to come to a place in shopping center, this place is a must!"

Order pick for pick up went smooth. The inside was pretty busy. The seating was limited because it was a Friday night and everyone was looking for pizza I guess. The pizza was okay. Pretty mid. I'm noticing papa John's pizza is best fresh. It doesn't reheat well at all. Right out the box when I picked it up was really good. Once the temp cooled- that freshness must've cooled off with it. But no overall issues. I wish they had chicken as a topping selection.

They were only thing around across the street from the grand Hyatt Regency at Disneyland that served pizza and wasn't a gazillion miles away walking. The music was entirely too loud & reminded me of the goddamn Vegas Casino and my barkeep was terrible because she kept on cleaning shit and her little helper who i guess was the bored hostess only acknowledged me after she could tell I was pissed. Go down the street towards Disneyland at the pizza place that I review in another section. It's a non-descript place in a strip mall called like pizza something or other and it's right near Disneyland. It is a gazillion times better. It's in the same strip plaza as a Japanese place that serves like diner food, and looks kind of chince but their salad was amazing and their service was impeccable and you need to go there and I need to find what that place is and review it and give it five stars. By the way that is the pizza place that's closest to Disneyland and they are near Tony Roma's. That place is ob the corner and is one block south of disneyland. and across from both the cvs and walgreen's. Go there instead.

I was craving a breakfast burrito this morning, and this place did not disappoint! The burrito was massive, loaded with crispy bacon, fries, and eggs, all wrapped in two tortillas. It was so filling that I couldn't finish it--definitely enough to feed a small family! I can't wait to come back and try their tacos next.

great service, but the reason to go is the excellent chicken, well cooked and seasoned, roasted to perfection also comes with season roasted whole potatoes that are tasty. moderate pricing. we have always done to go, so I can't attest to dine in, but to go service is fast and accurate.

My brother tried the chicken shawarma two days ago and really liked it. Today I wanted to try it so we ordered hummus, Mixed Tikka plate, and Gyro plate. The chicken and beef tikka were flavorful and tender. The rice and hummus were also really good.

I ordered a burger for myself and later called my family to see if they wanted anything too. After finding out that they did, I ordered two more burgers. I then headed home with two bags, but unfortunately, one of the three burgers I ordered was missing. The next day, I returned to the restaurant and explained the situation to the cashier. She spoke to the manager, who agreed to make the missing burger for me. I was pleasantly surprised that the cashier and manager were kind and understanding. I had my receipts, but I didn't expect them to believe me. Their willingness to help was greatly appreciated, and I will definitely continue to visit this location. Great job!

