"Growing up and subsequently going to college in different parts of northern California, I grew up with the assumption that hole in the wall Chinese restaurants were usually the most authentic and best tasting. Thinking this and missing California this weekend, I decided to give Full House a try, but I'm not sure it really met my expectations.I will say, their portion sizes are generous and their food comes out quickly, for a very fair price given the amount of food that you get. The dishes themselves will also do in a pinch, but I don't feel like it was white I was looking for.The beef lo mein, to start with, was by far the highlight of the meal. It was well prepared, with the noodles not overcooked or undercooked, and a generous amount of meat. The sesame balls were a little more cooked than I'm used to but not overcooked (the sesame seeds were toasted pretty dark), but had a good outside to filling ratio. Also, hot and freshly made, which was something I deeply missed. The sweet and sour pork was sort of a miss. The pieces of pork were very tiny, sort of fingertip sized, and there was only pineapples - not bell peppers or onions or anything like I'm accustomed to. The sweet and sour sauce was kind of bland, had more of a vinegar kick to it than anything else, but not bad. The cream cheese wontons/rangoons were cooked a little unevenly so they were really chewy in the middle but really thoroughly cooked at the tips, and they tasted sort of fishy, like they'd been fried in oil just used to fry fish in. Overall, it wasn't quite what I was expecting, but it was a decent and fairly priced restaurant that will do when you're in need of a quick lunch."
"The staff are very friendly & courteous. Coffee is great and so are the pastries. I usually meet a group of 4 ladies for coffee/pastries and we've never had a complaint. Very casual atmosphere. We always enjoy our visits here. I buy bags of their Blubonnet coffees to give for gifts. I always get good responses for the coffees."

"So good! Went through the drive through ( only option, dining was closed). Our lemon chicken and peppered steak was amazing. Very friendly lady at the window. Portion size was huge! Totally worth it."
"My favorite churro place in all of San Antonio. I usually order the lasso with ice cream. For the fillings I like the Nutella, strawberry or cajeta."
"Wonderful little place. Reminds me of the snack shops in Laredo and the valley.Stopped next door to get an appliance and while we were waiting the kids and I snuck next door to la Chiquita for some scoops and fun.The staff is super nice and friendly. There's plenty of flavors of ice cream, paletas, and tons of snacks. All your favorite drinks like topo Chico and big red are present and ready to wash down whatever you're eating. Don't miss this neighborhood gem!"
"Lunch today was a tarragon chicken salad sandwich .. savory with a grained mustard, greens, and a tomato. The sandwich was super large, and the flavor was really good. I like the variety of hot teas ... went for the spicey Turkish tea. However, I am still not a fan of the cupcakes ... thick rather than fluffy, tasteless. The service was fast and friendly. The parking is sparse."
"My husband and I were in the mood for some pastries and coffee and this little coffee truck stand is the place to go. Young man has all kinds of options from hot coffees to cold coffees to matcha drinks. He also provides pastries that are delish !!:) perfect location right in the medical center area as well as in same parking lot as H‑E‑B. You can grab your pastry and coffee and you can go grocery shopping after work ;-)"
"Love this place! My husband gets mangonada and I get corn cup.. The prices are great and kids are all happy with icecream and snow cones"
"This was my very first time to EVER dine at a Taco Palenque and it was definitely an experience for me & I felt the restaurant was a good blend of dine-in and take-out/drive-thru.Since this was my first time I was a little overwhelmed by the order yourself kiosks, the fresh salsa bar, seeing directly into the kitchen, the fresh drinks and soda fountain, and the wall art. There was a lot going on lol.Service was so so quick & both the register lady and the gentleman attending to tables in the dining room were so friendly. If you come here you MUST check out the salsa bar & try out everything they have to offer, the plus side is they have free chips to go with it :) another MUST TRY is the Jamaica juice that they make fresh. So good! The reasons I am giving 4 and not 5 stars is because: - the 'Queso' is pretty much a cheese dip, and did not taste fresh made at all. There really was not much too it which was a bummer. If I wanted nachos maybe it would've been fine as it's the same consistency as it.- the Guacamole was OK but definitely not the best, for some reason I thought it had an off taste. I couldn't figure out why.- the Rice really was not great either. Don't bother doing a combo. I was a little sad about that honestly because I do love some good Mexican rice. All in all, they are a decent fast food restaurant but my faves are the salsa bar & the fresh Jamaica/Horchata drinks. If I'm craving tacos or something similar I will probably go to one of the other fast Mexican restaurants close by."
"What a great bakery! Everything is delicious, customer service is exceptional and prices are great! I asked for a special order cake and NOTHING was too challenging for Lizzie and her crew! Lots of fantastic cupcakes, cookies and other desserts in the cold case for immediate pickup! Conveniently located across from the Antique Mall on San Antonio!"
"This was a must try being new to San Antonio! We purchased a deal on Groupon and are so glad we did. The entire experience was wonderful! The monster and brownie batter mix was delicious!! I'd also recommend the experiment 626. We'll definitely be back for brunch!!! Yummy"
"They don't make it until you order It's so light and crispy. Melt in your mouth. How does this place not have 1k reviews? 4 churros and a dipping sauce for $7"

Food is ok. It's usually consistent, it's fast to come out but it's not the best Chinese in the area.

