"Used to go here as a kid in Bandera, TX every morning! So happy they have a location here. Always so fresh and fluffy"
"Stopped by for my first visit on a Saturday afternoon. Had heard great things about this place. It was very clean. The girl taking my order was very friendly and sweet. Was pleased to the variety of freshly made donuts and pastries. At Delightful Donut they have taken the kolache a step further by replacing the bun with a light and flakey croissant. If you ask me, that's a level up from the traditional kolache as we know it. Their beverages are top notch too. I appreciate the option to knock down the sugar content in the matcha I got. Highly recommend this hidden gem."
"A hidden gem of a neighborhood bakery! Smallish location, has 2-3 tables so it's really designed for take-out. Hot, dark coffee served fresh here, too.Excellent baked goods all the way around, most people love the kolaches though for me the standouts are the 'old fashioned' donuts and the croissants. The ham and cheese croissant is perfect: crispy, buttery, and with a cute ham roll inside a nice coating of cheese. Definitely worth your time to stop by and sample the goodies here! This place scores a 5 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below.5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here.4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary.3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad.2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here.1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either."
"Donuts - Sweet, Soft & DelishThai Iced Tea - Beautifully Balanced & DelishSausage Egg & Cheese Croissant - Savory, Hearty & DelishEverything super fresh and/or made to order with very high quality ingredients, and everything served with a friendly face by some really great peeps.Come in for breakfast and make your whole day better!! You'll thank me later;-)"
"Our family visited Babes for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I have gone all over the country trying lots of different kinds of donuts--some yeasty, some heavy, some potato (shoutout to Holy Donut in Portland ME), some overly sweet, some bland, some greasy etc. But I have NEVER had a donut as pillowy and airy as the one at Babes. It wasnt too sweet or even greasy. I have no idea how they do it, but it was what every donut should be and more. I ate a fruity pebbles one expecting sweet and heavy, but I could have eaten a few more and not felt like I was weighed down. They dont have a lot of choices, but even a simple donut hole will amaze. We also had the breakfast sandwiches on biscuits and croissants and those were really good too at a very reasonable price for size and quality which is scarce these days. And the Americano was great (2 shots for only $3 and change). The only cons are the tables were sticky and there isnt great signage so we walked past it twice. You must make this your next breakfast stop!!"
"I loveeeee Lee's!! I'm so happy my parents live close by so I can come to get my coffee and donuts here. Their donuts are so fresh that my family and I don't even purchase from H-E-B anymore. We only get our donuts from Lee's :)"
"I was feeling lazy and didn't want to cook breakfast for my tribe so I drove down the street to get some kolaches and donuts. The selection of donuts in this place is great. Everything from large and fluffy cinnamon buns, regular donuts, bear claws, and all their sweet cousins is in the case. My son gave good ratings for the cinnamon roll. My 4 year old loved the chocolate muffin I got her. My oldest and my husband wanted kolaches. The way my husband talks about these things makes him sound like a love struck boy pining for his crush. He described them as heavenly with soft bread on the outside and beautiful spicy jalapeno sausage enveloped in cheese on the inside. He was not wrong. I had the Boudin Kolache which was I would get again. I thought it might be mushy because of the rice but let me tell you it was not. It had just the right amount of moisture to make the sausage sing but not make the bread soggy. Just lovely. I will definitely be back."
"Stopped in for some donuts and pleasantly surprised how tasty they were. The donuts were fresh and scrumptious. As others said on other reviews the staff was super friendly and nice."
"Stopped by one morning, and there was a small line of people. Service was fast and extremely friendly. I ordered a pink donut with sprinkles and a jalapeño kolache for under $4. Both were delicious, soft, and very fresh. I highly recommend this spot for a quick breakfast pick-up. They also offer breakfast sandwiches and coffee too."
"Nice lady working the counter. Tasty kolachesand donuts. Place was nice and clean. Nice selection of donuts"
"Husband wants donuts so I told him to try this place. He came on a Sunday morning and got a variety of donuts and kolaches. We had Bavarian creme with and without chocolate, rasberry filled chocolate with sprinkles, blueberry cake donut and some donut holes. He also got the sausage kolache and jalapeño kolaches. There were drinks there too. Next time I will check it out with him. I had to workout so I can enjoy the donuts with less guilt."

Stopped in to get a kolache and did not disappoint. Exactly what I was looking for, fluffy and warm cheese and sausage. Loved the donut shop. Simple and sweet. I wish there was more of a donut variety but still Had plenty of options. The staff was really sweet and even warmed my kolache up. Hope everyone comes to check this little secret and enjoy some sweets. They even have tacos and COFFEE!!

I was told these donuts were extra tasty so I pulled up one weekday afternoon. The Hawaiian place next door takes up the limited parking so find a spot where you can. I was greeted and helped right away. The selection is nothing special so I just grabbed a couple common donuts to try. They were a little dry for my taste but the flavor is great. Maybe I need to stop by in the morning while they're still fresh to give the texture a fair judge. Overall I wouldn't go out of my way to try these again but not bad.