"Ordered the buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Ordered just a medium size and glad I did. The large would've been way too much. The sandwich was very good and flavorful. Just the right amount of sauce to make it Tasty and flavorful without making it too much of a mess. A very good sandwich. Also added a gourmet combo of fries. Comes with cheese and bacon. Fries seemed a bit soggy and light on flavor. The cheese sauce and bacon was nothing special on it as well. But overall was a good experience and will be back again."
"This place has been here for a little while every time I go by I want to stop well I did today and I have to say it was well worth it. The chicken is amazing flavorful and juicy. They have the most delicious roasted potatoes that will leave you licking your fingers now they are not fries guys they are small round potatoes but oh my amazing. The hot sauce is perfect and goes well with the flautas that come with your family order. Here I am ranting away about the food but I also have to say the customer service is outstanding they go above and beyond. I truly recommend this place I will try and stop at least once a week for sure. I forgot to mention no alcohol but they allow you to bring your own so party time."
"I recently went back to Salad and Go. I again tried the Cobb salad with creamy blue cheese dressing. It was very good. So fresh and delicious. I really like the bowl it comes in. It's so large that you can put the dressing in and shank it to distribute the dressing. Then I don't use a whole lot. I used the driver through and the ladies working were very nice. They confirmed my order and made sure I got the correct salad. Since this building is only a drive through, there was no place to sit. When you go expect to not stay. They do have a walk up window as well if that is what you would like to do."
"Chicken done right in the form of tender strips or chicken fingers as they are called. The sauce is good but I prefer them without. Their tea and lemonade are so fresh and tasty and employees are super friendly. This location has outdoor seating so in this weather it's awesome. Affordable but recent price increases were a little steep."
"The ordering was smooth and easy! Everyone was super friendly and helpful about everything! We got our food pretty quickly! Will definitely be back!"
"Horrible service on 12/21. The staff member acted like us being there was an inconvenience. Out of key ingredients as usual. Only stopped because we thought it would be quick, but it was anything but. Took several attempts to get the staff's attention because ringer was broke. Then we had to ask her to repeat everything she said because she mumbled.Thought we would give it a chance again, but no more. This location is horrible."
"Solid fast food burger restaurant! I've been in Texas on Vacation for a few days and had noticed these P. Terry's signs all over. I'm not from around here so I was intrigued... never saw or heard of a P Terry's. The signs are pretty cool.... Reminds me of the "futuristic" cartoon "The Jetsons" from the 70's. Today is my last day in Texas, so on my way to the airport I decided to check the place out! Super friendly service, including hello's and good bye's from the staff. Place was really clean, including the bathrooms. Loved the fries, remind me of Five Guy's, only thinner (which I love) and even tastier. Fries would definitely bring me back. The burger was made fresh and had good flavor. Didn't try the Banana Bread, and now I'm kinda kicking myself! Only improvements I would like is.... get rid of the ketchup packets and get a pump, and maybe also offer mayo. See you next time I'm in Texas!"
"Hello. From Houston, Texas. Had a nice experience. Food great. Customer service excellent. Ordered at kiosk. Got my food. Gobbled down in parking lot. Check out the pictures. Art. Food great. Just like in Houston. Hubby likes the crave boxes. I like crunchy tacos Supreme. Thanks. :)"
"Cane's always has 5 stars in my book. It's close by to campus and always has great service. I love the AC indoors and the fresh food. I always get the lemonade and 3 finger combo, with extra sauce of course. Gotta love Cane's!"
"Every single time I have been to this location it is absolutely terrible and I feel so ripped off. I ordered online at 8:04 and drove away at 8:52 pm. As soon as I pulled up to the window all the guy said was "pull forward please." So I sat and waited for the longest time for someone to bring a grease covered bag out with the boxes of food literally thrown in. And this is what $50.00 and a waste of 45 minutes got me, burned, dry unappetizing food with the worst possible service. I blame myself for not learning my lesson the first times. I have learned this time and will never be back and I do not recommend anyone waste their money."
"Believe the hype. I have tried this place on 4 separate occasions on random days and this is what I have found.+ Burgers are consistently good, juicy and flavorful. Love the way they grill the buns. I prefer the Huebner (mushroom swiss)+ Fries are good- better than Burger Boy's crinkle fries imo~Onion rings have been great 2/4 times. The seasoning was off the last two times but there is potential. Overall very good burgers, definitely recommend especially on this side of town where good local restaurants are rare."
"Considering how much I enjoy the Taco Palenque near me (#1), it would seem automatic for me to appreciate this one just as much. Like any chain, it has some of the same stuff that I have salute always: good (fast'ish) food, 24 hour access, and in a central area where it's conveniently located. However, they're slow. I'm not sure if they're understaffed but I've been here in the mornings after making runs to the airport for some breakfast tacos and also late at night when the munchies are kicking in hard. A drive-thru doesn't always guarantee quick service, it just means not having to get out of the car. I've waited as long as 30 minutes, which is an eternity in fast food land. Then the other faux-paus of drive-thru life happens too often: missing food. I've had to contact them for miscellaneous items that weren't part of my order, which I never discover until later. Management has been nice enough to make it right, but now I'm in the habit of checking the entire bag before leaving. If I've already waited so long, what's another minute to verify everything is correct?I noted previously, it's not a budget chain. SA prides itself on being a city of deals but $5 matamoros tacos isn't helping the cause. However, I'll never say no to anything of theirs that has that magical sirloin. I love it when they put a dollop of avocado on some platters, and think their palenque bowls are underrated. And since the drive-thru menu signs are perpetually whack at other locations, I'm appreciative that they've kept theirs intact and legible (#2).______________(#1) Taco Palenque UTSA: https://www.yelp.com/biz/taco-palenque-utsa-san-antonio-17(#2) I know this should be a given, but go to the other Taco Palenque locations and tell me their menus aren't falling apart and/or severely off."
