I like the variety of hot teas ... went for the spicey Turkish tea. However, I am still not a fan of the cupcakes ... thick rather than fluffy, tasteless. The service was fast and friendly. The parking is sparse."

My husband had the shrimp and red fish stuffed with lobster and Veracruz sauce. Not one drop was left on his plate. The tres leches and flan were to die for. Please go, you won't regret it. Our bill was about $50 plus tip."

Nayra B. "An update review because their food is so delicious!!I finally had dinner here with my fiancé and am so happy I did. This time around we started off with a Hot Cocoa and yes, another Matcha Latte. The Hot Cocoa was made with a rich and decadent chocolate and was topped with a thicker whipped cream and chocolate drizzle, and the Matcha was just as rich in flavor with a beautiful foam layer on top. Both looked absolutely beautiful. For our main course, we had the Schnezel and Chicken Florentine Crepe, both delicious in their own right. My fiancé's Schnezel was a super hearty chicken sandwich that came with yummy steak fries that tasted best with their dipping sauce. Both entrees had an abundance of tender chicken, but my Chicken Florentine Crepe was lighter than the sandwich. The many layers of crepe itself were sweet and had a fluffy texture despite how thin they were, and paired excellently with the creamy, savory sauce. The chicken and sautéed mushrooms also paired exquisitely, and all of the flavors came together for a fantastic dish. I am typically not a fan of salad, but I even enjoyed the side salad with its flavorful vinaigrette. It was an absolutely delicious meal, and we're looking forward to trying more from the menu!"

The coconut is non dairy so the consistency is a little watery but both were still yummy. Staff was extra friendly. They even have dividers for people who want multiple flavors without mixing them. The cheesecakes were in the good category and worth the stop but probably won't travel too far to go back. The shop has some small sitting areas inside and outside which is perfect to enjoy your treats. Staff were friendly and helped in the selection process. Everything was soo tender, juicy and just so good! For sides we got the potato salad, mac and cheese and cream corn. The sides went perfectly with the meat. I also love how you can grab your own onions, pickles and bread because I'm an onion girlie and need a whole lot haha. The workers were very welcoming and friendly and it's a big place with a nice and chill vibe. Alden C. "I wanted to get a sweet treat before I left San Antonio and Matcha Cafe Maiko is the perfect spot for a 9pm dessert. When I think of good matcha I always think about Cafe Maiko and others must feel the same way because the store was completely packed when I came by. There was no seating available and some customers were even sitting on the floor. They were sold out of some things like the cones so I opted for the Ube Matcha Soft Serve Ice Cream which was a little over $7. Pretty good value considering they give you a lot and my ice cream wasn't hollow like some people in the past has complaiend about. Not gonna lie I really enjoyed the Ube more than the Matcha with it being a lot sweeter. Both flavors go great together. It was so smooth and creamy too. Definitely worth it.Also a bit of a downside their kiosk was down at the time too so I had to order at the cashier, but the service was good and my order was made very quickly. In San Antonio, it's hard to find a better dedicated Matcha store than this one that is for sure."

I was downtown for a Veterans Day parade and decided to walk around downtown where I came across Cinnaholic. I walked in from the back entrance where there are two other restaurants but leaves a seating area for Cinnaholic.Food: They have many "toppings" you can choose from or select from their recommendations. I selected from one of their recommendations- The Pumpkin Cheesecake Cinnamon Roll. The cinnamon roll was warm and gooey, it wasn't too big, and the flavor I selected wasn't too sweet (which I appreciated). I did find it to be a bit chewy. I also got a water. The total with tax was $9.74.Service: The service was good, the staff answered all my questions and gave me flavor recommendations. Ambiance: The location was clean. It's not a big location but there a several two seater tables. There weren't too many people. So the place was very quiet."

Victoria C. "Growing up and subsequently going to college in different parts of northern California, I grew up with the assumption that hole in the wall Chinese restaurants were usually the most authentic and best tasting. Thinking this and missing California this weekend, I decided to give Full House a try, but I'm not sure it really met my expectations.I will say, their portion sizes are generous and their food comes out quickly, for a very fair price given the amount of food that you get. The dishes themselves will also do in a pinch, but I don't feel like it was white I was looking for.The beef lo mein, to start with, was by far the highlight of the meal. It was well prepared, with the noodles not overcooked or undercooked, and a generous amount of meat. The sesame balls were a little more cooked than I'm used to but not overcooked (the sesame seeds were toasted pretty dark), but had a good outside to filling ratio. Also, hot and freshly made, which was something I deeply missed. The sweet and sour pork was sort of a miss. The pieces of pork were very tiny, sort of fingertip sized, and there was only pineapples - not bell peppers or onions or anything like I'm accustomed to. The sweet and sour sauce was kind of bland, had more of a vinegar kick to it than anything else, but not bad. The cream cheese wontons/rangoons were cooked a little unevenly so they were really chewy in the middle but really thoroughly cooked at the tips, and they tasted sort of fishy, like they'd been fried in oil just used to fry fish in. Overall, it wasn't quite what I was expecting, but it was a decent and fairly priced restaurant that will do when you're in need of a quick lunch."

Joyce I. "Stopped by The Nest after shopping nearby. We didn't feel like driving home in traffic hour without grabbing a bite to eat first so came in for a small meal. I actually wanted Korean food next door, but didn't feel like we needed the huge portions or leftovers before Thanksgiving. So The Nest's food options hit the spot without breaking the bank. We ordered the ramen which is just a Shin ramen with some kimchi, melted cheese and hot dogs in it. It's not bad, the kind of comfort food I make at home for $8. But well worth it to have some warm soup while out of the house. The carne asada fries were too salty for my liking. It's a shame it doesn't come with avocados or sour cream to balance the saltiness of the fries, meat and cheese. Maybe if they added more crema or an aioli at least?Overall the place is pretty lowkey, they have some board games and a few arcade games. Not a bad place to grab a snack or food after shopping with kids. Also that they love KPop here and they have a few decorations and have some sort of event coming up in line with the Kiss of Life concert on Friday. A good place to check out if you like Korean food, snacks and boba."