What a hidden gem! I asked my hair stylist where to get some good Chinese Food as the weather is getting colder. She said she's been coming here for years! The portions are huge and the meals are flavorful. The owners are super kind and gracious. They only have drive thru for pick up, but the online ordering system is really efficient. The lo mein was my favorite followed by the beef with broccoli. Can't wait to go back to try other dishes.

Well when in the SA Four Points-- you guys know the four areas---our go to after play dates and sports is Honchos! Delicious and incredible staff with the perfect picnic tables outside to not worry about crumbs in the car all the way back home. No one can wait to eat and dive in including me with their sweetened condensed milk or cajeta dip, so we always grab a table for our churros family dinner! Not close to us but always worth the stop !

This place has a lot of variety and everything we tried was good! We tried elotes, topochicos preparados, vaso locos and tropicanas. Absolutely amazing. The owner was here too and she was super friendly and helpful.

Kind friends from San Antonio brought us an assortment of GF cupcakes, and we now must visit the bakery in person. My partner usually lets me know when baked goods are good for "GF standards", but these were deemed delicious by any standards. The cupcake itself is tasty and the frosting is decadent and rich.

Yum! Saw the truck on my way to work and thought why not. Got myself a latte with whole milk. Attendant was kind enough to help me with the menu and my selection. I'm a novice when it comes to ordering coffee so it's always nice to have someone with the patience to help you through life's greatest questions haha. Got a Pastrie from the food truck as well. Picture included in this review. Think of a pop tart. Give it a slight lemon, honey zest. More so honey zest. Give it a chocolate decoration on top. But then use the left over chocolate and fill the pastry with it! I will add the pastry was a VERY good size. Go fill your life's void with some niche coffee and treats! You won't regret it!