"Came here for the first time around lunch and I'm glad I did. I pass by this place all the time and figured I'd give it a try. I was craving a good bean and cheese taco, Bennys SLAPS!! So good! The tortilla is so delicious, bang for your buck. I also got the cheese enchiladas with two tamales. So much food for under $11?!? My fiancé got the burrito and he devoured all of it. We will definitely be coming back, food is really good. Tables could have been cleaner but staff was welcoming and friendly and the food came out rather fast. 5 stars from me. We'll be back"
"When I posted the initial picture of the bag and it had the hallmarks of an elite hood establishment, I was dumb excited. You know the telltale signs: the order written on the bag, the cash only transactions, and of course the grease stains that turn the bag fibers translucent like the mosaics at a Catholic Church... it feels like you're about to be blessed for sure.Unfortunately it was actually the franchise that never was. The walk up store front has a large menu with all the prices and the kind lady takes your order on the bag. The prices are very friendly; the cash only joint has a variety of options. We chose a chicken leg, a chicken sandwich, the Che's bacon cheeseburger, fries, and an apple pie. I drove to the nearby Mission Park for a comfy seat and laid out my loot. My initial excitement soon turned to pretty ho hum results. The chicken combo was pretty regular, very much like Church's, which not a bad thing but I expected more; it wasn't bad and was juicy but that's about it. The chicken burger which super hyped up was a pretty standard chicken patty with a regular bun; better than a BK Chicken but is that the bar? Speaking of which, the apple pie I was anticipating was a Golden Arches doppelgänger; just a tad crispier but nothing I would rave about. Hood joint burgers are typically greasy, loaded with flavor, and often overkill. Che's Bacon Cheeseburger wasn't all that greasy, had a good taste, and wasn't overkill. This time the muse was your standard #5 at Whataburger. The mustard and mayo combo did stand out on an otherwise slightly above average burger. The fries were the standouts; homestyle crinkly cut, fat, salty fries were the only flashback to the hood joints of yesteryear.Look, it's not a bad place and I'm sure folks in the neighborhood swear by it, but sometimes nostalgia gives a shine to spots that actually are a little less stellar. Add the fact this almost seems like this is the little franchise that never was, and you have a spot that's good enough for it's hood, but not hood enough to be good. Pro tip: I wanted to really love this place; growing up in the Southside of San Antonio, Griffs on Pleasanton was and still is the hood joint of preference. Check my review."
"Very good fried chicken. I hesitated to try this place, (if you KNOW this side of town, you'll understand why), however, don't judge a book by its cover. Chicken is delicious, he uses a lemon pepper seasoning on the chicken, it's just delicious. Something so simple, but yet, delicious. His fryers get emptied every day!! That is just awesome. Loved the thick crinkle cut fries, and he gives you jalapeños and sodas with a family order. His pricing in on point as well. Just a great little hole in the wall I'm glad I tried. I'll definitely be back. Come over and try it, you won't regret it!!"
"Great price to feed a family! Full chicken with rice and beans is $13, and they are well-flavored and nicely cooked. This is a food truck in the far corner of the Arlan's parking lot, so it's to-go orders only, but they will even help you to your car if you have a large order! There are many places around town that do Pollo's Asados, so it's hard to right then higher than positive, but the price is good!My Yelp rating system:5 stars= Driving across town just for this!4 stars= I would recommend visiting.3 stars= Average, acceptable, positive.2 stars= You might be able to drag me in. 1 star= I will definitely not be returning."
"I have a new dish to add to my favorites. F11. Fried Rice Noodles with shrimp and chicken."
"Best service and with a smile! The guy in charge always has a smile on his face and is very personable! The food is fantastic and we won't forget anywhere else for a sub!"
"Wok N Fries is a really good food truck if you like delicious loaded fries.(TL;DR at end)They are located right next to the Abu Omar Halal food truck in the ZQMart parking space. There is parking for you in front of the food truck (you don't have to park on the side of the road like those who want to go to The Block SA). Service was good. I went around 6 PM and while nobody else was in line, a worker greeted me and took my order and just like that my food was ready in 7-8 minutes. In terms of ambiance, it's a food truck so there aren't really any seating available, unless you want to walk a couple hundred feet to sit at The Block SA. Otherwise, you could just eat in your car or wherever (the joy of food trucks)!).As for the food, I find it to be really good. I haven't really eaten any loaded fries since high school, but I found my Dynamite Chicken Fries to be really enjoyable! The sauce was a nice and creamy Sriracha taste to it that isn't too spicy. Fries were nice and crisp and the chicken came out crispy, tender, and well-seasoned. It was garnished with some green onions and was an overall good meal. They price their fries I believe around 11-12 dollars, but I definitely feel like I paid the right amount for the portion I received. For each choice of loaded fries, they have either a medium and large option; the picture below was just the medium size and I almost did not finish it!Great addition to the food trucks around UTSA and I'm sure will be having more customers for the days to come, so long as they keep up their food standards.TL;DR - Great loaded fries food truck with fast service and free, convenient parking right in front of the food truck. They're open starting from 11AM and is open until 1AM, depending on if it is on a weekend or not."
"Friendly staff, fresh food never disappointed! My husband and I came in today and decided to use our free Whopper coupon from the BK app and when we arrived we found out our online order had never shown up on their system, the BK app is pretty confusing but Stephen helped up and took care of the mess up even though it was no way his or the store locations fault. Best Burger King and I am so glad it is close to me! We will definitely be back."
"This location is a welcomed addition to the Alamo ranch area. They have a wonderful staff and as always delicious sandwiches. We have eaten here a few times since it's grand opening and have always been greeted immediately through the door and received excellent fast service. This location is clean and is taking the covid precautions."