Amazing service and even better coffee!!! Very good pricing as well as a great environment for studying or chatting with friends. Really wish they had better hours though. :( closed on mondays and they close at 3pm it's a real bummer- I hate having to go to other coffee shops on the square when babes is closed :(

Yum. Loved everything I ate. I had never been to this place before, I got the chocolate on chocolate donut, cinnamon and sugar donut, and the ham and cheese croissant. My husband got donut holes, and an original old fashion glaze. We also got a original glaze too, just to try & an apple juice to share.I'm happy with everything I ate, and definitely plan to come back! We spent around $12 for all of this, definitely worth it :-)

"This is a hidden gem of a donut place. Basic interior, designed (like most donut shops around here) to be more of a take-out place since it only has 2 tables. Doesn't matter, get it to go!They do an excellent old-fashioned donut, with the crispy-fried edges, but the standouts are the brisket kolache and the apple fritters. Get the kolache warmed if you're eating it shortly afterwards, and get TWO fritters, you'll thank yourself for it later! "This place is like most mom-and-pop shops where the donuts and kolaches are just plain freakin' delicious. We've been twice and have tried their glazed donuts and jalapeño and cheese kolaches. They use more breading than most places but it doesn't take away from the actual taste of the kolaches. Glazed donuts are perfect; not too sugary and it's so soft."
"Food was good and service was quick but their phone is disconnected when I tried to call ahead."
"I found my donut place! Everything is fresh and tasty. There's lots of options and flavors and they even have kolaches. I love their apple fritters. The customer service is great and it keeps me coming back. This is a grab and go type of place, like most donut places. Make this your spot."
"For years these delectable breads have graced my alters for Dia de los Muertos. November is a special time for my family to present all the tasty treats that our departed family members enjoyed in life. Bedoy's add that one element that fills the belly and the eyes.Flowing marigolds releasing the aromas that lead to the alters presenting Muertos bread, sugar skulls and love. The empanadas and really, everything I've purchased satisfies my sweet tooth."
"Grand opening was Thursday, but still gave me a free donut. Brand new business. The couple owners seem nice. Donuts cost less than Dunkin' Donuts, and are probably made under much cleaner kitchen. They also seemed to carry more variety! Best of luck to you guys!"
"Stopped by this quaint panadería (Mexican bakery) after a 10k run by the missions. Glad we stopped. So many options to choose from and the pastries all looked so fresh and delish. The ladies working were so nice and accommodating. They also sell tamales! So much to choose from. Enjoy!"
"Hands down my favorite donut shop at the moment. Found them through a deal on the TGTG app and fell in love. Now, I am trying to lose weight, so I'm not here as often as I wish I were but every visit has been pleasant. They have some unique seasonal items and a good selection of staples and classics. It's a donut shop, so obviously not a long wait to be served. They have a large drink selection, even a small patio table if you need to stuff your face that desperately."
"Love the people , baked goods always amazing, my kids love going before school. Barbacoa on the weekends and homemade tortillas! Love this place is a gem!"
"A true gift for kerrville!Lovely little shop - so cute and love the decore! The bubble tea lady was very patient w me, this being my first experience. Will def go back 10"
"The donuts are fresh, and the folks working here are the nicest. Also (and most importantly to me), they have "traditional" apple fritters--which I adore! I also like the fact that they fill jelly-filled donuts to order! I have made Super Donut part of my Sunday morning routine.Super Donuts are much better than Shipley. I am always disappointed with Shipley. I haven't tried Super Donut's kolaches or breakfast tacos, so I cannot comment on those items."
"Looking for cheap Mexican food? This is it! I was looking for a quick homemade meal during my lunch break and this place has exactly what I wanted. Their portions were huge and the food was very delicious. The staff is very kind and my food was brought to the table within 10 minutes. Fast service is a bonus! I got the special of the day which was the Mexican plate that came with 2 cheese enchiladas and a hard shell taco. Absolutely delicious!! I will definitely return in the future."
"Best donuts in town . I love them when their warm . I highly recommend asking for warm donuts when you go too Shipleys . Their kolaches are really good too ."
"Nothing wrong or special with this Shipley's. It's like every location I've visited. They are quick, donuts are warm, & the people are nice. One of the greatest things I love about Shipley's is that they are open at 5AM. Coincidentally, that's around the time I crave donuts. For some reason I love a good warm donut with chocolate milk to start my early mornings. I'm not a fan of crazy donut concoctions & just enjoy a good glazed donut. Shipley's, in my opinion, has the best glazed donut. It's not too sweet & it's sooooo fluffy! Simply, delicious! Thankfully this Shipley's is close to where I live & easy to access. It's literally right of wilderness oak right before you hit Blanco road. Good for a quick dip & go when you're on your way to work or school!"
"I am very underwhelmed.I was told that the devils food donut was good, and that was true. However, the pace has no character, it's like you stepped into 1950's a lot more decadent. The staff is friendly and they are very accommodating . They do special orders if you need a lot of product. I had the kolache and I could have gone without. Lacked flavor and creativity. It was cheap so I'm not too upset. Give it a try if you mist, but I'm not coming back."
"My family and I were first timers here a few days ago. The staff is nice and the selection is great. I had gotten a pumpkin empanada and it was good. I'll be coming here again"
"There are 10 foods that they say that you should never eat - and donuts are on the list -- so I don't indulge often, but when I do, this is a great place to do it! This location is a really small drive through -- but you can go in to pick up your order. Its fast and pretty fresh -- although they aren't making donuts on site. They are kinda expensive for donuts, but they are a treat -- and they also have kolaches -- we went there this morning for a cinnamon bun, a coffee, and 2 kolaches ..and for both of us, got out just over 5 bucks. It was quick and easy and we were back on our way to have our breakfast at the house."
"New Donut shop to the area. Located in the shopping center between the convenient store and the Mexican restaurant. Very nice people work here. Kolaches are ok. Small selection of donuts. Stop in if you have a sweet tooth for a glazed donut, soda, or kolache."