"I just love 85 degrees and you can't go wrong with any of their pastries and desserts! One of the most underrated items on their menu is their selection of boba teas and coffee. Everything I have tried has been delicious. This trip I had a hot sea salt coffee. No bitterness and not too sweet, perfect!I loaded up on a bunch of pastries. Here are some of my top picks: marble taro, ube, mango panna cotta, tiramisu cheesecake, and the mango bun."
"An update review because their food is so delicious!!I finally had dinner here with my fiancé and am so happy I did. This time around we started off with a Hot Cocoa and yes, another Matcha Latte. The Hot Cocoa was made with a rich and decadent chocolate and was topped with a thicker whipped cream and chocolate drizzle, and the Matcha was just as rich in flavor with a beautiful foam layer on top. Both looked absolutely beautiful. For our main course, we had the Schnezel and Chicken Florentine Crepe, both delicious in their own right. My fiancé's Schnezel was a super hearty chicken sandwich that came with yummy steak fries that tasted best with their dipping sauce. Both entrees had an abundance of tender chicken, but my Chicken Florentine Crepe was lighter than the sandwich. The many layers of crepe itself were sweet and had a fluffy texture despite how thin they were, and paired excellently with the creamy, savory sauce. The chicken and sautéed mushrooms also paired exquisitely, and all of the flavors came together for a fantastic dish. I am typically not a fan of salad, but I even enjoyed the side salad with its flavorful vinaigrette. It was an absolutely delicious meal, and we're looking forward to trying more from the menu!"
"Great customer service. Great food. Mac and cheese is awesome. BBQ sauce is great. Backed potato with pulled pork and sausage was great. Really good."
"Bought a cake for my wife's birthday. The strawberry was rotten and the mango smell bad. They didn't accept to take the cake back. My wife told me she looked on Facebook and also saw similar reviews. I was told by the lady that is on the counter that they bring these cake from Monterey, NL Mexico. So, you can imagine... the last thing that you are getting here is "fresh".I recommend you to got somewhere else where they do bake their cakes. Don't waste your time here."
"Fast and delicious menu this week! Enjoyed the cakes and cookies. Staff was friendly and deserts where warm and satisfying"
"The food, service and cleanliness were spot on. We we surrounded by antique furniture and art which gave us a great ambiance."
"Always fast and friendly customer service and delicious cookies with a clean store. This is my favorite location"
"It was amazing!!!! By far one of the best Chinese restaurants we've tried!!! Great service and staff!"
"They do not speak English so it was hard.Nothing is in English so you just smile & point lol.I ordered an empanada carne & I'm not going to say it was bad but I wouldn't try it again. It was just too much meat & the crust was not for me.Do not let this review discourage you, try them out."
"I LOVE this place so much! The staff is so welcoming and friendly, the food is great quality and the restaurant itself is a fun vibe. We ordered birria tacos, Baja shrimp tacos, hot cheeto esquete with the watermelon lime agua fresca and omg it was the best meal! (They clearly make their agua Frescas with actual fruit, not premade stuff) We're looking forward to visiting again to try more food and their paletas at their patio"
"$3.09 for a big spoon full of guacamole. (And the price is correct, i asked) I Love the food though. Good red enchiladas."
"I love this place! I wish it was open everyday! Check out their FB page for their open times. They have plenty of parking but it is a small business so it's not meant for large crowds(maybe two families). I go here just for their white corn! I totally recommend it! If your from el Valle and are in search of a good corn-in-cup or tosti-elote, you will LOVE this place!! Very authentic! Very clean place and a menu with a variety of delicious items to order. My family loves their ice cream cones and ice cream in a cup(they can add toppings). They have photos on the wall of the items so you know what to expect. I recommend, 10 outta 10!!"
"Very interesting walking in to the coffee shop! The people who work here are amazing and easy to talk to. I love how they have all the small pop up shops to where you can buy locally. The kolaches are amazing!"
"Don't eat here. Over priced food, they will get your order wrong, and they don't take cash. Paid extra for a lot of things and they messed it up. I would avoid this place."
"I don't usually eat Texas barbecue but when in Texas I have to and let me tell you Black's Barbecue did not disappoint! We got the fatty beef brisket, jalapeno-cheese sausage and pork spare ribs to share. Everything was soo tender, juicy and just so good! For sides we got the potato salad, mac and cheese and cream corn. The sides went perfectly with the meat. I also love how you can grab your own onions, pickles and bread because I'm an onion girlie and need a whole lot haha. The workers were very welcoming and friendly and it's a big place with a nice and chill vibe. I know there's many barbecue places here in Texas but I think Black's Barbeque is definitely worth a try!"
"Pistachio paleta dipped in chocolate was good. not a whole lot of choices but worth a visit if you're in the area!"
"OMG! This was so delicious! Have you ever heard of avocado butter sauce? Well I will never forget it it was soooo good! My steak was so tender I cut it with my fork! My husband had the shrimp and red fish stuffed with lobster and Veracruz sauce. Not one drop was left on his plate. The tres leches and flan were to die for. Please go, you won't regret it. Our bill was about $50 plus tip."
"This is definitely one of my favorite fruterias in town. First off, they have a drive-thru. Convenient, healthful food is hard to come by most days, but Fruteria la Mission takes care of me in that regard. I usually order their large fruit cup--the term "large" being an understatement by the way. This thing is massive--a two-story home of a fruit cup. It's dressed with chile and lime, giving you sweetness, heat, and acid with each bite. The quality of the fruit is excellent too. There's a good variety of fruits and textures going on in each cup, ranging from watermelon to mango, cucumber to coconut, and so on. It's soooo good! I crave this place all the time, but especially during the warmer months. The drive-thru is efficient. This place is usually bumping when we go, and we never have to wait in line for a crazy amount of time. The staff is friendly, making this happy experience all the better. If you're out visiting the missions one of these days, remember to swing by Fruteria la Mission afterward. You'll love it."
"Went on a Friday for brunch and service was exceptional! There were a lot of people but we got everything pretty quick! Our server was really nice and helpful. The place was nice and clean. Food is always great here! I've tried a variety of things and have never had a complaint. Definitely worth going to. Did want to point out that adding extra cheese to anything is $3!!! Definitely made my tab go up. Not worth $3 in my opinion."
"This little coffee truck has made it into my heart and I want to follow it wherever it goes. 10/10 recommend! Justin the barista is kind and helpful and even asked our preference to how we like our lattes made (sweet or not too sweet) and made them so well. The first time I went I got their signature honeycomb banana latte and my friend got the cherry sweet off their valentines menu and they were both amazing! The second time I went I got the blueberry kiss latte (valentines menu) and my husband got the cherry blossom latte (secret menu, Justin had just made the syrup) and they were both so good also!Just go to this coffee truck and you'll see what I'm talking about. The parking is great! It's free and in a big church parking lot. The ambiance is nice and pink and the seating is minimal. 2 seats, a swing bench and a picnic table."
"Went for the 1st time on a Sunday afternoon restaurant was pretty empty but nevertheless we were excited to try the birria. Tried the birria quesadillas and was not disappointed. Birria was soo flavorful and meaty. Cheese was authentic and a great compliment to the birria. Tried the cucumber agua fresca and it was nit my favorite but excited to try a different flavor next time I stop by."
"THE freshest cookies around. They have the same buttery smooth homemade taste you'd expect at home. The store is spotless, and the person who helped us was very friendly. We will definitely be coming back for more!"
"I loved the vibe, the sides, and the steak at Myron's! My sister and I are in our early 20's, but we like to dress up and go to nice steakhouses, and this was one of our favorites. Our server was very nice and accommodating. The only thing was she looked at our IDs a little long and suspiciously when we ordered our drinks, which was a little uncomfortable, but I get it we are 22 & 24 and baby faced. She made up for it with great service, and split a rib eye between us (portion size was large!)The vibe just felt nice and upscale, but prices were still affordable compared to Kirby's or Bob's. and I loved my Keylime pie cocktail. Definitely would go here again!"
